raumdeuter:I think there is more to the presence of those Asians in the North. The word on the street is that those guys may be the ones fueling insecurity . From what I know about the Niger Delta, if u like get 20 armed bodyguards if those boys want to kidnap for ransom, they will do that. And they did kidnap a lot of expats throughout the period of agitation. I think that the Asians are moving around freely over there definitely means they have some kind of arrangement with the gun wielding bandits. |
raumdeuter:The should test Chelle's blood for marijuana honestly . |
raumdeuter: ![]() Spy360 theory |
raumdeuter:People like Spy are on Channels Youtube page typing "FREE MNK " in the comment section. ![]() |
afrodoc2:Na STEM. Iamoyindamola shebi na Chemistry ur guy Spy360 dey handle ![]() |
raumdeuter:Of course, anything to secure release of the girls is welcome. I was only pointing it out that for the man to boldly claim the girls will be released soon, he must have been in touch with the kidnappers and they are getting ready to meet their demands. |
afrodoc2:Sowemimo years later explained what he meant by his hands being tied. He said because he will sentence the young co-defendants with Awolowo, there was no way he would allow Awolowo walk. He said his hands are tied because letting Awolowo walk with a slap on the wrist sentence will be injustice. But u are right, it was a political case and one side of the divide would always claim the judge was unfair |
Spy360:I didn't say "not guilty" and I didn't say "guilty". I am neither a judge nor a lawyer; I do not have enough legal training to know if he is guilty or not. The lawyers who would've helped him he declined their help. So let the judge who is an authority over such matters decide whether he is guilty or not. |
Spy360:I don't think he is guilty, I think he is foooolish. The judge will decide if he is guilty or not. Well, he has made noise like the chicken in ur analogy, let's wait to see if his protest matter in the general scheme of things or not. |
Spy360:What does this even mean? ![]() They should let him go because Spy360 says so? Initially you claimed he was discharged and acquitted, now that u know he wasn't acquitted u switch to asking why they didn't let him go . U are funny aswear. You see why I ask u to follow the judgement like I'm currently doing on Channels live stream? The Judge has already quoted relevant case laws that the manner of his rendition doesn't affect the trial in any way. He didn't put in defense despite having several opportunities to do so. He has laid his bed, the judge will soon make him lie on it. It's only a matter of time. Stay Jiggy! |
Spy360:Who says I'm bothered? I passed a commentary that with the way things are going he will be sentenced to prison because he chose not to use legal counsel but chose to be acting drama in the court room. How does that translate to me being bothered he is throwing away his lifeline? ![]() |
Spy360:This matter has been treated already. Appeal court discharged him but did not acquit him. The appeal court ruled on a single issue of rendition and discharged him on the basis that his rendition was illegal. FG appealed that decision at the supreme court and the supreme court overturned the decision of the appeal court. You can check and confirm this urself. |
Spy360:No, I'm not. I'm saying he didn't make an attempt to defend himself after telling the court he would be doing so without the help of his lawyers. He discarded the advice of the judge and that of his legal counsel. He then proceed to be unruly in court without actually putting up a defence. If he had allowed his lawyers do their jobs, he may have a chance by them presenting a superior argument to that of the prosecution team. He has thrown away his chance of presenting his case like a reasonable and civil person. Whatever judgement the court passes today, Kanu deserves it for how he has conducted himself |
izzou:Buhari messed up on all fronts; that's why I just shake my head when I see people trying to whitewash him. |
izzou:I also have issues with how Buhari held him for long without convicting him. The whole thing made it look like he was being persecuted when in fact he is supposed to be made to answer for his crime of inciting violence and destabilizing the eastern part of the country. |
Spy360:I think u should try and follow the judgement on Channels TV Live streaming on Youtube. The judge alleged this man refused to call defense witness who would have made his defense strong. How can he refuse to open defence and then turn around to claim the court is bent on declaring him guilty ? Let me tell u the truth; Kanu is showing signs of madness with how he has handled this case. |
izzou:For where? The judge even begged him to use counsel of senior lawyers like Kanu Agabi, he declined. The fact that he was always unruly in court sef will count against him. |
