l0uie:Lol it will also make you harder to bully and extort. The government doesn't want you too independent now. |
Lol this guy has always been a crybaby its pathetic. This is pure victimhood complex and inferiority complex. This clown cried about road sign a few years.
|
DubaiLandLord:Lol you don't think the governors will hold then in jail indefinitely and abuse their political enemies? That's what we hear if they ran the police force. |
There's mixed feelings about state police and Decentralization in general. Some fear tyranny by the governor and others predict more effective policing. Do you believe prisoners will be treated better or worse under states? It does not make sense to have a state courts, prosecutors and laws then send someone to federal prison when the federal government had no case with the person in question. States are increasingly passing laws that are not federal crimes like banning alcohol and open grazing for example. Governors are demanding a police force but not their own prisons oddly enough. The responsibility and cost of enforcing all these regulations should be on jurisdictions prosecuting the case. Doing this will free up federal funds for priority criminals. Advocate500:Did the state courts shut down or did the prosecutors go on vacation?
|
Nbotee:You think fraudsters wont make IDs? BVN idk about. |
Nbotee:Open bank accounts, take loans and commit fraud using other peoples names. When it finally gets investigated the trail leads to someone other sucker. I'm sure some clever fraudsters could make use of this information and get scheming. |
signature2012:Lol their quit notice doesn't apply to these sort of people. |
adamsmith914:You're comment just got more foolish than before. You're literally reading complaints about mineral rights ownership and royalty payments and you're asking who's complaining. Why must your ask these irrelevant mumu questions in instead of presenting a counter argument? It could be recalled that Ekid Youths Union was the only body that represented Ekid in the constitution amendment public hearing of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 2020 when even the Ekid leadership could not represent the community thus Ekid being the only ethnic nationality in Akwa Ibom State that was not represented if not for Ekid Youths Union. The premiere Chairman of Eket sent words to the governor of Akwa Ibom State to return 13% Oil derivative to Oil Producing towns, as it is not money for the state, but the oil producing towns. |
adamsmith914:Your questions is stupid and irrelevant. If Anyone want the minerals to legally belong to them them instead of the government the constitution need to be amended. Reply with counter argument if you have a disagreement with anything I stated. |
Lol it belongs to you but they don't cut you royalty check with your name on it. If people were smart they would amend the constitution to take land and mineral rights ownership out of exclusive domain of the government. This is why you're a an occupier in land you own. |
Lol add Ortom to the list. The guys always barking with no bite. I will give him credit for his open grazing ban though. Take his recent comments against MACBAN and ask why hasn't he proscribed them if he thinks they're a criminal organization? Remember south east governors were the first to prescribe IPOB. |
fkj950ax:Lol you're correct even the finance minister admitted this obvious fact. Only mumus can't see this outcome coming. The Minister said, “Section 30 of the finance act designed to amend section 10, 31 and 14 of VAT is in relations to VAT obligations for non-resident digital companies and the mechanism that will be used is to restrict VAT obligations mainly to digital non-resident companies who supply individuals in Nigeria who can’t themselves self-account for VAT. |
ivolt:You'll need a constitutional amendment to eliminate joint accounts. The issue is the the state assemblies havs refuse pass it. Who knows if yours isn't among them. NFIU actually tracks local government fund as Buhari ordered. 1999 constitution: section 162 |
We just going to ignore bad economic policies and pretend Nigeria would turn into Wakanda. |
Lol they companies always pass the cost to the end user. Expect new fees at the end of your transactions. Smile knowing you're funding the government. |
Lol Abuja dirty because the people are dirty end of story. Abuja not bigger than Tokyo but Tokyo is much cleaner. If people aren't messy and there's decent sanitation services an increase in population doesn't matter. |
aribisala0:No you're just clown that didn't read past the headline take responsibility. The desert and geography topic was referenced in the original post so no need to remove it. You know north abd south are defined by their political boundaries for historical reasons. The headlines stays end of story. |
aribisala0:Ok the political north vs geographic north make no difference to the arguments I made. Second population is counted in states and states zoned via political boundaries thats the reality. Cuting the country in half and counting that way would get different results but thats not how its done. |
