That's a very simplistic way of looking at things. China's new found success is not based entirely on embracing western culture. Like the Japanese, they only embraced western education, specifically science and technology, but left significant parts of their cultures intact. While I agree that not all aspects of our culture is beneficial and should be done away with, it is our blatant hypocrisy and inferiority complex that irks me.
