pankere:Some sites don't need pin. Just the card number, name, expiry date and 3 digit code behind. These details are on the card. Especially all those social media websites & appstores. |
ClassCaptain:So funny. Anyway, no wonder their babies always so ugly. They re-engineer themselves but forget to re-engineer their DNA. |
codeline:Thank God you are seeing this now! Ojukwu said Kokorokoooo! When you wake up then it is morning for you. What is the difference between this and a zoo? See how our so called brothers are reasoning and defending evil. in any civilized world, this guy will already be in jail. More things will still happen in this Nigeria. Just wait for it! |
As a mother I can't even contribute anything useful to this conversation except pain. I'm so pained at this news. I imagine what Ese's parents are passing through right now. Looks like a scene from a movie I once saw. A true life story. The Elizabeth Smart abduction. The offenders are in prison for life. In Nigeria we are even entertaining whether it's wrong or right? May this never happen to our children! Mummy and daddy ese, my thoughts & prayers are with you. May ur family be restored and may u all experience peace, joy and laughter again! |
cr7lomo:You are making sense. She doesn't even look like she just gave birth in the pictures. |
Comments like this remind me why I come to nairaland. I've been laughing like a lunatic.. adren: |
Not sure between mtn and airtel oh. But airtel is the most annoying cos they add like 15 spam calls in addition to the sms daily. If u have a smart phone, u can actually add those numbers to spam and u will stop receiving the messages. Unfortunately, u can't predict the numbers as new ones are added daily. I also use true caller to block those useless calls too. |
Listening to her, she does sound like a victim herself. Married into a family of criminals. Imagine an old mother in-law unsympathetic to the plight of an 11month old baby. Doesn't excuse Her though. The law is the law and if she did the crime then she must do the time. Just a lesson for other women out there, if your husband or family sends you to commit a crime, better report them to the police, period! Telling us after the deed is done will not help u. |
I'm even slimmer now than b4 I got married and had kids. But lemme ask a question oh, all this fat papas with pot belle that I see around, were they like dat on their wedding day? All our bodies change with age, male and female alike. I think ladies can even be forgiven cause the changes most time are as a result of hormones during pregnancy, menopause etc. Guys, abeg, Wetin be una excuse ![]() ?? |
soulglo:I'm sure this pap smears is not common here in Nigeria. Cos I've never had one and I use one of the biggest hospitals here in Ph. It wasn't even mentioned. Maybe my medical insurance didn't cover it. But I'm just saying maybe cos it was never even mentioned at all. |
I'm a mother of two and have never been touched or fingered inappropriately. In fact, no doctor or midwife has ever inserted finger into my private part. But that's because my babies were born by c-section and I never needed such medical exams during ante-natal. That being said, no doctor will stop you from being present when examining your wife. So try and always be there if it helps you sleep better at night. My husband was even allowed into the theater during my surgeries so u could ask to be present during labour/c-section. I am a woman and the thought of any stranger inserting finger in my vagina disgusts me. I'm sure I would have endured it if I had vaginal deliveries but I'm glad I didn't and totally understand how @op feels. |
@op, not able to do no. 4. Using whatsApp on my iPad mini. Please I need more info on how to go about that. Also post a simpler step on how to activate whatsApp on ipad as I went through a very serious process to achieve that. Somebody might need it. Thanks |
Toyota is more durable. Hondas always give trouble. 3 of my colleagues use Honda. The machanic almost works with us. I tease them that they should just have a standing order on their account. There's no month their cars dont go to the mechanic. As for me, my Toyota yaris only visit Elizade for service every 5000km for the last 5yrs. I do not have a mechanic, have never stopped anywhere except to pump tire or buy fuel which by the way lasts almost 2weeks (to & from work. Why do u think banks abandoned Honda for Toyotas. Low maintenance cost & very fuel efficient. For a first car, u need something that wont weigh u down. Just my opinion (I am no car guru). |

mrjingles:channels news just confirmed 24hrs indefinite curfew in kano. It has to be major crisis for them to impose 24hrs curfew. Mr Beaf, are u sure u r not sent to mislead our ppl into coming out to get killed? Y is it that the north hates peace ??/ |
life_style:We dont challenge ourselves enuff. Me i knew all this from yrs ago when popsy was suffering frm prostrate cancer and alzeimer's. The only thing new to me here is dat it doesnt sour as fast but anyone who cooks with it should know that not a prof, |
Ishilove:I am not 100% sure, but i seem to recall that the accreditation took so long because they were sorting us either according to our fields or job function we applied for. Because a colleague of mine who studied geology wrote in another part of the school we wrote. I also seem to recall that their tests were a bit different from ours based on discussions afterward. I wish more ppl would respond to clarify this for u guys. Anyways good luck. |
