TemporaryHansel:The difference between black market and filling station price is like day and night. You will buy 568 at NNPC , 630 or thereabouts at MRS and black market like 1,000 to 1,200 per liter. If u want to buy like 50 liters, you will buy for N28,400 at NNPC, N31,500 at MRS and N60,000 at black market. Nobody will teach you patience , u will just have it ; especially if it is weekend when u are not going to work. |
Jodera:Xhaka after a poor performance in our game vs Crystal Palace told the fans to 4ck off(because they booed him after a poor performance), Pulled off his Arsenal Jersey(as a captain o) , threw his shirt on the floor and went straight to the tunnel after being subbed off. If Arteta and Edu are whom u are trying to paint them up there, I don't they would've worked with Xhaka at all. In fact, Arteta would've binned him immediately he was appointed as manager after Emery left. Guess what? that same Arteta managed Xhaka and turned him to a player the fans grew to love once again. Make una no dey pain these people like some African elderly parent that will bittch-slap u for even arguing with them. Areta is a professional, the players are professionals as well; they understand things can get heated and players can get over their own head. All these talk about red flags, why is it coming up only when Osimehn an African player is involved. Even Suarez wey dey bite people played for top managers till he moved to MLS.

Theflint1:The policy does not make sense in a country where ASUU strike can take two years of ur life , waiting for NYSC can take one year and prospective employer will be looking to employ graduates not above the age of 25. I want to believe after a lot of cries the FG will fold as usual and the policy will never be implemented. |
[quote author=iamoyindamola post=131726983]Imagine saying we get this kind man like 50 naija go get hope See people the man is fighting for still they beg the man to allow the Hilux pass see the bolded, that's the major problem we have in Nigeria. Those people begging him to allow the hilux pass are the typical average Nigerians; they exhibit that character in every facet of life. They are always willing to let people with bad behavior get away with it without thinking of the effect it has on others. Recently I was at a filling station on queue to buy fuel after spending close to 3 hours on the slow-moving queue. I was just like 3 to 4 vehicles from entering the filling station when one lady who was on an illegal parallel queue just attempted to join the queue in the front. That was how one finished man allowed her to enter when the queue moved. Everyone behind this ediiot were furious , but the man was saying we should chill that she's just a lady na. Omo, I've never felt that much anger before. The crazy thing was that just while I was about driving in, the manager of the filling station asked them to lock the gate and not allow any car drive in again. They want to sell for only those within the premises and stop selling. I had to struggle to drive in before they locked the gate o. The cars behind me weren't lucky simply because the yeye man allowed someone not on queue initially join the queue; and others not on queue seized the opportunity as well. |
mostob:Tell us what Auba did. And tell us if Osimehn has acted in such manner to any of his club coaches. I dislike the fact that u can't point out any single incident where Osimehn has been found wanting as a professional in his club sides ; but yet you keep questioning his professionalism. So u think if Arsenal signs Osimehn he will be a plan B ? ![]() I don't even think you watch Osimehn well enough going by ur claim up there that aside for his presence in the box, there's nothing else to write home about him. For your information, Osimehn is well known for his presence in the box, his athleticism, strength, directness, runs into space, eye for goal and linkup play. Maybe u should take some time to watch his clips sha |
I watched a video of Merino answering questions on Arsenal tiktok and I was surprised how fluent his English. It was from the comment section I was now seeing that he was at Newcastle around 2017; even at that I'm still surprised at how clear his English. His English clear pass Arteta own sef. I guess that's a plus for the team since he speaks English he won't have issues communicating with teammates. |
mostob:If u had said U want a wide forward to be signed instead of a CF it would’ve made sense . Instead you claimed a player who scored 65 league goals in 108 matches as “not prolific “ . You claimed he has attitude issues because of one single incident he had with the coach of his national team. How do u judge a player by one single incident in which he was provoked by reports about what the coach said about him in the media ? The fact that u have confirmed he didn’t have any issues with any of his club coaches is enough to trash the “attitude “ point u’ve been mouthing all day. If Arsenal decides to sign him , I will say he’s 100% welcome . If we decide to sign another striker I’m perfectly fine with that as well. But maligning him And claiming he’s not an upgrade from Gabriel Jesus who is not known for scoring goals is what I just find funny |
mostob:The only valid concern is the injury concern ; any other point u mentioned are moot points. A striker that misses chance a lot scored 26 goals in a season to win golden boot. Do u even know how u sound ? 😂 When last did Gabriel Jesus score 20 goals ? Attitude kor, Verbal reasoning ni |
mostob:You are running away and deflecting from the crux of the matter . Is Osimhen hot headed than Xhaka who made gestures at Arsenal fans right there on the pitch ? Did Arteta not manage Xhaka and turn him to the fan’s favorites once again? You boldly claimed a player who won a golden boot in a major league in Europe is not a prolific striker . What further evidence does one need to confirm u just don’t like him ? Have u provided any evidence that he’s had issues with his coaches in any of the teams he’s played till date ? Victor Ikpeba called him out and he asked him to shut up. Players like Ronaldo, Messi , Zlatan, etc have at different times told their critics to STFU. I don’t see anybody use it to judge their footballing ability . |
