CriticMaestro: When boko haram attacked a town called baga around the lake Chad region some years back they massacred more than 2000 people, the fulani herdsmen are killing on average of 20-30 people in a day, boko haram are still continuing with their attacks, just yesterday a bomb killed more than 30 people....
So I asked this question: From which planet are you from, cuz clearly u don't belong here Maybe he isn't referring to the herdsmen killing but he's right about one thing, in 2013 there was 73,505 injuries due to fire arms and 33,636 deaths due to fire arms. |

If you follow the news you'll find out that Donald Trump has angered Germans with his tweet accusing them of violence whereas the United States ranks highest in domestic violence and gun killings. |

Nigeria is a dump
Herdsmen killing Nigerians anyhow and you are talking like someone who never went to school
How dare you compare Nigeria with even Ghana talkless of Egypt
Then you went across the Atlantic to America ? Are you drunk?
Read a book and get some information before opening your mouth and making a clown of yourself He's right bro. I'm no Buhari supporter but the rate of gun violence is outrageous. You only hear about the few ones termed 'high profile killings ". In 2013 there was 73,505 injuries due to fire arms and 33,636 deaths due to fire arms. The grass isn't always greener on the other side. Every country has it's demon, ours is unnecessary and perpetuated by the government, theirs too by the government. Elder001: The man that also brought a lot to the table which benefit is he going to have?
Everybody should make money and acquire their own properties abeg. It's good that you highlighted that benefit part, that's why I won't make the mistake to marry according to the western culture. All your labor will just go to one woman, and some women just marry a successful man, get divorced and take his property. Both parties should know what they're bringing to the table, I can't marry a liability and God forbid if divorce comes she'll now want all my hardwork, brother the house will burn with us inside o. |

Elder001: No hard feelings man.
That you stayed with a man when he was broke doesn't mean you shouldn't make money and acquire your own properties.
This is the problem with many ladies. When the man was working hard to make money and acquire properties what was the woman doing? sitting down abi? and you say that same woman deserve which property?
As for your mum she is a very hardworking woman which every sane mind must complement. Her type is rare in a place like Nigeria. None taken. Exactly, I was lucky to have a mom like mine. Women today are too lazy. My mom would foot the bill before my dad returned home, and my dad wasn't a bum. An average naija girl don't want to work or hustle. That's why a lot of women today want an already made man, so they can sit at home and do nothing. And even if they're working will still hoard their salary at the detriment of the home. |

Elder001: Free your heart from the hate you have for me and you'll realize I'm a good person.
What makes you to think I got married to a lady who doesn't have anything in her name already?
I've already clarified my stance on this page already;
I'm not totally against registry wedding .if at all it must be registry then make sure the woman has her own properties and she also has her own money.. anything other than that don't attempt registry wedding.
Nobody goes into marriage with the hope or thoughts of divorce but this is the 21st century ,everything is possible. There are times in marriage when divorce becomes inevitable .Love doesn't keep a marriage rather it is communication and understanding that keeps a marriage .If you marry because of love, love will fade some day and all those good characters will also fade some day thus making the marriage unreconcileable.
This is one of the reasons I don't support getting married to a broke woman or turning your wife into a full time housewife.
A broke individual can never be trusted. It is the broke ones that will go any length to share your properties and make you emotionally devastated.
Broke people can be greedy and very dangerous
If the woman has her own properties and her own money there's no way court will share any properties because she can't prove that you wasted her life.
She can only be awarded child support if you both have kids and she was also awarded custody of the kids.
anything other than that I won't advice any man to do registry. I apologize for my behavior on my thread and for misjudging you. I do not have any hatred towards you neither am I calling you out to troll you. I love interacting with people who argue intellectually and not attacking one personality or generalizing, that's what made me loose my cool on the other thread. I agree with you on marrying a broke person. A lot of people, especially female see marriage as a poverty alleviation scheme. In a situation where a man and a woman had struggled together and in the future they separate it's only right to share whatever they have. Personally I'm repulsed by women with no idea or goals in life and are desperate for marriage, woe beside the unfortunate man. I take my stance based on personal experience. As a kid I saw my mom and dad make a fortune together through thick and thin only for the man to walk out later in life with everything, it got to court and despite the court orders he still did what he wanted to do. Now with almost zero, mother raised us and we're doing good. Now if my mom had the awareness we had today the matter would have worked in a way to benefit both parties. It's the right of every woman out there who struggled with her man to enjoy the benefits too. Even if she's just a house wife ,raising kids are damn hard, not to talk of raising kids with good moral standards or a woman that manages house chores with a 8-5 job and taking care of the kids . But if it's a man who has worked hard for his money and a gold digger comes later it will be foolish if he does a registry. The point is know the kind of woman you are getting married, don't use love to make foolish decision. A lady who can foot her bills and even if she's not working but brings a lot to the table deserves some kind of benefit after divorce. |

salt1: Entitlement mentality.
Mama feels that giving birth to you is her license into blackmailing you to do anything she wants This is the worse. Blackmail the child to give out the little he or she is working for is so wrong. Your child do not owe you anything but you owe them because you brought them into the world. They can only show gratitude to you but not in the overly demanding manner naija parents use |

