izzou:Those people are just shameless. |
Semid4lyfe wetin dey sup with Cloudflare? Hope we are safe ? |
The different factions of PDP are busy using their respective security agents to attack each other in Abuja. Shame! 🤮 https://x.com/imranmuhdz/status/1990730732902236267?s=46 |
afrodoc2:In my opinion I think if Saka was going to play for naija, he would likely get an assurance he will be playing as a right side winger and not LB. So whether Olise comes along or not, the coach will not attempt to play him LB except in a match we need to see off with a slim goal margin and the coach instructs everybody to play defense. In that case, he would be joining the defense to carry out community defense. When Saka was playing make-shift LB at Arsenal like 5 years ago, he was always vocal about his dream to play primarily as a winger. I'm sure he would not even accept a national team callup that may result in him being deployed primarily as LB. |
Emaprince:The bold is so me. I no fit dey hide to dey converse on my own device; If u send me message and I choose not to reply, I will read it and u will know I didn't respond. If u upload status, I will view it and u will know I did. It makes no sense running incognitio mode like say I dey fear u. If I don't want to have anything to do with u, I will rather block u straight and sharp! I no dey hide anything like say I borrow money to buy phone & data. U no fit beat me on top my own device |
Emaprince:I understand ur sentiments, but make men sef dey check and balance their spouse well well before making a lifetime commitment. It seems the man knew about the lady's past relationship with the man before marriage. He most likely dismissed it not knowing she's still hooked with the man. |
Emaprince:I always have issues with people who have disappearing message setting activated on their whatsapp. To me if you are not a fraudster or someone who lives in constant fear of his secrets being exposed by a third-party going through his chat history, I don't see any reasonable reason for using disappearing message settings. I sincerely hope people who do will not get in serious trouble that only chat history can exonerate them. |
izzou:The thing just be like make an artiste don make 100's of recorded music and years after the artiste's demise, those recordings are being released on yearly basis as different albums. |
izzou:We are witnessing 2014 all over again but we've not seen master strategist employing any strategy to quell the raging fire of terrorism that seems to be threatening the fragile peace we enjoyed in ghe past.
|
GloriousGbola:And if u speak to them this, they will say u can't change the way they choose to live their lives. See someone like Bashir already dog whistling that the USA or any other external or internal forces cannot make them jettison Sharia and how it is being practiced in Northern Nigeria. |
iamoyindamola:This is what we still spoke about yesterday concerning all these proposal and putting woman under pressure for marriage. See her claiming she just accepted his proposal despite having someone she was still actively dating. Before a man goes about proposing marriage he needs to cross his T's and dot all i's in this age and time, lest he marries someone whose heart is elsewhere. For this man's sake I hope everything is a skit sha. |
TemporaryHansel: ![]() Are u serious about the bolded? Like u won't chat ur partner and would only speak on phone ? Lolz. Wait till u get married fess, u will be chatting ur wife in the room while u are the parlor |
CrystalTiger:These people are not even hiding their face sef. Funny thing is if u ask them what exactly is it they are fighting for, u won't be able to make any sense out of their demands. We all know that since the Niger Delta militants got amnesty from Federal government for fighting aginst environmental degradation and the dangers crude oil expose host communities to , Northerners have been yarning to have such olive extended to them. That is the mindset of people Like Gumi; he believes government needs to "settle" these terrorists for peace to reign. The thing is how do u settle people who have ideological beliefs and religious extremism fanning their fight against the state ? How do u justify settling people whose goal is to forcefully convert others to their brand of extremist religious intolerance and want every decision of the state to revolve around them? Gumi would claim they are not educated, don't have access to basic social amenities and that the government owe them a great deal of benevolence. One cannot but wonder where such crazzzy thought is coming from because there's literally free/cheap education available to anybody that has interest in this country. How do u claim someone doesn't have access to basic social amenities but he has enough money to buy Automatic Assault refiles and some RPG? I agree with the legal briefing of the new INEC chairman in which he linked these terrosists' actions to the Uthman Dan Fodio Jihad which led to the same Fulanis conquering Hausa kindgoms and taking possession of their land in process. Except the FG does something, we might see these people attempt the 1804 conquest with modern arms and ammunitions if care is not taken. |
