Why are we playing with fear?
This is Leverkusen and not bayen Munich
I don't think we are playing with fear.

So far the match is 50/50. It's just that our wingers have not really woken up ; Saka has been falling on the floor anyhow and Martinelli is being Martinelli

Doesn't their history and actions match what terrorist groups do?
U dey mind am?

Hamas literally murdered innocent civilians in cold blood on October 7th, but he wants to be playing with semantics to score point.

I'm sure the next thing he would say is : "The UN did not designate Hamas as a terror group, therefore they are a self determination group fighting for independence "

The Kims have said worse.
Iran actually match their talks with action. They say they want to wipe out Israel and they've been arming terror groups like Hamas, Hezbollah and Houthis to advance their agenda for years.

You think Israel will take Iran talks about nuking the state of Israel with a pinch of Salt? When they have to spend millions of dollars to defend themselves against Iranian rockets lunched by those aforementioned Iranian proxies.

If they are not proactive, they will just wake one morning like October 7th and find out the Iranian have carried their long term dream of erasing the jews off the map.

grin grin

Na so now.

They use Israeli/American casualty numbers to knock them, but once stats on the scale of pounding the Israelis & Americans are doing in Iran is released, they start talking about how the war is needless, how they can't win a war of attrition, how we are all bearing brunt of the war via increased oil prices, etc.

Individuals always making silly excuses for government, now them dn kidnap am..

When fellow citizens complain, they call it wailing..Let the government he doesn't want to be held accountable for the insecurity in the country, go and pay ransom for him..
As in.....someone that reads about kidnappings and killings almost everyday online and in newspapers already saying he is ready to reward the government that cannot tame insecurity with another 4 years.

It's now looking like they have accepted insecurity as Force Majeure that can be traceable to natural disaster and that there's nothing government can do to stop it. These are the same people that blamed previous governments for all their mess up o.

If u talk, dem go begin call u names.

His daughter had to delete her post calling on the public for support when people started flooding it with the man's support for this government despite the worsening insecurity situation creeping into the West...
Some of them find it easy to gloss over other people's pain points and see everything from the lens of politics . Shebi that was how Seyi Law was saying Nigeria is safer under this administration than it was before Tinubu's ascension.

How can the man be claiming the government is doing well despite the worsening security situation ?

I hope Patrick can see this, during Atlanta v Bayern analysis this clown had to chip in Arsenal. Omo Nawa of

People like this Schmeichel are just crazzzy! They just can't hide their hate.

He's anchoring a champions league match where he can talk about Arsenal's excellent performance against Bayern Munich , Inter Milan and Athletico Madrid who are all top teams arsenal has dispatched successfully this season. Instead of focusing on that, he's talking about imaginary waste of time complaint by a pained Brighton coach whose team were not even exceptional in the match he has been bitching about for weeks.

We really need to hold on to the end and win this EPL even if it's by goal difference; let's now sit and relax to enjoy their wailings all through off season. Yeye people!

This is the 2nd post you have made on this man's issue. It is looking like you are trolling the guy, and it should not be like that.

Thousands of people are being kidnapped or killed in the country, and it cuts across the political divide.
Yes, it is the second post, and the two posts is to show the hypocrisy of people who want to believe things are not as bad as media/opposition is portraying things to be.

Yes, anyone can get killed or kidnapped be it member of the opposition or ruling party, but when u point out these things they dismiss it as if u are just harping on a negligible issue because most of them haven't been victims neither do they have close relatives who suffered same fate.

The security situation has been terrible under this administration but less than a month ago he was so confident the person who has been unable to fix our security challenge should be rewarded with another 4 years at the helms of affairs.

Baba dropped thesis on how Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria and even combating insecurity issues in February 2026. He eulogized Tinubu's government like the best thing after jollof rice.....

Less than a month later, kidnappers carry baba demanding 100m ransom from his family.

MorataFC:
I think you may have misunderstood my position.
I’m not “holding brief” for Adelabu, and I’m certainly not saying Nigerians should accept failure. My point is simply about the scale of the structural problem in the power sector.
Reports show that Nigeria has been transmitting roughly around 4,000 MW since about 2010. Now we are in 2026,about 16 years later, after massive population growth and development. Do we honestly expect that same capacity to still be sufficient for today’s demand?
Naturally, demand has increased significantly, yet the grid capacity has not expanded proportionally.
Even if Adelabu introduces another pricing structure tomorrow, let’s say a new Band system where electricity costs even ₦2000 per unit, without adding significant megawatts to the national grid, the fundamental problem will still persist.
Pricing reforms alone cannot manufacture electricity.
You also mentioned solar adoption. In reality, the growing shift to solar actually confirms that the national grid is under severe pressure, because people are looking for alternatives outside the system.
Even if Nigeria were to bring one million power technocrats into the country today, will they arrive with 20,000 megawatts of electricity in their luggage? Of course not. They would still have to start with the same limited megawatts currently available on the grid.

There is a Yoruba adage that captures this situation well:
“Amúkùún ẹrù ẹ wò.”
And the reply is: “Òkè l’ẹ̀ ń wo, ẹ ò wo ìsàlẹ̀.”
In other words, people often look only at the surface of the problem, without considering the deeper underlying issues.
So my point remains simple: Nigeria’s power crisis will likely continue to worsen unless there is a significant increase in megawatts added to the national grid. Demand for electricity keeps rising as the population grows, more development that use power yet the supply capacity has barely expanded, until Nigeria significantly increases generation and transmission capacity, the electricity problem will remain difficult for any minister to solve, No matter how competent or experienced the Minister of Power may be,whether it is Adelabu or anyone else, the outcome will not fundamentally change without major additions of megawatts to the grid.

The real solution lies not in personalities, but in massive investment and expansion of power infrastructure.
Okay, I hear u loud and clear.

But u also need to hear me; What has Adelabu done to actualize the promise his principal Tinubu made in 2022/2023 when he promised improved power supply before 2027?

2027 is just next year and we are here discussing how things have turned from bad to worse under Adelabu.

One thing is dislike is when we have all agreed in tbe past that things are not going well and We should replace current handlers with new ones who may have better ideas. Then we do, same people we all had that agreement together will suddenly start talking about how things cannot get better even if we change people over and over again ( which seem to suggest we should make do with the current failures who only got there because we displeased the previous failures)

This right here is why I would not subscribe to any attempt to make it seem like the current state of governance we have under APC is the best we can get even when they got there only because we kicked PDP out for not being as terrible as this.

Honestly, I was so angry and can't even describe the extent I would go to see the guy treated worse than a terrorist If I were to be the victim of such tweet as a parent.

Of all things he can think of to troll them about, he actually thought of that. It's even crazy because the guy in question is a full grown man in his 30's and not some misguided underage dealing with youthful exuberance. A 33 year old man for that matter.
