Danielben27: Good morning and happy new month I want to narrate the problem I am facing presently to you guys. I believe I will be able to get good response here. I am 28years old. I finished school year. And from then till now I am not working not that I don't want to work o or work isn't coming but I have problem passing the interviews. I am so shy and timid that I won't be able to answer questions. The last interview in abuja, a job that could pay me up to 150k I messed it up. They asked me questions that I knew the answers to but I was so afraid to speak. I couldn't even look the man and two women in their face. I just sat there mopping at the ground, sweating uncontrollably. My hearts pounding. They were even encouraging me to speak up, they gave me time to talk but I said nothing. Even when I tried to speak my voice was just shaking. I could have easily gotten the job but that one went Last month,I went for an interview. Job of 75k. I messed it up. The man even told me to come the next day for the job that he understands my fear but I didn't go because I felt I won't be able to attend to customers well. My social life is zero, I have no friends, I have nobody I can relate with. Like this I have been managing the little money I have and what is left is 15k. If this money finishes without me getting a job I am doomed bcus nobody to call. Why I am bringing this here is so that someone can help me out. I saw a doctor and he said it is anxiety disorder. He gave me drugs I took around march but nothing worked. I was just spending unnecessary, when he even prescribed another drug that one just made me hungry every time. Back then in school I heard people use weed to be more social but never tried it. I thought it was bad and not good for the health. But now I can do anything to come out of this. The only situation better than this my situation now is death. Please I need advise on how I can get weed, dosage. Is there any other way to use apart from smoking. Where can I get quality weed. Like how much will I spend on it in a month( I am short on money now ). I have an interview on Wednesday so I will appreciate if more people drop their advice. God bless you. u av to man up before sapa kill you. We live in an organised jungle forget say we no dey chop each other but u must realise something ur parents had to fight by hustling to send u to school hoping u would be a fighter. No woman loves a timid person..and u won't like yourself to cos u will miss out on many opportunities. Had something similar to urs but not as bad in school I got better cos in undergrad days exams took different formats from 200 level to 600 it always ended facing 3 to 4 panel of examiners asking anything u must av been taught during that section..it was crazy learning was structured as presentations among ur peers. Study groups...interactive sections and all..it got worse after graduation ppl who I was more intelligent were applying to harvard..John hopkin carey and bloomers.. Wharton and were getting it but my mind kept on telling me to go for Georgia state and some other low schools until I said to myself oga better no shortchange yourself. Put in the ivy leagues with my 312 gre and now finally settling for jhu. You need to fight at the end u realise u have what it takes |

Our population can become a blessing and a curse with the level of corruption and political blindness it is a curse. If nigeris was just 10 million ppl we would be a very rich nation. And it would be easier to manage..our leaders dont have the cerebral capacity to manage the dynamics of 200+ million ppl . When in fact our population makes it just right for us to rapidly develop for God sake most of population are made up of youthful energy let's put it to use..but clueless leaders are wasting the energy of the youths in 40ysrs time that youthful energy would be gone. The finest breed of Nigerians were born in the 1940 and 50s. After that the decline started those guys were tutored by white men here in nigeria and most could stand side by side with the best of the west. Just look at the first products of Nigeria first 3 universities those guys were the best .highly cerebral.. cultured...with strong morals .were not moved by money .they didn't want to be so rich they just wanted their lives to have a meaning and their communities and region to be peaceful and productive. |

Romance › Re: Why Most Nigerian Men Fear Marrying Single Mothers by Blitzking: 5:52pm On Sep 28, 2023*. Modified: 11:21am On Sep 30, 2023 |
Azeemokoya: In Nigeria, as in many parts of the world, the dynamics of relationships and family structures have evolved significantly over the years. One of the most noticeable changes is the increasing number of single mothers in society.
While this trend is indicative of the strength of women who navigate the challenges of single parenthood, it has also sparked discussions about why some men may hesitate or even fear marrying single mothers.
Take for instance, Chidi, a young professional in Lagos, confessed that he once hesitated to date a single mother because he feared what his family and friends would say.
In Nigeria, like in many other societies, there exists a certain stigma attached to single motherhood. Traditional cultural norms often place a high value on the nuclear family unit, where children are raised by both biological parents.
https://newsroundtheclock.com/why-most-nigerian-men-fear-marrying-single-mothers/ Single mothers are with lots of emotional baggages that single guys shouldn't venture into for peace of mind..I don't mind single dads going for single mothers.even women who have dated several men might av been damaged emotionally and become highly distrustful or toxic while some become less assertive for fear of them being dumped again..so not good for themselves and their new partner. |