Things are not looking good for Kanu going by what the Judge is reading. The guy will most likely be sentenced to chop beans anytime soon. |
izzou:LI will gladly will chop the money and always keep him updated till final day of POP. I know person wey do am, the guy no serve for one day like this. Dem even call his name before us when we were collecting discharge certificate. ![]() |
MorataFC:Yeah, countries like India and other countries that have never qualified for FIFA tournaments will definitely consider participating, but countries like Nigeria that have won FIFA age grade competitions and even played at the senior world cup wella, we will be isolating ourselves if we attempt to participate. Even the grants we get from FIFA to build stadiums and improve our grassroots football will disappear into thin air |
MorataFC: ![]() If this is real, I'm sure FIFA will ban any country that decides to participate in this alternative world cup such that they won't be able to participate in future FIFA tournaments. Nigeria will be fooolish to make themselves party to Russia's agitation that has nothing to do with us. |
reccy:I learnt they closed Kwara state NYSC camp . You know the camp in Kwara is located at Patigi which is one of the areas being terrorized by bandits/terrorists in recent times. I think the major reason they don't want to put a stop to the scheme is because of the various vendors get contract to supply NYSC kits, food items in NYSC camp, etc. Those people are powerful and will lobby at the highest level of government for the scheme to continue irrespective of the security situation in the country. I aways advise anybody who doesn't fancy the idea of serving in far away states with insecurity issues to liaise with their LI or ZI to share their allawee while they ghost the scheme. Na only person wey survive after service year go fit think of his future o. |
Ballzproblemm: That's a fair result considering Burnley will be playing at home. Your dream is not that bad jare my guy. |
Spy360:Do you think Judges pronounce judgement based on agitations or emotions of the accused/defendant? Shouting on top of his voice or accusing the judge of being compromised would not make the judge release him if he has a bad case. (which I think he does) Only a lawyer can explore the loopholes in the charges against him and use those loopholes to put up a defense for him. His opinion about Omotosho won't matter if he is sentenced to prison because of his bad case. Even if he appeals, the appeal court will most likely affirm the lower court's judgement if he continues to fooolishly agitate for himself instead of getting a good lawyer to argue his case. |
Spy360:So you think it is wise for him not to use a lawyer? |
iamoyindamola:It is not always advisable for a man to defend himself without the aid of a lawyer. Even Awolowo that was a lawyer who chose to defend himself at his trial over an attempted coup, ended up getting sentenced to prison despite putting up a good show. |
GloriousGbola:Exactly! These people reject education and would even kidnap students from schools to drive home their point , but here is Gumi saying it is lack of education that is responsible for their violence. He also claims their lack of employment contributed to them embracing terrorism. We all know animal husbandry/herding is a profession in most parts of the world. Instead for their elites who have made money in business and politics to assist them in practicing modern livestock farming through ranching, they are busy blaming government and choosing to destroy means of livelihood of farmers and other law abiding citizens. Honestly, people like Gumi needs to be drilled and investigated to really understand the motive behind some of these reckless statements he keeps making to justify terrorism. |
ouzo1:When I was raving about how average that guy is, it looked as if I had personal agenda against him. Our Patrotic Nigerians said he is the only Nigerian playing AM for a top club in all of Europe, so he deserves to be in that team. Just look at his poverty stats |
Ibime:Dem supposed carry that Chelle go Yabaleft go test him brain. He's talking about juju when Congo pressed Super eagles like breaast for complete 45 minutes of second half and 30 mins of extra time. ![]() |
izzou:They will most likely sentence him today if they are transmitting it live. Or what do u think? |
“Our herdsmen are suffering from lack of education and Unemployment. Select 10 people and keep them with the cows leave them without communicating with the outside world, come back after one year, they will start behaving like the cows.” - Sheikh Gumi
So this man claims because herdsmen lack education, that's why they go about attacking other law abiding citizens and wreaking havoc? So what about the uneducated people down south? Do they go about carrying RPGs and automatic assault rifles like the Fulani herdsmen are doing? This man just dey bring dumb arguments to defend terrorists and he thinks he is making sense. |
