The unemployment benefit can never replace real work in the sense that Unemployment benefits is like 1/3 of the real salaries you can earn when you have a real job.

A permanent welfare state requires huge taxes increases. Dont protest when they come to collect. The politicians said the want to cover q living wage. What they should focus on is fixing the structural issues with Nigerian economy. Look into tax reform, regulations and increading infrastructure spending.

There's no reason to complain endlessly without taking action. The simple thing to do is call your representatives and tell them to threaten impeachment. If they don't agree recall them. They have greater influence on their people than southern monarchs because it's a mixture of religion and culture.