afrodoc2:Saka will never play LB for Nigeria, he will rather play Olise's position or not play at all. Abeg commot Ndidi there before I open my eyes egbon. ![]() |
raumdeuter:This is a very valid argument. This is why we see teams like Cape Verde, Morroco packed with foreign talents giving people a run for their money when it comes to African football in recent time |
DissTroy:I agree to the fact that when woman is scorned she can go to any extent to mess the man up and I also agree that evidence is needed by the man shield himself from any vengeful accusation. What I don't really find necessary is a man announcing to the world that another man slept with his wife like that guy did on facebook. Na still him go live with the shame and even his kids might not be spared when they become teenagers and their peers make them butt of joke because of that post their father made about their mother. |
DissTroy:Baba, I dont think it's worth the hassle. If somebody 4cks ur wife, na to just move on, cut off the wife by making sure she doesn't have access to any benefits she enjoyed as ur wife, carry out DNA to confirm the kids are urs and if possible try to take custody of the kids confirmed as urs. No need making psosts like what that man did ; it will expose u to ridicule in the court of public opinion. If anybody wants to have details of why u divorced ur wife, let them ask her and let her use her mouth explain her shameful attitude. For example look at what NeduWazobiaFM's wife was saying after their marraige failed and it was confirmed she actually slept with someone else resulting in pregnancy before marriage. She was the one that was fooolishly explaining how she didn't tell Nedu she was pregnant and Nedu assumed the child was his. She sounded fooolish and everyone till date still see her for who is. |
afrodoc2:Gumi's father was an Islamic cleric, one of the first set of people funded by Saudi I think to spread Wahabism in Nigeria. I saw a Twitter thread last week about his father and how the movement he founded was linked to Maitastine group. Somebody really to hold torchlight to check that Gumi family honestly. |
GloriousGbola:So what do u think is the one at out? Bear in mind that we have minority non extremists in the north who may not necessarily subscribe to Sharia ; what will be their fate if we say the country should be split across regions into different smaller countries? |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:These people place politics above every other things...... I guess we all have to ensure our own security personally lest one is added to the growing list of victims of terror attacks |
GloriousGbola:If the government doesn't make a move to silence the voice of people like Gumi who hold serious influence, nothing will change. He even has a son who is a commissioned officer in Nigeria army whom I believe must also subscribe to the same ideology as his father. How does the country defeat terrorism like this? Look at Shettima the VP too, he doesn't strike me as a person who believes in government pounding Islamic terrorists. His association with some of them in the past doesn't paint him in good light at all. I don't know how Tinubu will do it, but he needs to do something and it should be fast before Kwara, Kogi and Ondo are overrun because when that happens even the Lagos he comes to for festivities won't be safe for us all. |
izzou:The thing about air travel is u just have to zero Ur mind and hope everything goes as planned. The number of times I've flown in the last 2 years, I've lost my fear for altitude. I think the uncertainty on the road also contributed to me swallowing my fear. The thing is to ignore some of those fairly unpopular airlines and do more of airlines like ValueJet who have good reviews from their customers. I understand Ur business requires u to follow the products u supply via road ; I pray God will continue to grant u safe journey even in these terrible times. 🙏 |
