The scouts and Edu supposed work something out for us from that side instead of wasting substantial amounts pursuing mid players all over Europe. The South Americans would even take reasonable wages and it won't disorganize our wage structure. |

I read arteta rejected around 30m from palace for nketiah Why can’t we go to Brazil or any South American country and get a winger with flair to deputize Saka ? Players like Luis Diaz of losperpool plenty for South America na. Even strikers we can get them cheap in South America wella . Why must we buy overpriced Europeans all the time sef ? |

Itsrm: I just used Osinbajo as an example.
Whoever drafted that law must be drunk and I will be very surprised if this is what obtains in developed countries.
You'll be surprised to find out how heavily invested someone like Cardoso will be in companies operating in the financial sector. Some of those companies will get government contracts.
Emefiele was the CEO of Zenith. I'm sure he didn't just dispose his shares before his appointment to CBN.
What I would have expected the law to mandate is full disclosure before appointment. Those that drafted the law knew how fantastically corrupt their countrymen and women are na. Shey u no see Betta Edu contravene the law still dey shout say she no do anything wrong ? Emefiele was CBN governor and Zenith bank is not a company that gets contract from CBN na. |

Itsrm: But let's be realistic here. Is there any government official who is not a shareholder of one company or another? Should they all be forced to resign because the companies where they are shareholders get government contracts?
Osinbajo for instance is a major shareholder of a telco company. That telco company got a big contract from INEC last year. Should he have resigned too? Osinbajo is not a civil servant/government appointee. He was voted into an elected position. I know Osinbajo is one of the major shareholders in MTN, but I don't think the rule that applies to these ministers & civil servants applies to governors, presidents and vice presidents. No be me write Nigerian constitution, public service rule and Public procurement Act. What the law says is that public servants can only engage in farming. |

TrebleChamp: Na Northerners full immigration and it looks like the passport reform no favour dem, but the minister should be suspended if it is proven he is culpable. Tinubu will be seen as being tribal biased if he doesn't take similar action on Tunji-Ojo like he did with Betta Edu. The issue be say Tunji-Ojo no steal , but most likely had used his influence to get his company the contract from a ministry headed by his friend. It's neither here nor there. I learnt Barth Nnaji was in similar situation under Jonathan and he was forced to resign his appointment as minister. Being a shareholder of the company definitely poses a question of conflict of interest. Las Las na Tinubu go decide his fate however he deems fit. |

Imagine playing your best DM as RB and benching one half of your best CB. Is that not madness.
And then, seeing the excuse been given for such madness made it even more painful.
All because Havertz must play in the midfield!! Now go back to ur prayer room and pray Havertz into injury. Please do this for us all. |

Arteta needs to manage these guys well and stop thinking short-termism. I wonder why till now he hasn't gotten Saka's able deputy. To even promote sef dey hard am. If he kills these guys prime like dem Owen, e no go gel.
To really defend Arteta nowadays is a very hard task Yeah u are right, the second player is White . His problem is thinking short term like u rightly said, he just wants to win this match without thinking of the next one. While it has advantage, it also has disadvantages which is someone looking like overshadowing the advantages. |

MorataFC: English is not my native language, but it seems that you are the one who needs an English tutorial more than I do. The word 'just' in your previous post implies that all the teams mentioned are just ordinary teams. However, I specifically chose Arsenal for a reason that is widely known to everyone. 🤣🤣🤣 Bye Well, In English Language there's contextual meaning to words. A group that has Arsenal, Lens and Sevilla is not the same as a group that has Madrid , Napoli and Union Berlin. U know it and u know ur argument in favor of PSV not playing in a piss poor league lacks merit. Anything else u are saying na u know . |

Not everyone knew it was Achilles though.
Haba now.. you still on this low budget guy coming through? He hasn't improved nothing. Maq what?😂😂 Why I dey reason Maquinos is because I learnt we might enter FFP trap anytime soon if we keep buying and don't make considerable profit from selling. If we sell maquinors now, we will most likely be selling at a loss except he plays few games for us and other clubs see that he's good enough for them to invest on. |

It is better we get a backup now. If that guy gets injured, we should just forget it!!! Dunno why this guy doesn't want to get that Lens winger that gave us problems in France. I thought everyone knew, I knew before the match that he's been battling achilles injury. I read it sometimes last week, himself and one other player I can't remember now. If we can sell Nelson, buy someone else and maybe recall Maquinos if he has improved(Although I didn't follow his progress while on loan sha ) |

iamoyindamola: I think it has to do with the danfo driver that escape arrest by driving recklessly God saved one of the lastma officers sef The caption of the video was no gree for anybody E no make sense jare People are using that slogan wrongly before it escalate i support the police on this Shey na the Danfo driver use the slogan? shebi it's the person that filmed and uploaded the video that added it as caption. No be today Danfo and other motorists have been running over LASTMA officials. Nothing concern the slogan and the Danfo/LASTMA incident. The Nigeria police like to major in the minor. They just come up with all sorts of nonsense. You will be surprised that very soon all those yeye korofo policemen will start harrasing people just for such mindless stuff. I was reading about the lawyer that was detained when he went to bail his client and I read the part where the police PRO first reacted to the incident. He was quick to dismiss the man's case and even accused the lawyer of acting without decorum without any investigation. The same PRO is the one that later announced that the DPO that ordered for the lawyer to be detained has been removed. Like u can see his first impulse was to absolve the police of any wrong doing without proper investigation even when he knows those guys can even do worse. |

MorataFC: Perhaps you dont understand my previous reply to Kimbeast. The four goals conceded to Arsenal could be attributed to a bad day, which can happen to any team. However, if we remove that bad day from the equation and observe their overall performance in the remaining matches, they conceded a total of 6 goals in 5 matches.
Comparatively, the defending champions' goal tally stands at 7 goals conceded in 6 matches, while giants like Real Madrid also conceded 7 goals in 6 matches. This prompts the question: Is it fair to label Madrid and Manchester City as teams from a poor league too if they can concede 7 goals each in 6 matches? Did they face the same quality of opposition? The answer is no. If PSV can end up with a -2 GD in a group that has just Arsenal, PSV, Lens and Sevilla what makes u think they won't fair worse in a group that has Real Madrid, Napoli & Union Berlin ? The fact is there for u to see. They have 100% record in their league but they only had one point better than 7th placed RC Lens in the Farmers league. A team that conceded just 6 goals in 16 matches is conceding 10 goals in 6 matches and u are saying it's not due to the competitiveness of the league they play in/quality of their opponents ? really ? |

iamoyindamola: We can't exceed 50m this month we spent 200m in the summer FFP will be looking at us sef, we need to be clever with the signing That's why i feel nketiah plus 20 will be enough to get him and we use the balance get another midfielder Timber is back, zinny is also back we don't need full back currently Even though partey is also back i can't count on him
Btw did viera died from his injury that ogbeni collect red and got injured in process I think selling Nketiah will help our books sef cos he is home-grown, we don't need to do subtraction and addition to get his actual value. Whatever value we sell him will be his real value. If players like Watkins or Bowen get injury, na to sell him give them for good money. I think Viera had been nursing injury before the red card incident sha. I won't mind if we can sell Nelson too and buy somebody else. Nelson just seem to have his progress stalled for like forever and it's neither helping his career nor our team. |
