Yeah, Gbenga Daniel is not a saint either, but when comparing two evils, he is an angel compare to Dapo.
On my scorecard, only Olusegun Osoba and Ibikunle Amosun scored a C6, while Gbenga scored a P8. As for Dapo, even an F9 would be too good for him, he doesn’t deserve any mark at all, giving him F9 means he make an attemp in doing something ,he doesn’t merit a grade at all, his performance should read negative.

The truth is most Ogun State governors in the past performed between average and below average. However , Dapo “Danu” seem to be the worse of them all.

Once u leave Lagos and cross to Ogun state you will just know without anybody telling you . The poor state of roads is just unbelieveable for a state like Ogun that is commercially viable. If they construct and repair roads to open up the state, the IGR they are celebrating now will be a child's play to what they would start realizing.

The annoying thing about Dapo's government is that he has people online paid to spread a narrative of him working contrary to the reality of most people who reside or have business to be in the state at any point in time during his tenure. They will list roads that they've never repair and claim work is ongoing despite people of that area debunking such projects being in progress.

The guy really just use his governorship to settle himself and few loyalists.

Nigerians are funny people and going through that list of allegations I can confidently say the people are not ready.

So they are saying the opposition exposed the fact that Dapo Abiodun had criminal past not only forging his educational credentials but was also jailed in the US for credit card fraud in the 80's.

These information and and the fact that he was indebted to AMCON to the tune of 20 billion was out there in the open. Yet somehow he was elected as governor of Ogun state (by the same set of people who drafted these allegations) and served two terms.

Suddenly they are asking questions about how he was able to clear his AMCON debt. 😁 Like the answer is not glaring for everyone to see. When he was spending over N80 billion on an airport project that questions have been asked about it's commercial viability, these same persons were the ones taunting members of the position calling them wailers. The OP of that thread in particular is a notorious APC assslicker and political sycophant on Twitter. (I can't mistake his moniker because he uses it as his Twitter name).

My question is what were they expecting from a character like Dapo with the numerous baggage he carries with him?

Methinks this list of questions/allegations they are now coming up with is not even from the place of demand for accountability. I believe they are only speaking up now because he's contesting against Gbenga Daniel and that he may jolly well use executive powers to rig Daniel out. So, this just looks like Daniel camp trying to amplify what we already know about Dapo and they themselves were willing to overlook in the past.

I didn't make my comment with intention of arguing Arsenal's style of play with anybody.

I passed my comment as a football fan who noticed the defensive aspect of the game for both teams is basically average.

That was why my follow up comment was that a well drilled and balanced team can beat both teams. I didn't say Arsenal or any ultra defensive team.

In a corrupt country like Nigeria as a foreigner you do not need a passport to get anything done.

In countries like dubai there was (think they have stopped now) a law that any foreign run business should have 50% local ownerhip.

Laws as simple as local content in the oil and gas industry are violated all the time, so what exactly are the benefits that having a Nigerian passport will do for business in Nigeria?

Maybe he is using Lebanese as a case study because a lot of them are fully naturalised and they have cornered multiple industries in Naija

In my corporate Nigeria experience which is way above a decade, I have been in rooms with foreign nationals (Lebanese, Indians and even Jews) who are more powerful than some influential Nigerians sef. They get things done around here without giving a flying 4ck about our green passport.

Most of these guys' business thrive on enslaving Nigerians in their own country and institutionalizing apartheid system in this same Nigeria. It may sound hard to believe but it is happening till date. Our labor laws don't protect their Nigerian employees and our FG still go further to grant them tax rebate and free trade zone status without giving a 4ck about the condition of service of their Nigerian employees.

Even when the Nigerian employees form a trade union to mount pressure on the foreign business owners to improve their working conditions, a Nigerian political office holder who has received bribes from these foreign nationals will come and tell the staff to cut the crap and be grateful they even have a job to start with.

Sorry I digress, but a Nigerian "golden passport" for $5m is not attractive to a potential investor who aims at doing business in line with global best practices in Nigeria. Only wicked investors will be attracted by the offer and they will make their Nigerian employees see shege for their investment to yield ROI.

Is he saying Nigeria should grant Golden visa to any potential investor who plans on investing $5m and above into the country ?

If the answer is yes, does he think that Nigeria in its current state is attractive to investors enough to bring their money to invest in? I mean without stable electricity and current insecurity issues, does he think a potential investor would think investing it in Nigeria will be the best course of action?
