airmark:😂😂😂 What of Bosun Tijani that insulted Tinubu in the past ? Hope u know he got a ministerial nominee despite rubbishing Tinubu's power grabbing philosophy . He had to kowtow before his ministerial nomination was confirmed . I believe u didn't have internet service to call out Bosun as at that time for being a fraud who has tendency of bringing the country to its knees . Lmao |
Ibime:Okpa go still use his unstable network to counter this post and blame Israel & their supporters in the west ![]() |
iamoyindamola:Lolz . There are so many strange people on this earth o; u won't know until u come across them. Some people don't even play football because they love the sport ; they play because they know how to play it more than others . They don't attach emotions to playing it. It's not about passion for them, it's just something they know how to do and that's all. |
afrodoc2:It just screams lack of coordination |
airmark:Ur post history on this thread prior to yesterday's discussion says otherwise. But then , it's ur prerogative to comment on any discussion u fancy. I've never even heard of the Ruby lady prior to her nomination and subsequent withdrawn nomination. Goodluck to those that nominated her and withdrew the nomination. |
I think people are making the most out of the Ben white matter; I'm saying this because growing up I know someone who was just like him. This guy is our contemporary, he attended one of the best private secondary schools in the area and comes to play set in the evenings on a daily basis. I'm yet to see a player who can use both feet effectively like he does. BJ is one guy that will run riot on any defense if you have him as ur attacker; he can shoot with both legs, has ball control technique that rivals Berbatov's with both legs and he can dribble himself out of any tight corner. BJ like Ben White is not interested in football match he's not playing in. He doesn't even discuss club football like others while waiting for it to get to his set. This is someone who has a very high football iQ , but he just won't discuss football at all. If u draft him into ur team for any football competition, u are sure of making it to at least semi finals due to his attacking threat and football intelligence. Last I knew the guy graduated with a first class and works with Nigerian Bureau of statistics. |
obainojazz:He only comments here for one major agenda ; every other thing is secondary . |
larride:Exactly ! Optics matters in a plural society like Nigeria . If as a government u have an image that portrays u as one that don't like to work with opposition , a government that goes after those that worked for the previous govt ( within same party ) , a government that the Fulani/Hausa stock feel left out and a government the masses are groaning under ; omo u will spend most of ur tenure fighting enemies u inadvertently created o. |
larride:I checked the lady's LinkedIn and I see she ticks the box of who can actually call " technocrat " in the real sense of it. I believe whoever recommended her in the presidency means well. Now the fact that her nomination was pushed and then about to be withdrawn shows there are people in the presidency who value politicking more than actually keep the country going . If Bosun who actually had "not so nice words " for Tinubu in the past got a ministerial job, it leaves less to be desired that forces are working against this woman and they are even doing it when cat has already been let out of the bag. If na only APC members or supporters they want to get appointed into key government posts , then we can as well conclude that Tinubu's government has failed before it even started . |
@ Prospa , Did this lady say more than this on Twitter during the election ? Like did she call Tinubu drug baron or say any other things he may find offensive aside from these tweets ? I'm asking because of that Bosun Tijani case ni o
|
iamoyindamola:Because international business partners care about ur reputation in ur local market as their partner . They don't want to be seen as partnering with a business known for human rights abuse and harassment cases . |
raumdeuter:3 out of 4 Portable WAGs showered him love ; na only the one Kokozaria collect no show love . See wetin man do man 😩 |
Theflint1:U get. The man was right to have had her sued, but e supposed don tell police to step down the petition after she don show remorse. Now the story has been flipped that he's harassing her . Except he wants to continue to operate on the local scene , this story will still hurt his business one way or another |
hensben:This is all that matters |
hensben:I get where u are coming from, but it is a stretch to say Mourinho will win the league with those guys. U are saying Mourino with Newcastle will leap frog Man city, Loserpool, Arsenal, Tottenham and even Aston Villa who all have good players and respective coaches in good form to win a league ? I don't see it happening soon at all. They can win a cup competition of few games, but a 38 matches league? I don't think so |
Ellexy:No be me be the pastor wey no believe baba story na ![]() |
GloriousGbola:The man is crude and doesn't know when to switch an "L" to a winning situation. He thinks the lady was sponsored by his competitors to scatter his business reputation and has voiced to crush her and whoever her sponsors are; but he's not being reasonable enough to ask himself the vital question "At what cost "? He most likely thinks social media people boycotting his brand will have little effect on his business; but he doesn't know the damage the human right abuse tag he's now getting can do to his business. Just yesterday I saw official amnesty international (Nigeria) page condemning the harassment and human rights abuse on the part of Erisco. The man obviously doesn't know tags like that will rob him of some international business deals. Tomorrow he might think of a big business idea and he needs fund from international finance organizations; the way they will deny him due to this kind issues ehn.....He will be shocked. Those organizations lasan, they follow Nigerian news steady. People that if they just hear there was an incident in ur factory and ur staff are protesting unfair treatment or unfair condition of service, they may stop ur next tranche of funding if u don't resolve the issue sharperly. I think people like that man should employ a young business person to act as the face of the company while he remains the CEO/Man. Running a big business like that goes beyond wearing ankara suit and trouser up and down on Arise TV |