GloriousGbola:This is what we have been saying bro. The late mailafia made allegations about Miyetti Allah being accessories to the terrorism and insecurity happening in the north back then. Our state security didn't allow him rest after then, they kept inviting him asking him to come and substantiate his claims. They drilled the man till he breathed his last. Today Gumi makes inflammatory statements at will; statements that appear as if he's the official spokesperson of the terrorists and yet he's allowed free entry and free exit to Nigeria. Just last week Gumi went on a media round within and outside the country. He went to Turkiye and was taking a pro-terrorist stand in his media rounds. He came back to the country last week and even led jumat prayers on Friday in Kaduna. Why is he still a freeman? Why is the government not reining him in? Baba, I know say u are pro-BAT but I must tell u say Ur guy dey 4ck up with the way they continue to let characters like Gumi give this government bad PR. I know Tinubu is not an Islamic extremist like most Southwest Christians, but he needs to match his personality with action. He needs to set aside political correctness aimed at winning 2027 elections aside and deal with extremist northerners like Gumi. They are giving his government bad PR and it's not just about us Nigerians, foreigners see these things. I work with expatriates daily and I can boldly tell u they follow Nigerian news more than some of we Nigerians do. The kind opinion some of them have about us, it's not something I wish to share on this space. Ur guy needs to look beyond 2027 politics and take a hard stand against characters like Gumi. |
izzou:Afrodoc is right, na u get mind pass for this thread. I have declined several invites for ocassions outside Lagos and ogún state since Buhari's first term. Ever since my childhood friend's mum died from gunshot wound while traveling along Ondo-Akure road during Buhari's tenure, I've had serious trauma entering the express going beyond dem Mowe-Ibafo. We have so many underpoliced or completely un-policed space on federal roads traveling through this country. The whole idea of hoping for a safe journey when u know terrorists can come out of anywhere in the bush just doesn't sit down well with me. When I saw Tinubu reacting to that Pa Fasoranti daughter's death and was asking "where are the cows?", I knew the common man is in his own. Na since that time I decided to give myself brain ; cos of dem kill person na semantics politicians and their supporters go dey play on while that person's dead body lies cold in the mortuary |
afrodoc2:This particular incident adds a serious psychological fuel to the insurgency issue in the north and the entire country at a large. I mean if terrorist can intercept communication of the army to take out a general, what is the fate of civilians who assist the military with intelligence report on the activities and movement of th terrorists? Won't those civilians feel safer sharing Intel with terrorists than the military who can't even protect their own? There are far reaching implications of what just happened o |
Theflint1:Who will do this for them? Is it their leaders that are busy wearing Tinubu cap? Is it the APC who is from Plateau state or SGF George Akume from Benue or the reverend father Governor who is more interested in playing politics than standing for his people? |
izzou:It just seem there's no will power to really fight terrorism in this country. The judiciary doesn't fast track terrorism cases like they do electoral petition matters. Maybe because there's no prospect of judges becoming billionaires through terrorism cases, that's why they don't give it as much prompt attention as they would give a governorship or senatorial election court case. Then we have governors of states like Borno and Yobe who would fight tooth and nail to use their influence have captured boko Haram members "rehabilitated" and either reabsorbed into the society. If just seem as if only the common people want terrorism to end while the political class and security agencies are not really invested in it like that. |
Ellexy:Jonathan too didn't cover himself in glory with the way his government fared too back then. He surrounding himself with elements like Reno and co didn't help communicate the efforts of his government to the people |
Payporte01:This is what i love to see; support terrosists by branding them freedom fighters; A month after, have Ur own blood taken out by the same people u celebrated as "freedom fighters" |
Segedinho:How's it that these guys can register and operate social media accounts? They still have access to internet even in the middle of nowhere. Are they using starlink or which Nigerian telecoms provider has coverage in the bush where these terrorists have their camps? There are a lot of obvious questions that have continued to be unanswered in this so called fight against insurgency |
Omo, these terrorists even film themselves ambusing and executing Nigerian soldiers 💔 https://x.com/trigottista/status/1990465141498884576?s=46 Now they are releasing compilation video as propaganda to even recruit more fighters. Our leaders have actually slept on a keg of gun powder for a long time. Goodluck to anybody still traveling to the north via road o. This insecurity is now worse than before |
Emaprince:This particular brigadier general story no clear at all. There's definitely something fishy about how the military is prosecuting this war against insecurity. |
