Theflint1:Something wey be say dem dey rent police like say person hire bouncers nowadays. Just wait till next one or two weeks, U will start seeing I-just-Got-Back guys going everywhere with one or two gun-wielding Mopols which they paid for. My fear is while the president and IGP keep giving this order to withdraw Policemen from doing these unofficial police work; there are some ogas within the police force who make cool money from posting those policemen for such duties. If the IGP is not ready to dig down to find out his subordinate senior officers who arrange some of these things, nothing will really change |
izzou:He has enough assets that can offset the loan when push comes to shove. If they seize his helicopter and out it for sale, take over the head office here in on the island, sell the rights /license he has on the oil well his company manages and take over the subsidiary companies he run on the side, their money will complete. He may not be liquid enough to pay back now, but he definitely has assets way more than the loan amount which the banks can latch on to recover their money |
nairalanda1:If you don't know something u either ask people who do or ask google to get better understanding. Gani Adams was charged to court after spending over year in detention, he won his case fair and square at the Federal High court in 2006 prompting his release. Humor me, if a person wins his case due to FG being unable to prove the allegations against him in court, do u expect them to hold that person illegally like Buhari was known to do? |
nairalanda1:So after confronting u with fact, u decided to sprinke ur post with few emojis and begin talking off point like the author of the write up. Very typical. No more words for you. |
nairalanda1:How does this refute the fact that they were both arrested and kept in incarceration by Yoruba man who was president. Buhari was president and we saw how he patted criminals of northern origin on the back . We saw how Miyetti Allah and Fulani herdsmen held sway with repeated violence and nothing consequential really happened to them. |
nairalanda1:The leader of the OPC then was sentenced to prison for his crime. Show us where the killers of Deborah were sentenced to prison for their crime that was recorded on camera. |
This guy had to go back to early 2000's to talk about the OPC incident that was as a result of clashes between northerners and Yorubas. He clearly can't come up with any recent incident lime that when southerners just wake and start killing northerners in the name of jungle justice. People like this are pseudo-intellectuals who try to use the little intellect they have to twist facts and draw false equivalence like he's doing. These people just won't take responsibility for their obvious and continuous mess up. He has forgotten that over 50 senior Muslim lawyers of northern origin defended the killers of Deborah in court. Maybe that's not an evidence enough to show they do actually justify killings over there |
izzou:The guy would've rotted away in prison on awaiting trial. Once the magistrate orders his remand that day and adjourn a later date, e don be for the guy be that. The IPO will not go to court again and the magistrate to adjourn the case for a long time while he remains in Custody. Omo, If Naija police wan deal with person with vindictiveness na only God or higher connection fit save person o. |
izzou:This is very true and accurate. I know someone whom police something similar to recently. He bought a stolen phone from a lady without suspecting any foul play; he then sold same phone to another third party because he deals in buying and selling phones at Ikeja. Owner of the phone tracked the phone to the new owner who mentioned our guy as the seller, when our guy was arrested, he also mentioned the lady as the person he bought phone from without knowing it is a stolen phone. Despite police confirming the lady was the original thief, they still held the guy and asked for 800k as bail money. When the guy's family couldn't provide the money, they summarily charged him to court on the Friday of that week with the hope of punishing him severely. The guy was saved by a stroke of luck; his mum came from Church to courtroom wearing her celestial garment. The magistrate had earlier saw the guy's mum within the premises and greeted her "Halleluyah o" as a typical celestial herself. When the case was read and she saw same woman on her garment in her court room, she was immediately interested in the case. When she read the case filed by the police IPO, it claimed the guy was the one who stole the phone which is untrue. The guy was given audience by the magistrate to state his case after which the magistrate lambasted the police IPO for his dishonesty and attempt to frame the guy for a crime which they already caught the culprit. The magistrate discharged and acquitted him that Friday afternoon and he didn't a dime. |
TrebleChamp:I didn't say it's not a good move, but we are saying they've been announcing this same thing for a while now. Let's hope they will effect it once and for all this time around. Ordinary MC Oluomo has a number of policemen attached to him even when he was Lagos state chairman of NURTW, now imagine the amount of policemen he would have at his disposal now that he is the national president. |
izzou:Don't mind them, let them keep feeding the cub of a lion till it turns into Simba in their very eyes. Imagine someone asking me to Gumi is inciting; someone who encourages ransom payment when the Government preaches the exact opposite. Someone who keep shouting his voice hoarse that government should stop going on the offensive against the terrorist because according to him they are freedom fighters and his brothers. Someone who even justifies kidnapping of kids as bargaining chip for ransom payment. Nothing wey the guy never do to whitewash image of terrorists while talking down on government's effort to deal with the criminals with force. I just don't know how a normal human being will continue to stan someone like that and claim he is only talking nonsense but not inciting . Omo! nothing person no go see for here sha. |
izzou:Since this president took office in 2023, they have ordered this withdrawal of police from VIP several times. The IGP don order like 2 or 3 times and now the president is ordering same. Funny thing is by this weekend if u go to parties, u will still see Mopol attached to some VIPs that will either help them carry bag or stand behind them throughout duration of their stay at the party. I wonder who has been approval those postings. |
