Proof of ownership that was a one time certificate; Tinubu entered and made it a yearly renewal document. People swallow am
Now Police wan collect Central Motor whatever for almost 6k.
I think say this thing na play sef. Until e go turn to another thing, these people no go learn When I renewed my papers in January, my Vehicle papers guy say what about CMR ? I told him I was not interested because I know the CMR is illegal and there's no law empowering the police to start generating revenue for govt. Now it looks as if the IG is bent on raking 6k from everybody on a yearly basis whether the law permits him to do so or not. I guess we will have no choice but to bend for that like we did for yearly proof of ownership One thing I have noticed is that our law enforcement in Nigeria don't really care about the law they are required to enforce. They just deal with the law however they like. I remember someone actually took the case of road worthiness certificate to court and won. The judgement was that road worthiness certificate is not required for private vehicles but commercial vehicles. The case was won at the appeal court and no law enforcement agency has appealed further, yet police, VIO and road safety will hold u for not having road worthniness. |

Amoto94: Adesina, a former agriculture minister, said, “Nigeria’s recently announced policy to open its borders for massive food imports, just to tackle short-term food price hikes, is depressing.”
He warned that the policy could undermine all the hard work and private investments that had gone into Nigeria’s agriculture sector.
“Nigeria cannot rely on the importation of food to stabilise prices. Nigeria should be producing more food to stabilise food prices while creating jobs and reducing foreign exchange spending, that will further help stabilise the naira.
“Nigeria cannot import its way out of food insecurity. Nigeria must not be turned into a food import-dependent nation,” he stated. So what is he suggesting now as a stop gap? |

GloriousGbola: you're missing my point on the name
she repeatedly said the mans entire name and the company he works for through out the interview. it is deliberate and malicious and the goal is obviously to get the man in trouble at work. you say the mans name, then you say where he works, then you say his role in the company.
the man should sue her next for defamation.
i am in a partnership and i can tell you - there are multiple contributions we have made that cannot really be quantified . some are monetary, some are use of connections to secure business, some are putting in work that we would have to pay for - the woman knows the game she is playing. more likely than not the business was to be retirement for both of them. We are saying the same thing. When I said she’s trying to get back at him, I mean she wants him to lose whatever makes him relevant and that includes his name, reputation and job. It is deliberate on her part that she keeps mentioning his name ,employers and job role . If the man has no skeleton in his cupboard he should sue her , but if he does it will be tough o. She obviously has nothing to lose again. She has already been pronounced by the court as an adulterous woman. What does she have to lose again? |

Yes. That’s her her ex-husband . I find it funny that she’s making the 20% claim. For all we know , the man probably set the whole catering business up for her and giving him 20% is the least she could’ve done. Methinks it’s just a case of love gone sour. Claiming the man is gay seem like a way to get her revenge against him |
Nawao was referring to Paul , her ex-husband .
She was married to Paul whom she thinks is gay. She cheated on him with Ifedayo ( Freeze ) and later divorced her husband .
Paul sued her and Freeze for committing adultery and Freeze has been slammed with 5 million Naira fine.
The issue now is ; there’s evidence before law that she committed adultery with Freeze while still married to Paul; but there’s no evidence Paul was/is gay. |

swiz123: True.
I am not against owning a gun, I actually believe it is good, but it isn't right for Nigerians at the moment. We are too hungry and unemployed for that.
All countries that legalized gun ownership is not half as hungry as Nigerians. Hungry Policemen is already a menace is this country. Scary to imagine what those boys shouting : egbon, twale boss , your own no go spoil, at all at all, at agege, oshodi, mushin ketu etc will turn to at night if a gun becomes easily accessible to them. I believe Raumdeuter don’t know how crazier Nigerians can get with gun in their hands . I don’t know if I’ve shared it before on this thread . In broad daylight I witnessed a man shoot all those area boys at ikeja along bus stop . I’m suspecting the would either be a military guy or DSS going by the type of gun he used; a very pistol which I suspect might be his service weapon . The guy came down from his venza and he just Dey hala for the area boy who apparently tried to snatch a phone while the car was stuck in traffic . You know how area boys can be; the area boy was bold face insulting him and told him to 4ck off. The guy pulled out a pistol from his car and shot the area boy on the leg. Everybody was stunned 😳. He dragged the area boy from the gutter he fell after the shot, and Locked him at the back of his booth and drove off . We have so many oeoooe with that kind of rage in this country , it’s just because they don’t have guns . Imagine if more and more people like that own guns . Some people will even shoot their neighbors because he plays his music too loud |

Spy360: I think that because guns still get into the hands of people illegally ot makes the whole idea of gun restriction useless. A better approach for me would be to legalise semi lethal guns to more people. For example, a university junior lecturer should be able to buy one for as low as 100k. 😂😂😂 So university lecturer and cultist go Dey do shootout amongst themselves |

raumdeuter: Imagine. So you wey don stop traveling by road due to insecurity and feeling unsafe Despite guns not being legal.
Most of my friends traveling to Nigeria travel by air within Nigeria and some even carry Security follow
One guy who was going to bury his father was paying 200k daily to local vigilante to guarantee his safety
They even warned him that they can only secure him in his village, the road he will drive to get to the village, they have zero control of it Nigeria is a third world country . Nigeria is a country where a lot of people have mental health problem but because they wear cloth we think they are normal . If guns are available to everybody , u see that guy that was arrested on the flight screaming and cussing Tinubu that time ? Someone like him will shoot at Tinubu on sight. Some of the APC supporters too will shoot Obi on sight. A lot of Lagosians would’ve shot at all those abokis that carry dagger . There will be total chaos. Let the government and law enforcement agents put in more efforts to fight crime. Allowing people own guns will cause more insecurity |

Roland17: There was a shooting at his rally, he wasn’t shot at, that is a big difference. He was tackled to the ground by the Secret Service and they piled on him to protect him, which is protocol as trained.
The secret service agents screamed “get down, get down” but Trump stayed up so they tackled him to the ground, especially since they did not know where the gunshots were coming from. He sustained the injuries from falling after the tackle and pile to protect him. Different news outlets are reporting different versions of the event. Did he say they will not fund it?
Abi AT THE SAME TIME don get another meaning? Did he stop there ? Didn’t he clarify what he meant by that when he said the this ? Speaking during a press conference on Friday, Umahi said he had been directed by President Bola Ahmed to review all projects in the country to decide those that would be given priority. The minister, while stating the government was not considering dumping projects it inherited, clarified that projects that will be considered for funding would have reached 80 per cent completion.
“The Federal Executive Council has directed we should review the projects to availability of funds and make proposals to FEC. If such a project has attained about 80 per cent of completion, then we will make proposal to it for subsequent appropriation. When this money is made available, such project will be made a priority so that it will be completed I really don’t know what point u are trying to prove. Anybody that read the full post surely could read that Umahi is saying out of the inherited projects, only those that have reached 80% completion will be given priority while others…… God knows what will happen to others. |