Jodera:Yeah, I don't see Mourinho with his outdated tactics winning a 38 match EPL season at all. |
Emaprince:Or make omo onile resell ur land give army general ![]() Na to leave the battle for God |
hahn:It is ground beef ; usually very tasty. |
GloriousGbola:No time , ![]() |
Jodera:Funny enough, with the way players like Joelinton, Guimares, Botman,Schar, Burn etc play; I agree that it's a coach like Mourinho that fits them. I don't know about if he will league with them, but if he should do mistake enter any cup final with that team ehn, whoever their opponent is will just get frustrated and concede the cup to them from the first minute ![]() |
raumdeuter:Some people are too good to be true. Even me I was surprised when the person told me. People that fall into this category are people who are generally good, they have access to funds steady and do not really let whatever their friends or family opinion affect their plan for you. |
raumdeuter:U are right, there's no business that can't fail |
iamoyindamola:Another angu! Make e no be like all this Yoruba radio programme wey dem dey share stories of their listeners. There was one like that, the man sent in his story and asked for advice. The man travelled abroad but had issues with his papers so he was deported back to naija tho with some cash. Before he arrived , he asked his wife to look for a more conducive apartment they can stay as a family for which he provided cash after which they moved in. Years down the line, baba was doing well in his business and one thing led to the other , he wanted to meet the landlord to discuss renovations of the building , but his wife only provided the agent number which she claims is the one she pays to yearly. The man met the agent and after probing and probing, the agent gave him phone number of the landlord who turned out to be his father-in-law. The man now met the father-in-law to confront him man-to-man say wetin dey sup? The father-in-law had no choice but to open up that the wife actually owns the building but cos she knows her husband may not want to live in the house built by her out of pride, she had to use the agent as decoy and the agent deals with the father-in-law who didn't disclose his relationship with his daughter to the agent. The man is angry with the fact that he has been paying rent to his wife for years . He dey ask for advice for radio programme. |
afrodoc2: ![]() Don't tell me baba still go do testimony for church ? |
raumdeuter: ![]() But some landlords are cool like that. I know someone too who was lucky like that for a long time like that too. Na under Buhari administration the baba later increase the rent o |
raumdeuter:U have a point that one may not get back his profit after 10 years, but u will be getting profit in real time while the business remains profitable na. I think this whole thing is about money allusion we have in this part of the world sha. I don't know how to explain it , but let's look at it this way. 1. I have 40m and I invest it into let's say selling roofing sheets. Let's say on a monthly basis I make a profit of N1m from my investment which I plough N500k back into the business and I either spend the balance N500k or reinvest it into the business. Let's say in the 10th year there's recession and somehow I lose all my business capital. 2. U have N40m and u bought a land and after 10 years u can sell the land for N100m. Some people would think u took the wise decision of investing N40m 10 years ago which now fetch u N100m. But what they are ignoring is the fact that for 9 straight years I had access to profit of N12m annually (From the N1m profit per month) which translated to N108m. If the business didn't crash I would still have N40m capital sef plus the N108m. Remember I was getting my profit in real time, not waiting for 10 years when N40m of yesteryears may even worth more than N100m of today |
raumdeuter: ![]() Even if all of the above happen, still make dem check itsrm well. E get wetin he dey do wey he no tell us. |
izzou:Yes, that's why risk is part of business; there is a chance that u make a profit or a loss. Tying ur money down to a land on the other hand does not necessarily mean u will make profit. If most people take Time Value of money into consideration they may discover the investment on land didn't actually appreciate as much as they assume it did. N5m this time last year was more valuable than N5m now. If u have N5m as at the time dollar was N400/1$ and u invested it into buying land and today u sell the land N15m now that dollar is N1500/1$ . u would think u made profit, but u won't know u lost at least $2,500 dollars in that investment when we are even yet to factor in inflation rate. I think the difference is that in business u can easily see whether u are making a gain or loss , but in the case of this land matter u won't even know u made a loss; u will be grateful u got whatever amount u are getting. |
izzou:Lolz. If u look at time value of money, the man may be better off to have invested that N10k per plot into a business that would've enabled him to afford 500 acres of land today and more if he had not bought the 66 acres then and tie the money down. |
izzou:Yeah. I think it is the north (bar Abuja) that is still considerably affordable |