mostob:It is not my opinion that Osimehn is a prolific striker , it is a fact. The Golden boot he won in Serie A is an evidence of that fact. Just say u don’t like Osimehn and stop beating around the bush . Osimmehn told Finidi he was not fit and needs to continue rehabilitation so he won’t be able to feature in the match vs South Africa. Osimhen then opted to stay in Camp just to motivate his fellow players . When Finidi was doing a presser and was asked about Osimehn not starting the South African match , Finidi threw him under the bus by saying he can’t force osimhen to play for super eagles . That statement painted Osimehn as being fit but not wanting to play for the team . He lost his cool and reacted brashly by doing that live video; an action he later regretted . Stop making it seem like Osimehn is some troublesome player who is always having issues with his coaches . Ives asked u to bring evidence that Osimehn was having issues with his coaches in Lille, Wolfsborg and Napoli but I don’t bring any. Just say u don’t like Osimehn. Xhaka that was really really hot headed , Arteta managed him . |
uvie66:There’s nothing like that in the section 7 of the act. If u believe otherwise, please post a screenshot of that section here |
LadyExcellency:U can’t prosecute someone for a crime they have not committed . |
Lmao ![]() Make una free these guys, they were just being stupiddd after being deceived by a fake herbalist. I wonder what crime they will charge them for under the criminal code. |
mostob:I don't even understand the point u are trying to make. Everybody has been asking Arteta to sign a striker who can actually score goals; here is Osimhen who has scored goals enough to win him golden boot in an elite league in Europe and suddenly he no longer fit the profile of a quality striker. How? Explain. If ur concern is about injury, that is a genuine concern which everybody shares about him. I repeat again, none of our current striker options is as good as Osimehn when it comes to scoring goals; If u have data that suggests otherwise please provide it. Which attitude does Osimehn have at all clubs he has played for? Show us evidence of his coaches in the respective clubs he has played for complaining about that attitude. I know it is the spat he had with Finidi George that is making u talk about "attitude" . The funny thing is it was Finidi's lack of man management that led to the spat between them. |
iamoyindamola: ![]() Is head not part of the body allowed for playing football? Oya bring evidence that bulk majority of his goals are PK. Just say u don't like him instead of cooking up data that don't exist just to disparage him as a quality striker. |
Shegzdave:As in...very funny comparison between Osimehn and Jesus ![]() |
mostob:What do u mean by he's not clinical? Someone that scored 65 goals in 108 appearances in the serie A is not clinical? All these rumor about attitude, where do u hear it from? The only genuine concern here is his injury record and nothing else. |
iamoyindamola:How is no different from Jesus? ![]() Just say u don't like him as a person and we will understand. Osimehn is a proven goal scorer who has won golden boot in a league. He is the first African to be the highest goal scorer in the Serie A. He's scored 65 goals in 108 appearances in the Serie A. By all stats of measuring a striker Osimehn dwarfs Jesus. |
iamoyindamola:Osimehn is a better goalscorer than any of our current striker . Why will it pain u if we sign him? |
iamoyindamola:We will definitely sign a new attacker before the window closes. We only have Havertz as the only fit striker for now; we can't risk having just one fit striker. |
oliverano:As in.... Man city that the whole of EPL want the 115 charges to catch up with so they either get major point deduction or lengthy transfer ban. In fact city get serious hate-watchers pass some traditional top 4 teams sef. |
Ihebu4chelsea:I also didn't insult you, I only pointed it out that you don't understand the definition you provided by yourself. |
Amigoss:You practically said no one hate-watches city up there na. If u didn't say that, we won't be having this discussion at all. |
Ihebu4chelsea:English is certainly not your First, second and even third language. If you understand use of English, then you would've taken cognizance of the bolded. The only team in the last two years that has been striving to win or gain superiority over man city is actually Arsenal. That was why I referred you to the last two season's league table when you were asking JAMB question. |
Amigoss:Certainly, U are living in ur own alternate universe. Wetin concern me and united? I'm talking about people calling Guardiola fraud, people calling city a sugar daddy club , etc because of their success with Guardiola. There's no need to manufacture alternative facts when the fact is right there on Chelsea thread almost every season. |
Ihebu4chelsea:What is the definition of competition in ur dictionary? |
Ihebu4chelsea:Go and check the last two year's EPL table for the answer. |
Amigoss:People have been hate watching city since the day Guardiola joined. If u believe otherwise, then it means u are living in ur own world alone by urself. |
Jodera:It was at the Euros I confirmed his greatness. He literally showed Deschamps what he was missing; a lot of people that thought he was hyped saw him at the Euros and confirmed he is who he is. Like within the space of a year he was in EPL team of the year and Euros team of the tournament; his consistency is commendable. |
Jodera:Loserpool don't really have much fans in Nigeria like that. When I was growing up where we used to watch matches back then, we only had 3 Loserpool fans there. Even when they score and they jubilate their voice is hardly heard unlike Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Utd fans. I think the years when they were in the wilderness also affected them. |
iamoyindamola:I dislike people like that; they always cause problem for other people who have the same nationality with them. Imagine the nonsense she's saying about being Yoruba and that she's sure the man's Yoruba wife just wants to eat his money. ![]() Some people on that bus/train who are ignorant may be forming opinion based on her shameless behaviour. |
iamoyindamola:This video just confirmed what my friend in Ireland told me weeks ago when I asked him about racism over there and all. He said some Nigerians actually do too much, especially female who now have permanent residency (either by marriage or dagbo means) He said a lot of ladies like the lady in that video are actually very saucy and they disrespect Irish citizens at every chance they get. He said they are always trying to prove they are equals with them and they go about it in a disrespectful manner. He said some of the things they do or say will even make u a fellow Nigerian vex. Just look at the lady provoking the man unnecessarily. |
