chai your cuties are already sitting unaided, my baby is still learning to do that. Maybe for 3 seconds..
Yes o they just started last week, my mum came and said I've been pampering them cos I don't want them to fall that's why I don't leave them to seat so she started putting them and they were stable almost immediately.

Please start putting Oyin to seat.

My sister, u r the real MVP ooo... I lift my flat breasts for u ooo. U try to dey feed TWINS with breast?! Even my son that I'm breastfeeding alone I know wat my eyes are seeing not to talk of twins.
Back to the issue on ground, give breastfeeding a little break (I.e increase formula feeding for your twins or u express milk into feeding bottles). For the nipple, there's a cream (trying to remember the name, Lasinoh or something like that). U shd also examine ur breast to check for any unusual lumps. It's well...
How I wan do now dey must sha suck, I feel better now and I've started feeding them again though the down part feels hard don't know if I'll call it a lump. Thank you.

Sounds like mastitis, take ibuprofen for the pain and express or offer your babies the affected breast more so they can help you unclog the blocked duct. Or see your doctor as soon as possible.
Ok am. Thanks.

Breas.t? That's not good enough, stop breastfeeding them and go visit the clinic immediately.

Nipple.s? Dem bite you? Nipples pains can come due to bite or suck. It will go as they keep sucking. If its just the nipples, take vitamin c, or fruits rich in it like oranges, watermelon etc it will go in few hours.

Babies? Iya beji, ok dont allow two of them suck one breast concurrently. If one sucks from the left side, the other should suck the right when it's his/her turn. In a day, if Taiye sucks from the left breast, Kenny takes right when it get to his turn.
Thank you ma. It started with nipple pain o but now it's the entire breast and body pain join self.

hunniesuzie:
Breast? any hard lump there? See a doctor
Not lump but some parts feels engorged and painful. Thanks for your time.

giftdidi thanks a lot.

hi mama Zaynie and other mamas... So I went to make enquiry about fees at the school I want my 2 year old to attend in Sept... The school fees is about 150k termly excluding bus service but inclusive of lunch. .. Fees will be about 110k after first term...

So I was wondering if that's how much other mamas in Lagos spend on fees for toddlers huh
Do you think the school fees is reasonable? I checked another school with school fees of about 70k, but I don't think I really like school. .

I recently moved to Lagos...I stay at Ogudu, close to Ojota.... I am open to suggestions. ..

thanks as I anticipate your responses smiley
Berkly science magnet school in ogudu is very good but I don't know how much they pay sha.

Hello house, how do I get to Isalu hospital from ketu
Await ur response,pls
Thanks
It depends on where you are in ketu, if you are in ketu ikosi just take a bus going to ogba from toll gate drop at Sunday market on wempco road then trek down wempco road to Isalu.

Or you take bus to Berger, use the pedestrian bridge to the other side then board bus going to agege straight not agege ogba the drop at A.Y junction. Isalu hospital is at AY junction.

It varies o my son takes up to 100/120 at once while my daughter take more than 60/75mls though I started adding little Pap about two weeks ago and this Sunday I tried Gerber rice supported seater they took it too.

Sometimes they prescribe antibiotics back to back like this if the cough is caused by an infection and the first one doesn't clear up the infection. Last time we had cough, we went to a different hospital after Zinnat failed and they still another antibiotics which still didn't even stop the cough, tho it got much better. We finally just had to wait it out. What really helped while trying to wait it out was the piriton, I usually wait until around 11pm to administer it, that way it knocks her out for the night and everyone gets a few hour a of good sleep.

My baby is down with cough and catarrh again sef, started two nights ago so I already there would be no good sleep for anyone this week. Putting drops of silverbird oil around the pillows helps with blocked nostrils too.
I gave her the piriton about two hours ago and she still awake o don't know what to do again though the cough has reduced. Thanks ma'am.

Lilliesbud12:
Sorry about the cough episodes.. experiencing same with my dd of 3months too.

As for the Amoksiclav, try to use it for her. it worked for my son about 3.5 years ago when he had something like what you described & all other antibiotics seemed to fail. it was very effective within hours self
Thank you if it does not stop by tomorrow then we might have to use it.

hunniesuzie:
Does her chest seem congested? Don't know if palmoil and sugar is suitable for an under 6 month old. Zaynie?
I didn't even see this when I gave her palm oil and sugar few hours back and it seems to be working but she just won't sleep.
HealthRe: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by Bloomingbud(f): 4:30pm On Jul 02, 2018
My 5 months old has been coughing for almost two weeks now, we used neophyline, zinat and vitc yet she still can't sleep in the night at times she cough for 5 straight minutes and starts crying, I dread night night time cos there is no sleep for me day time is better a bit. I took her to the hospital yesterday and the doc prescribed tussylin, piriton, vitc and amoksiclav even though I explained that she just finished zinat now I don't know if she can take these drugs and the antibiotics won't be too much for her.
She was also nebulized so the catarrh reduced, I've been doing steaming for her and keeping her warm too.

WHAT WILL I DO ABOUT THIS COUGH MAKE UNA HELP ME.

completey:
My 4 months old son had the same symptoms and we were 4 days gone with the antibiotics given in the hospital when I saw my office doctor, he prescribed zinnat, vit c 5mls twice daily and actifed 2.5mls. 2 days into that the wheezing sound from the chest is gone and he is no more coughing. I just want to complete the 5 days dose to avoid recurrence. The dosage is given based on weight he is 8.1kg.
As we are in cold weather, we should try not to expose them too much.
Thanks for this if by Monday the cough is still there then we will see d doc again or do as I'm led cos I feel for him with cough.

Just as hunniesuzie said, pls go back to the hospital. It is most likely an infection. It will be treated with antibiotics
Thanks ma'am.
