Samusu: There are anticipations now that the long awaited commissioning of Karu International Market(renamed Muhammadu Buhari International Market) in Karu Nasarawa State would eventually become a reality. This anticipation is attributed to the recent renovations and finishing touches taking place within and outside the market.
The 6th of February, 2018 which is the happens to be on Tuesday is the stipulated date for the commissioning of the market by President Muhammadu Buhari. The state Ministry of Commerce and Industry is optimistic that the opening of this market will bring a better industrial boom in the state. Directives have given by the state governor, His Excellency, Tanko Almakura to law enforcement agency and the task force to ensure that road side petty trading be stopped and that everyone should move into the market instead.
Curled from NasarawaReports as edited.

Angelanest: In a bid to urge Nigerian husbands to help their wives with house chores, this couple have got themselves trending online. According to the trending post which encourages men to assist their partners, the stress women undergo in their homes - make some of them look older than their age.
Read what was shared online;
Many women look 3 times older than their age because of stress and exhaustion. We marry them and then turn them into maids. You seat down in front of the TV with your phone and watch your wife work until she's about to pass out and just before she sleeps, you still want sex. Seriously, are you kidding me. Don't you see you are wicked?
As a man, who told you that it is wrong to wash dishes? Who told you that it is wrong to dress a bed? And there's this twisted view of marriage that has led to an increase in domestic violence where they'll see a man cooking and they be like "Guy, you need to get married so you can stop cooking". Let me tell you, don't marry a woman to clean or cook for you but marry to assist, love, cherish and enjoy each other.
If you are getting married because you feel you need someone to cook and do all house work for you, then get a housemaid. #Lets_assist_our_women... #Photosence #Caringhusband #Caringdad #Husbandmaterial #BringBackOurValues

Credit to Photosence: What makes women older is lack of exercise and healthy eating habit. There is no stress in washing dishes. No one said they should not rest. It's same with those with jobs outside without rest. Any woman, that drinks water keeps a healthy life style and avoid sugary drinks, meat, exercise, eat fruit at he right time cannot age faster. |

Treasure17: What do you expect when the budget for education in Nigeria does not match the United Nations recommendation. Very easy to label the products of these higher institutions as unemployable when the system is rotten. Fix the system and everything will work out fine. It is not the budget but stealing and abandonment of responsibilities that led to this. Is there anything stopping the universities from also seeking for research grants. Universities abroad seek grants in huge amounts which will take care of the research and other concerns of the Uni |

Greatzeus: The truth is why would I want to unlock a phone that is mine? Wont I just enter the pin or password? Most phones that are being unlocked by phone engineers at computer village and other places are stolen or bought from a phone thief. It would be good if there is a law prohibiting unlocking of phones without receipt. No , you can't conclude like that. I could well remember years ago, when I was using Nokia 1110. I change my password like twice and slept off, only to forget the current password which is because my intention wasn't to change but was just playing with the phone because I was bored. I made several attempt and guesses al to futility. So anything can happen. |

thesicilian: Is there a law against repairing or unlocking phones and other electronics without showing receipt?! The police can only invite the repairer to the station to help with investigations, not an outright arrest. I wonder what they teach these police officers at the Police Academy. cowleg: Its not about pumping more cash to the government owned universities, it should be about audition and prudent management of the available funds. Most of this funds end up embezzled. Imagine a school like imsu can never reply any email sent to the registrar for verification of students transcript. Wtf are the secretaries employed to do. Imsu has no functional email. Some companies and organizations sent email to them with no reply. No functional official email or phone number yet yearly huge budget for those stuff. Most Nigerians are not committed to Development but their belly |

HigherEd: True that. Imagine, if Ebonyi and Ekiti put 100% of their IGR together, they still can't single handedly fund UI's wage bill....
We've not even talked about what ui receives from TetFund, CBN and Philanthropist. People would do well to divide all these allocations by total number of students to have a better grab of what govt pays before slandering churches especially.
Now amazingly, ui is still an underfunded university. In fact UI needs 50 billion naira/year to be a proper world class university. But more importantly for UI today is a need for a better financial mananagement system than even more funding.... Being a world class university does not only amount to the size of funding but Idea and genuine usage. Don't forget that most of does quoted figures are even being embezzled. |

life2017: Even in the united state, the best known federal system in the world, US federal govt control offshore oil resources. International law does not recognise states when it comes to the sea. This issue has already be mostly resolved by Obansanjo under the Offshore/Onshore dichotomy on the 13% derivatives.
Some people like you lack wisdom. in the current system you don't have or control anything. There is a proposal to give u some control, wisdom should have made you calm down and grab it first before pushing for more. If u push for more now, you will get nothing but status quo Don't mind them. They think gragra is wisdom |

In as much as ranching is good, we are now tending towards the reality of a developed economy, where you have to pay for peace, and value. The cost of cow will definitely take an upward movement. To ranch, I will need an irrigation system for constant grass, I'll pay salaries to keep up the farm, vet doctor, taxes.
Africans need to start learning how to be moderate in consumption. |

She obviously had enough time to reach out and grab the keys from the ignition, she could have used that same time to climb out through the front seat door if indeed she was under any threat So how does this differs from all my explanation. Comprehension is a serious module |
