raumdeuter:He said the ref is in such instances is expected to look at the position of the hand of the player . He said yes the arm makes his body bigger , but he was clearly moving the hand away from the ball backwards so it’s no penalty as rightly given by Taylor on the pitch . Meanwhile, I’ve such handballs given wella simply ur arm makes ur body bigger without any further shalaye |
I like serious players like Kimmich. No 4cks given! A man’s got to do what a man’s got to do |
See the yeye explanation Mark Clattenberg dey give for obvious penalty . SMH |
Havertz just useless |
Amoto94:Where is the goalpost shifting here? GloriouGbola called out the fact that the lady lying in court is actually a sin which the clerics are willing to overlook. Then u said there's nothing wrong in refusing to give testimony. But the news report said the wife "denied the allegations". Like she literally lied under oath despite her husband's and her own admission of the occurrence of domestic violence. U are the one who is actually twisting and turning here bro. U have not brought to the fore a scriptural backing that says one is allowed to lie while swearing in the name of God. That's where we are |
afrodoc2:We can even carry a plane load of mosquito , empty it on their camp and watch them suffer malaria to our amusement . We may not even need to use ammunitions sef to conquer them ![]() |
Amoto94:All u have done here is refuse to call a spade a spade. The woman was beaten by her husband, the husband confessed same himself online and the wife also stated this in her tiktok post. A picture of her swollen face is on the internet. Now she is in a law court where a Quran is presented to her and she swore to tell the truth and nothing but the truth. She is asked about the beatings she received from her husband and she denied they ever happened.(even though every evidence provided by herself and the husband suggested otherwise). What she is done is called " Telling a lie". Simple. There's no sugarcoating it. Yes, we understand her reasons for doing that but it is what it is. GloriousGbola is right on this one. |
Seun don vex lock the shalaye thread ![]() |
GloriousGbola:This is actually funny . 😂 E sure me say the same cleric that helped them settle the matter and reconcile them will be one of those that will tell her to do whatever lawyer ask her to do in court . (I read his tweet responding to someone who asked how he was able to move on quickly from the issue after he posted his loved up video with the wife . He said some respected clerics like Chief Imam of Offa waded in ) |
Singapore1:This is just the truth. It goes beyond just saying u want justice for the woman. The woman will later see the justice as a cuss when people close to her ostracise her, the SUV she's using will be seized by the family members , etc |
Singapore1:I don't recall saying otherwise. |
GloriousGbola:Dey play! I hope u know camera and video recording by guests was barred when Lagbaja's daughter wedded ![]() https://www.nairaland.com/1369112/pictures-barred-lagbajas-daughters-wedding |
Theflint1:Lolz. A woman like man will always think of self preservation. The initial resistance the wife put up was because the believe she be abandoned by the husband a whole lot of decisions will not go her way going forward since a new woman will be coming to share her place with her.She most likely saw the man as someone who could reason with her and jettison the idea if she raised her objection well enough. She later saw things were not as she imagined and resorted to "spiritual help". I believe the moment that has failed to the extent she and the husband had a physical altercation; she was ready to settle for the place of senior wife (even though she was still disgruntled), but the horse has already bolted. The thing is whether u are a traditional woman or Gen Z baddy, once ur position is secured u will settle for what u would ordinarily refer to as "less" . Some of Ned Nwoko's senior wives are not even the traditional women like that but they settled for polygamy so far their place is fully secured. There are several examples of such. |
GloriousGbola:Even till now some people keep second family without the knowledge of the first wife; especially those whose job require constantly traveling or transfer to other states. |
Theflint1:100 times the lady will always side with the man. She probably would not want to deal with stigma that she sent the father of her children to prison. She will be ostracized if the man goes to prison and his family will throw her out. She will lose out on all fronts. I think it is about self-preservation for her. It's not like it has gotten to a point that she hates the man so much she hopes something bad happens to him. She just wants the husband she married back. I guess she has that now. They will sort themselves out on the polygamy matter internally; we will most likely not hear anything about it again. |
GloriousGbola:Make she sef "Jazz-up" ![]() May the best Jazz woman win |