aribisala0:Lol you're blaming me because you can't read past the title before spouting nonsense? After all your foolish comments about geographic north vs South you had to finally admit the north isn't a desert like you first claimed. BTW I already explained in first paragraph the bigger population can only be found through a census. The point of the thread and title is to debunk idiots. How so you talking about population without addressing geography? Lol only a mumu thinks these facts can be divorced from each other. |
aribisala0:Geopolitical means political defined by geography. Northern Nigeria is defined by it being historically part of the northern protectorate. You're rambling like and like are being compared you see it on the map showing the yearly rainfall showing its not a desert. You see the river network showing the access to water. aribisala0:Lol why are you asking me what a desert is after emphatically stating the north is one? You should have a clue before doing that. The geographic north and south argument is irrelevant because the climate proves you wrong either way. |
aribisala0:Stop confusing yourself. Geopolitical regions are still places so you have to define the climate of those places by the rainfall if its a desert. Lol the north is not a desert. Dont be dense the north gets too much rain to be considered one. Desert and rainfall define geography and climate dont over think it. The title simply served click bait. You should learn to read past the headlines. Lol why are you asking me what a desert is after emphatically stating the north is one? You should have a clue before doing that. The geographic north and south argument is irrelevant because the climate proves you wrong either way. |
aribisala0:Lol your comment is nonsensical when its already proven the north no matter how you define it isn't a desert. I already explained what a desert is and gave you the avg annual rainfall of major northern cities and map showing avg rainfall across the country. You're projecting if you're claiming my thread is based on emotion when you didn't debunk on fact I presented just strawman arguments I never claimed. Geographical north is arguments is interesting but irrelevant when you know geopolitical regions are being discussed. |
Landlord97:Lol you guys are something else. Is northern Nigeria a desert to begin with? By this logic the places like cross river are supposed to be more populated because the receive more rain than Lagos. |
Ammishaddai:Lol the comments have been funny so far. Its surprising nobody wants to claim the northern population numbers are fake yet. |
babasolution:Alot southerners are uneducated, untraveled and lack basic common sense. Lol this desert north taking point has always been stupid. Lol one mumu has already proved this fact on this thread. LLiKYekoba:Lol what a foolish reply. You gave no counter arguments to anything mentioned. What do Igbos have to do with anything when we're talking about how much it rains in a year? |
Lol why kill yourself when you can just declare bankruptcy and be done with the whole affair. Nigeria doesn't have debtors prisons as far as I know. |
Certain people like to ask how can desert northern Nigeria be more populated that tropical southern Nigeria. That argument rest on two false premises that are easily be refuted with common sense or some basic research. Northern Nigeria isn’t a desert and most of Nigeria is tropical savannah. Nigeria also has extensive river system that can easily support its large population. Note none of this tells which population is larger at any given time that’s why the census is conducted. A desert is a place that gets less than 250 mm of rain per year. (Map below) Most of northern Nigeria is Tropical wet and dry climate type with semi-arid climate in the northern most parts of the northwestern and northeastern Nigeria. Only a sliver of Borno is desert at the border of Niger Republic. (Map below) List of major Northern cities and avg yearly rainfall: Kano, Kano – 674 mm Jos, Plateau - 1240 mm Ilorin, Kwara - 852 mm Abuja FCT - 1469 mm Kaduna, Kaduna – 998 mm Maiduguri, Borno – 466 mm Bauchi, Bauchi – 1122 mm Sokoto, Sokoto – 398 mm Yola, Adamawa – 624 mm Minna, Niger – 1161 mm Lafia, Nasarawa – 1061 mm Jalingo, Taraba – 602 mm Katsina, Katsina – 437 mm Mubi, Adamawa – 853 mm Makurdi, Benue – 983 mm Gombe, Gombe – 437 mm Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi – 467 mm Gusau, Zamfara – 577 mm Dutse, Jigawa – 638 mm Lokoja, Kogi – 1167 mm

It's weird how people support death penalty but don't ask does the state actually carry out these sentences. Recently Jigawa passed death penalty for rapist but im wondering why the celebration when they dont execute murderers. The state currently has 34 people on death row they haven't dealt. I will point out the law does incentive the rapist to kill the child. The only evidence of rape is the kid so get rid the evidence. You're already facing death without the option of life so it really wouldn't matter.

adamsmith914:It depends, fill me in on the details. Personally I dont see nothing wrong with being against the uniformed criminals. Wearing a government issued costume doesn't mean their actions suddenly become righteous. |