Romance › Re: I Took Blood Oath With My Ex-girlfriend And This Is Happening Now by Blitzking: 1:19am On Sep 27, 2023 |
Opanka44: Good evening House, I'm fazed, perturbed and downcast at the moment. I can't sleep. My eyes are heavy. I am depressed and I need all the counsel I can get.
In year 2020, I made a Beautiful girl(22yrs old). I asked her out same day I met her, we vibed so well and became lovers. It was during the COVID-19 period. I met this girl when I left my base at Lagos to Cross river(my place). The lady told me that she was a 200level student of Kogi state university and that she was home due to the lockdown. Our love grew so strong and I was taken to her house to meet her parents. Very lovely people. We loved each other so much that we had already planned on getting married. We stupidly took blood Oath after a few months of dating cos the lady claimed that she had experienced lots of heartbreaks in the past and she was finding it difficult to trust me, she then suggested we took blood Oath. I accepted and it was done. After the Oath, I discovered this girl only lied to me that she was an undergraduate. She was never!. She had just had her NCE. Her dad was the one that told me this, he never knew that her daughter had already lied to me that she was an undergraduate. I was so shocked to learn about this lie. After this discovery, I began to study her closely. But I never revealed my findings to her. She was so materialistic, but never demanding from me. The main issue started when she discovered that I wasn't as rich as she had thought the first day she met me. She started to misbehave and was giving me unhealthy attitude. This lady at age 21, already had three abortions and terrible public image. I was so shocked. To cut the long story, we eventually broke up. But some years back, she would always chat me up on Facebook wanting to see me and all that . But I have cut ties with her and I can't go back again. She's very rude, disrespectful and stubborn(Her parents confirmed this). Now, I want us to find a way of breaking this Oath, but each time I call to say this, she keeps throwing insults. And I can't withstand it. Sometimes when she insults, I also give it back to her in commercial quantity. But how long will dis continue? I haven't seen her since we parted. I have already informed my mum about the Oath. But her own parents are not aware. I intend calling her parents but I have lost their contacts since we broke up. I only confided in one of her friends, but the friend isn't as sensible and responsible as it should. I really need help pls. I'm scared of getting married now ... It's even much worse whenever I watch some contents online regarding such circumstance.
Moderators, pls move this to front Page ASAP. Sorry I Posted it here. My apologies pls. sleeping with a girl u are not married to is worse than oath some girls have strong affiliation in the spirit world they would deal with you..but this girl too no pure..don't think she took that oath seriously..is she married now? |
Crime › Re: Police Arrest Metal Drainage Cover Thieves In Lagos (Photos) by Blitzking: 1:02am On Sep 27, 2023 |
saphiere: In a swift early morning operation today, the operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) successfully apprehended two individuals who were caught red-handed stealing fabricated metal drainage covers in the affluent area of Ikate, Lekki.
At approximately 5:00 a.m., RRS patrol units, while conducting routine surveillance along Freedom Way, noticed suspicious activity involving a mini-bus, commonly referred to as "korope," bearing the registration number KTU 45 YD. The occupants of the vehicle, later identified as Jubreel Haruna (29) and Adewale Rabiu (27), were seen loading the metal drainage covers into their vehicle.
The quick-thinking RRS operatives wasted no time in accosting the suspects, preventing them from making away with the valuable materials. The suspects were taken into custody without incident.
Following their arrest, both Jubreel Haruna and Adewale Rabiu were promptly charged and are now facing prosecution in accordance with the directives of Commander RRS, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi. The charges filed against the suspects underline the seriousness with which the authorities are treating this case of attempted theft.
Metal drainage covers, often targeted by thieves due to their scrap value, pose a significant safety risk when removed from their designated locations. Such thefts can lead to accidents and damage to public infrastructure, underscoring the importance of the RRS's proactive efforts to curb this illegal activity.
Local residents and authorities have praised the Rapid Response Squad for their swift response and commitment to maintaining the security and integrity of the community. This incident serves as a reminder that law enforcement agencies remain vigilant in safeguarding public property and deterring criminal activity in the area.
https://www.instagram.com/p/Cxqq0R6r_LY/?img_index=3 These ones have no business facing a court of law..they should be shot on sight..they must be among t the awa lokan hooligans e red una begin steal metal ..public property to feed as we keep speaking against incompetence. We need to also do right..we can't keep shortchanging govt and expect them to become magicians we can't keep throwing our wastes and expect drainage not to get blocked..when the rain finally comes and flood carries you house away u call on the same govt to help u to relocate..you can't keep destroying up public property and the money that should av been used to do other things in govt u want govt to keep doing the same thing over and over wasting funds. We can't keep bypassing meters and expect the power generation companies not to go out of business..instead pay ur bills and let them have more funds to improve their services. We can do better as Nigerians. Avoid praising ppl who are wealthy without moral an ignored corrupt billionaire is worse than a pauper. |