KingTom:Dey play ! If the government decides to promulgate an act that mandates adults above age 21 to be conscripted into the military in readiness for a major war; Omo they will just move from one city to town to village ferrying people down to training camp. Make we no see war ni o. I read books about how some Africans were bundled from their villages to training camp then to India, Burma and other places where the war was ragging . The crazy thing is some of them didn’t even know who and who were fighting and what exactly they were fighting for . |
GloriousGbola:You are not wrong . Polygamy is an African thing for real. Most of the tribes in Africa long before the Arabs brought Islam and the Missionaries bringing Christianity ; have been steadily practicing polygamy . It was why some people accepted Islam whole heartedly which some rejected Christianity . Some people who took Christianity to heart had to divorce their wives . Polygamy was one of the reasons some African Christian’s left the Anglican Church and formed the African church . The African Church allowed polygamy for members and they baptize children of polygamists ( something the Anglican Church frowned at ) |
nihilistjnr:Baba, prior to the war UK had about 250k troops . It was during the war they mobilized between 3m to 4m troops . If a nation of 46m people as at that time can mobilize 4m , how much do u think a country nearing 150m like Naija can mobilize if they want to do that in the time of war ? I agree that our military is not in the best of shape as of today sha

GloriousGbola:We already saw the end of the case from the beginning. Thefint1 this is what we were telling u that the case is dead on arrival with or without kiki's agenda driven campaign. The fact that the husband and wife are both muslims who hail from a state like Kwara where they refrence Islamic clerics so much; It was obvious the case will be sorted in house. In all of these sha, one thing is obvious : POLYGAMY IS A VERY EXPENSIVE VENTURE. I read Jarus' sign-out post yesterday and I saw him thank his legal representatives. Apparently he had to employ the services of a law firm owned by a SAN which I believe their standing helped his case. Even though a SAN ordinarily would not appear in Magistrate court, but I'm sure the SAN will give him one of his best lawyers to plead his case. Only God knows how much that single legal appearance will cost him. I put it to you that Raumdeuter's Polygamy 101 lecture's application to real life will always burn a hole in ur pocket ![]() |
Theflint1:The British World War 1 era militray cannot defeat naija's 2024 Military. We will trash them. They have neither the men nor the hardware to defeat us. All the soldiers they conscripted from their colonies like Nigeria, Ghana, etc were part of their military strength na |
Seun:I think I get a bit of your perspective now from this reply. However , it appears to me your disdain for polygamy come from your personal experience which you are projecting on others. I read your tweets where you talked about how your grandfather took to polygamy which led to things going sour with your grandma. You mentioned how your grandma had to leave and come live with your parents and took care of you. I want to believe that particular experienced has shaped how you think about polygamy. A lot of people experienced something similar, but somehow they don't take out their aversion against polygamy on any other person practicing polyagmy . Of a truth domestic violence is a crime and should not be condoned, but methinks ur stand against Jarus in this issue goes beyond his domestic violence issue |
GloriousGbola:This is exactly the same thought I have. When u have group of friends and somehow almost everyone amongst them agree u are the most knowledgeable/have the superior intellect above others, u will always have to deal with that burden. Almost every intelligent person in this part of the world faces that challenge. U will just be surrounded with a lot of "Yes men" If u are the only person who can talk politics, finance, history, a little bit of science, sports, religion and academics etc.... U will be surprised at how only a handful of ur friends will be willing to advise u against a decision u are convinced on taking. They will believe u have everything figured out and will support ur decision . |
raumdeuter:At this point, I think he’s just bored . He’s just moving like wizkid , stir up some shiiit with his tweet, entertain himself by answering trolls and giving his opps gbas gobs ; and when he’s tired he just log off . |
mostob:You ever heard of the player called Adriano ? His shot power beats most right footers around |
https://x.com/arsenalbabe_/status/1808609839683416420?s=46 Apparently Sir J “toasted” this girl inside DM sometime in the past . As all the rogbodiyan is happening , she posted a screenshot of their conversation and claiming her face could’ve been designed with blows if she agreed for alaye |
Ibime:Major General Ibime ![]() |
raumdeuter:His employees are the real MVP's for putting up with him all this while. The thread he opened on twitter just threw me off like..... He acts like someone who changes his mind almost every now and then. |