You no go cry keh? ![]() Your pain is eternal my guy! You are always here fooolishly defending the government and political appointees even when they are clearly in the wrong. Even when we show you hard irrefutable facts, you will still carry strong head to be yapping nonsense and talking out of points. Only a dumb person who has sublet his reasoning faculty will leave the present leadership of the country that has driven the country into a comatose state and be criticizing the member of opposition not in power. The job of the opposition is to counter the inadequacies of the incumbent government and that is the business we will continue to stand on. If you are displeased with that, u can donate ur eyes to scientist for research for all I care. |
afrodoc2:Aswear. And other trolls dey follow lap everything he throws at them to be defending on his behalf |
Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, has threatened to take legal action against human rights lawyer, Malcolm Emokiniovo Omirhobo, over what he described as defamatory allegations capable of inciting religious tension in Nigeria. This is Gumi on November 6th 2025 threatening to sue a senior lawyer who called him for supporting terrorism and urging government to investigate & prosecute Gumi. Human rights lawyer, Malcolm Emokiniovo Omirhobo, has refused to apologise to Kaduna-based Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, after being given a 24-hour ultimatum to withdraw his comments that called for Gumi’s investigation. The lawyer doubled down on his position on Gumi by further refusing to retract his earlier statement urging Gumi to go to court if he feels his comments are defamatory(which they are not). Today is 24th November and Gumi is yet to make his way to court to sue the lawyer. But one clown here says Gumi would sue us for calling Gumi what he is. |
monerozi5590:I don't have time to waste on u any further. Carry on with whatever nonsense u believe, I can't continue to fetch water in a basket. It is well with u. |
monerozi5590:This Ur weak attempt at gaslighting me won't work. I'm not about God tart repeating our conversation here when anybody can look up Ur stand on Gumi from past few pages of this thread. You called me a liar for stating what Gumi is and what his opinion represents ( giving full blown support to banditary and terrorism with his full chest). Whether u called his opinion nonsense or not, it's none of my concern. That you can boldly claim he's not doing anything wrong even after I showed u several instances of him acting and talking in contrast to the position of government in combating terrorism tells me all I need to know about Ur affectation of the man's ways. |
monerozi5590:I can't help u see what U chose not to see urself. Someone who claims Fulani terrorists kidnap children to make money is not inciting shebi? Someone who ask us not to vote for politicians who will bombard terrorists because they are his brothers is not inciting enough àbí? The same person who says citizens shouldn't take duly elected executive governors serious because they oppose the nonsense amnesty deal he was proposing for his "clients"? Maybe you don't even know there's a law against anybody aiding and abetting terrorists in this country sef.🤷♂️ The only reason Ur guy Gumi is walking as a free man today is because FG refused to enforce the law against him for reasons best known to them.
|
afrodoc2:Nigeria na comedy show Sha. Imagine the kind word wey dey come out of IGP mouth. Make everybody just hold their side well well and hope tbey won't be victims of these terrorists o, because Justice will never be served under this government wey we dey so |
monerozi5590:Dey play! This was Gumi as at 16th November 2025.
|
monerozi5590:I shouod disregard the opinion of Gumi who has repeatedly claim he acts with expressed permission of the Federal government? Do u even see the number of northern social media voices that lap up to his talking points? Even 2 days ago, this same u was here with ripped top like Hill Hogan defending him with Ur full chest. |
Payporte01:Chai! Naija yahoo boys....😂dem no send anybody. They used the COVID 19 make crazy money back then in 2020, now they are using Gaza to chop another round. More like they are always the major beneficiary once there's a major new development in the global economy. |
“The herdsmen are not like IPOB, they are kidnapping children to make money, let’s be fair with them.” – Sheik Gumi
|
Ibunkun1:That yahoo thing is an endemic amongst Nigerian youth nowadays. You will see boys of 16--18 years of age talking about collecting and redeeming Apple gift card, sending cash app tags to Maga and bathing soap for cash out. Sometimes I over hear them at barber's shop when I go to cut my hair. I can't but wonder what the future will be when cyber security further advances and makes it almost impossible for any of their scams to go through any more. |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:The inspector General of Police claimed they didn't arrest the terrorists because they came out themselves for peace talk 🤡🤡🤡 |
iamoyindamola: |
Segedinho:Are u using VPN? If u use VPN, it will show the country of origin of the IP Ur VPN is using |
Ibunkun1:One weyrey has been posing as IDF soldier on Twitter. A lot of people have been telling him " Thank you for your service". Dem Don unmask the weyrey say na Nigeria he dey 😂 |
Na arsenal win, na Chelsea fans dey cook agenda for each other 😂😂😂😂 |
raumdeuter:The guy just dey write fallacy. Shey those terrorists killing people in the middle belt and burning down rice farms are Middle belt natives too? When Olu Falae was kidnapped and had his farm destroyed in Ondo state, was it Ondo indigenes that kidnapped him and wreak havoc on his farm or Fulani terrorists? The various people that have been kidnapped while traveling on the express have revealed they were attacked by Fulanis. Gumi is just trying to deflect attention off Fulanis because there's been so much focus on Fulani terrorists since Trump designated Nigeria as a country of concern.. |
This new feature of Twitter that allows users see location of other users will really expose Yahoo boys, catfishes, and people who have lied about being abroad but are somewhere in Ikorodu 😂
