raumdeuter: Salah is the biggest and major player in Liverpool's success He won with the generation of Firmino, Mane Henderson Fabinho and Wijnaldum, He dominated with the next generation that they gave him last season
Salah is to Liverpool, what Messi was to Barcelona, Ronaldo to Madrid and Henry to Arsenal. That is the closest in football to be ONLY about his ability
A club who didn't win and barely competed for 30yrs suddenly became a League and European powerhouse. After Klopp, the next most important human to Liverpools success is Salah Most Importantly Salah was their best player in the two seasons they won the league |

drisham: A very dumb take from him
Claiming salah had nothing before coming to Liverpool
Liverpool were on a 30yr title drought before Salah came in by the way Maybe he thinks everyone is as dumb as he is and we don't remember the number of years Loserpool spent in the wilderness before coming up. Even Suarez and dem Coutinho tried to pull them out everything failed until Salah's era. |

raumdeuter: ESPN posted an image of Salah's goals and assist contribution every season since he joined and it was always double digit goals and assists. Most seasons over 20 goals for almost a decade in which Liverpool won 2 league titles and the CL. I doubt there has been a season when Salah was not the top scorer in the team. His first season 60 g+A. Last season 57 G+A
Once again before Salah they were on a 30 years barren run. Salah's first season, he broke the scoring record and they made the CL final
Salah is one reason why Liverpool is a top rated side, Many of the rivals look forward to a Salah-less Liverpool.
I watched most of Carraghers career and I dey amaze when he sits on TV forming like one Don. He was below Hyypia and Riise, On the same level as Djimi Traore, I will even pick Steve Finnan Over him even though Finnan was not spectacular but he doesn't make mistakes every week like Carragher
Slot like most Dutch coaches try to be geniuses and mix up basic footballing templates. They all think they are Cryuff or Rinus Michel. Their buys no dey get head or tail nor a clear. When I heard that Liverpool got a Dutch coach I told my Liverpool supporting friend that what pushed you to a Dutch coach. Before Slot I cant remember in the last 15yrs when a Dutch coach won a major title like CL or major league in the last 15yrs It is mediocre like him that always have loudest opinions about great players like Salah. Imagine Salah's numbers till last season and he's talking shiiit about that same player |

raumdeuter: I so much despise Carragher and those armchair pundits, A useless loudmouth. Carragher wey we see his entire career and he was mid as feeck. A comparison to Carragher will be current Tosin or Badiashile. Its always comedy special anytime Carragher played
Before Salah, Liverpool were 30yrs without the league. Now they have won 2. There is no greater player than Salah in EPL era both in Liverpool and the entire EPL. While Caragher, you can name 100 top EPL players and never remember him I saw a twitter post made by Salah quoting Carragher saying he thinks Carragher is obsessed with him(Salah). At this I'm forced to believe that is the case. One can sense envy in Carragher's criticism of Salah each time he opens his mouth to talk down on Salah. He did not even address the concerns Salah raised , he just wants to shiit on Salah's career and make it seem like everything Salah achieved for Loserpool were team effort with minimal contribution from Salah as an individual. People like Carragher are only enjoying English tax and using it to farm legendary status. It's not even like he was one of England's best players during his time in the national team , neither is he known for anything historic at his club side. Maybe their employers like his contrarian views sha, maybe that's why they kept him on the show. |

If the Senate were not a rubber stamp one, they would query him over the deployment of ground and air forces on Sunday prior to seeking senate approval. But as things are currently, he has nothing to worry about since they even sing "On Your mandate we shall stand" in the senate house. They definitely won't raise much of an eyebrow considering almost everyone either belongs to his party or are on their way to the party. |

This matter of Nigerian Miliatry aircraft allegedly detained in Burkina Faso no clear at all.
There's a video of the Burkina Faso authorities claiming they detained Nigerian Military personnel after they forced them to land within Burkina Faso's territory.
Nigerian Airforce released a press statement claiming they made an emergency landing while enroute Portugal, they received cordial treatment from the Burkinabe authorities and that they acted in accordance with standard safety procedures and international aviation protocols.
Who do we say is telling the truth and who is telling lies here now? Why does it feel like our Military employing propaganda to deescalate matters ? |

A civilian regime will be happy to allow the top generals send only a few majors to the expensive training courses while the generals pocket the change. A happy general is a safe general.
Just a far-fetched theory of mine. You made a very valid point, most of the top generals will rather embezzle those funds knowing nobody can arrest or try them for misappropriation of funds except the military authorities which they are part of. |

All these little hiccups are suggestive of deeper problems. Exactly why I hope a diplomatic solution to the problem is provided. Sportsweb: 🚨🚨🎙️| Jamie Carragher: "One thing I want to remind Mohamed Salah and maybe his agent… Before he came to Liverpool, Mo Salah was known as the guy who FAILED at Chelsea. That’s just a fact."
"He’s also the greatest player the country has ever had. Egypt in the AFCON are the most successful nation. But Salah HAS NOT won AFCON." That Carragher na basket mouth that would just criticize players greater than him anyhow all in the name of being a pundit. Salah is arguably one of Loserpool's best players who brought glory back to Anfield when himself and Mane peaked. Whether he was a reject at Chelsea or not, the fact is he contributed to Loserpool winning the EPL after a long period under Klopp and restored them back to being a top team after years in the wilderness. I think it's only normal for them to posture lie that but they won't go for confrontation with Nigeria at thsi point in time. Section 5 of the Constitution says the President, in conjunction with the National Defense Council, can deploy the military on a limited combat mission outside Nigeria if he thinks the country's national security is under imminent threat. The previous section is however clear that he can't declare war on another country without senatorial approval. Section 5(4)(b) says : except with the prior approval of the Senate, no member of the armed forces of the Federation shall be deployed on combat duty outside Nigeria. |

afrodoc2: When it comes to emergency intervention to save a democratically elected government due process of obtaining senatorial approval will render the intervention useless. Coups fail or succeed over a period of less than 12 hours, usually during the night. If we are to apply that rule, then there would be no need to intervene at all.
How are we sure the legitimate government had been toppled when the request was made? I'm not sure of anything, I'm only asking a question which answer may actually make the whole situation complicated. I do not think there's anywhere the constitution says the senate approval can be discarded because of emergency of any of such request. If we can find reasons to discard due process now, who knows what reasons another government will come up with to jettison following due process over a totally different matter in the future? |