boomii:@boomii, the last poster has summarised it. Thats exactly how i remembered it. If ur o'level is good, u should be able to scale it. One thing to note though, someone mentioned Phillips consulting is cordinating the test this yr, i cant remember if they were the ones that did it that yr, so confirm and find out what their tests are like. I wish u all the best. @eeguru, thanks for vindicating me oh! They were beginning to make me out as a frustrated liar. All d best in ur ptdf test. The good Lord will see us thru, amen! |
llade:I am sorry if i offended anybody by my post. The guy asked a question and wanted opinions. Eventually, he is going to make d decisions himself, unless it works out that he can do both. As for the person saying nnpc didnt do recruitment in 2008. Pls confirm ur facts again. Just google "nnpc recruitment 2008". u can even search nairaland or naijahotjobs to see the numerous forums/ threads that were created back then & since then to follow up. Infact, till this recent advert came out in december, i know some of us that were still hopeful that they would revisit that exercise. Why i described them as corrupt was because its the first and only time i have been approached immediately after an interview by a member of staff asking if i had an insider, and when i said no, offering me his fone number to call and discuss money b4 i could get the job. Right there inside NNPC towers while we were waiting for transport reimborsement. @ebeano 1, mayb i sound frustrated because i am frustrated , lol. who wouldnt be? U get a 2.1 in engineering and work as a marketer in the bank. And that interview was one of the best i ever had, so i was more than hopeful, Mr Poster, i wish u God's guidance as u make ur decision. @all, success in all ur pursuits. God bless us all, amen! |
llade:maybe u were not a staff of nnpc then or maybe u guys are now denying it. But i know what i know. and the young man asked for advice which he isnt forced to go either way. And that was why i asked him to commit his decisions to God. Just google nnpc recruitment 2008 and u will see the advert that came out in may 2008. the test was oct 2008 and the interviews in dec 2008. Search nnpc recruitment 2008 in this nairaland and u will see all the threads we have been using to keep up to date. Infact untill this current advert came out in 2010, alot of ppl were still hopeful that it will be revisited. here's a copy of d mail i received after d test, i have deleted my name and email for obvious reasons, 2008 NNPC Recruitment <2008recruitment@nnpcgroup.com> Mon, Dec 1, 2008 at 5:36 AM To: Reply | Reply to all | Forward | Print | Delete | Show original HR/MPR/GT33483 25th November 2008 Sir/Madam, INVITATION TO ATTEND INTERVIEW As a result of your success in the Aptitude Test conducted nation-wide on Saturday 25th October 2008, you are invited to attend an oral Interview. seunspice:I agree with u. i pay N9500 for premium and was informed that i'll be paying 10,300 henceforth. I have weighed d options, there are just no suitable alternatives. All those hitv, , a part frm football, other programs are nothing to write home abt. My neighbors had cmtv or something like that in PH here, everyday they quarrel with those ppl till they changed to dstv. My mum used to have ctl, she's now on dstv. The quality of their services is unbeatable. What we need in naija is quality alternatives. |
well i did nnpc test & interview in dec. 2008. They have now officially cancelled it. What excuse did they give? None!!! As an organisation, they are not serious at all and are highly corrupt. As for PTDF, i know alot of friends who have made it on merit. So if faced with the choice now, i will take ptdf. I have however committed my life & decisions to almighty God. Mayb thats y they didnt invite me for NNPC even though i met all d requirements. I will do d ptdf and hope for God's mercies. Tell ur friend to commit it to God. |
I am really wondering y someone called d movie classy. Like, did u really watch it? Its just a rubbish film like most nollywood movies. Even the name tells u it couldnt have been a serious movie. Y oge Okoye stoops so low to act such is beyond me. Anyways, its good advert for NL no doubt. will attract more traffic to NL and more money for Mr. Seun, |

if its for this saturday u r asking. then i guess its for IT positions. |
there are and have always been other forms of seasoning over time as have already been listed. I do not however appreciate d tone of ppl sounding like there's anything wrong in using western spices. The problem should be with processed spices. How convenient is it to store this local unprocessed seasoning? Our mothers/grandmas didnt work, so they had time to make & use all those natural stuff. They also make coconut/Kannel oil for body, tiro for make up, & herbs to cure malaria & stuff. when i want 2 give my family a treat, i go 2 market & shop for d natural stuff & cook well, but on a daily basis, i use maggi, curry, thyme, ginger, garlic, spice supreme & whatever i can use because 2moro na work, & i gotta sleep early, dont judge me based on dat! |
Hello landers especially those who wrote the last halliburton test on 11th june 2010 @ sasun hotel Portharcourt. An insider informed me that they have finished marking and are compiling a list to use in inviting people for the second test. Please, if you have have written this second test before kindly share what u know about it to help us in preparing. i havent been invited yet but am hopeful. God will bless u as u respond and help others. |