Adukey: I hated this in my year one, my dad would just come unannounced, not that I go out of school o. I won't do that to my children, it made me feel like I was still a baby that needed monitoring every time. One can never be too careful. My dad visited me alot in the University. My mom visited once but now I realize it helped me a lot. I was able to communicate about my challenges in school with my father and it wasn't difficult to convince him because he sees what's going on. Coming unannounced is what's childish. My dad would call days before and inform me. I will do same with my kids. Maybe twice a semester. One a long visit and the other a really short one, just reimburse and leave. It won't also hurt if I'm going through their school area and drop by. My dad didn't have the world, but if he drives pass he always stops by even if it's just 3k he's giving, sometimes you just have to show you care. |

NYSC › Re: Should I Resign From My Current P.P.A? by Blonchilli(m): 10:12am On Jun 15, 2018 |
CsRockefeller: Good evening everyone, pls i really need your advice on this issue.
I was posted to an NGO for my service year in February, they got me a house without pay. In April we had a project on HIV and AIDS and I was paid 20k. Ever since, I just go to work and sit down from morning 8am till 5pm doing nothing, I started and finished Game of Thrones from 1 to 7.
Before I was posted in camp I always dreamt of teaching in a secondary school, because that's were my passion is and, I have an ambition of being a lecturer.
Now, I recently saw a school were I can teach for twice in a week, but my current ppa closes by 5pm, which means I only have my cds on Wednesday free to teach, I have taught twice, and I really love it and want to continue.
The problem is how do I tell my Director at my NGO that I want to leave? He has been good and nice to me and they rely on me to do a lot of clerical work in the office, but inside of me I'm not fulfilled and don't have time for myself.
Its 6 months into my service and I'm not feeling like I'm impacting any live or my community.
I want to summit my resignation letter by the end of the month, and focus on my students especially in economics and accounting, if I leave I will also leave their accommodation, that means I will be coming twice a week from my uncle's house which is far (N500) daily to the school.
I've been praying about this for a month now, and even discussed it with my mum with her giving me her blessings to leave, today my Director during a meeting said teaching profession is the best ever, I was wondering if that's a sign, and I'm also planning on visiting my grandma in August when schools are on break, an opportunity my NGO won't give me.
Guys, what's ur take? Leave or stay? You sound like you don't have the proper orientation. Are you not aware that you can't resign from your ppa? You can only be rejected and also what about your clearance letter? Do the school have authorization to give you that? If such a decision is to be made you should go through your L. I. If you do this and if your current ppa wants to punish you could report you and you could get an extension. Nysc wasn't created for you to be "fulfilled ". Do your time and bounce but think about your next step in life. If you really want to teach and you have a good relationship with your current boss talk to him about it. If he's as nice as you say he can approve the days you have classes but your clearance will still come from the ngo. Don't put yourself in trouble because of signs and unnecessary things. When I served I was able to do three different jobs and I didn't go behind my ppa. They knew and gave me time off. Even the third term exam I couldn't attend it cause of my schedule because they trusted me. Be wise. God will not direct you to trouble. Talk with your school and if they don't allow you then talk with your LI. I don't see the bruhaha with teaching self. Yes you have a passion but can't you wait till you finish your service year? |

I bought this spray starch when I realized that FAULTLESS, EASY ON and NIAGRA spray starch are getting too expensive for my liking.. Spray starch don reach like #1,100 sef. I plan to mix 2 spoonfulls and fill with 750ml (the container size) inside the RENEW STARCH container I kept since that time. I will let you know about the results as regards crispness and texture. The 5kg of Vinko Bond is sold at 3700. Imagine getting such quantity and mixing it with air freshener that wouldn't stain the clothes or a nice perfume. I'm thinking producing in large quantity and using for my business |

I mixed 3/4 tablespoon of the glue dissolved it water, added some airfreshner then pour inside an empty cormat spray starch container. I tested it on one of my old abandoned shirt and it came out well just as FAULTLESS and NIAGRA heavy spary starch that I used to buy. I even wore the shirt to evening service sef. I will dissolve another spoon and add to container to get the desired crispness I want. I will post the results here. Please do. If it works out fine I will love to have some and we could talk better about it . Thanks |

Johnson5258: She's US based, married with 3 kids. She lives in Texas. Her husband is Tunde who works or used to work with Access Bank in Lagos. She got involved with another guy in Nigeria and they both got involved in series of adulterous activities. Her lover, an older guy as well swindled or collected over N10m from her. She went to arrest him only for him to publish nude pictures of them together in order to prove his innocence to the Police that whatever happened between both of them was consensual, that he's not a fraudster as claimed by the married woman. The blackmail from the man got to her husband and this compelled the husband to conduct a DNA test on all his 3 children which later turned out that they are not all his kids after all. Those kids belong to someone else. On Saturday, 9th of June, 2018, the woman drove her truck to the bridge, parked her Ford SUV van on the 3rd Mainland Bridge and jumped inside the lagoon on a suicide mission which is a resultant effect of the blackmail. Bad market/bad business/dirty game. She's gone and the kids are left in the hands of strangers to be taken care of. Lesson to learn. Don't come here and blackmail someone please. If it's false you could be sued |
