senatorbayor: This revelations now bring to fore the wastage in our system. I remember the fight between APC and PDP laying claim to who introduced T.S.A into the system having seen the advantages that accrued to it.
I hope same people who fought for or against will now be bold to accept the responsibilities of the wastage of fund that would have been plough to the federation account should the C.B.N. had handled same services.
At times, most people out of emotional attachment and affiliations to a political party dive to conclusion to claim certain policies as their initiatives but will be quick to drop it like a hot coal when same policies boomerang or have some shady arrangements underneath.
Just like AlphaBeta owns by Jagaban, who provide financial services to Lagos and some neighboring states with a certain % attached based on amount they can generate for the state, same seems to be applicable to RAMOTA (sorry i mean REMITA) company.
the question to ask is?
Can't our agencies handle such services and why contact such services to third parties knowing fully well amount that would have been saved for the nation should it have been handled by govt Agencies.
the govt as a matter of urgency should review all such related contractual services to close the gap of all loopholes that are avoidable and channel same savings to fulfill their promises to the masses.
I would have been happy if the company can render free services as a base of contributing to the nation by helping us gather the needed Database for the jobless and unemployed so that the govt can start payments of #our5k and other contractual promises that was hinged on lack of database for execution. I hope you have a plan of what to give back to Nigeria when you start receiving the said 5k |

razid: What exactly is the problem with this commission on TSA? We are talking of a system that is taking in a liability of 2.5trillion naira and all that we are after is just 25billion naira. I don't blame Nigerians, it's those pirates at the Computer Village Ikeja that I blame. They made it impossible for us to buy genuine softwares. That is why it is increasingly difficult to have a fully Nigeria made software that will be of global standard. What is their crime in charging 1% for crying out loud? Can't we look at it from the other angle that if anything happens to the 2.5trillion these guys would have been indebted to that tune? So how much is 25billion compare to 2.5trillion.
There should be a limit to the way we play politics sometimes. God bless you. All they want is for Mark to come and teach them how to use nairaland. What a shame |

If am able to see 10 of this type of structure around that place, now I can call it massive. We should not be celebrating those people for performing their duties.
Like seriously, some people go gaga because of this FTC. Nothing special. Poor Architectural piece. A Structure does not determine how efficient and effective a hospital is or would be |

The training is to help them communicate effectively on issues of public policy and good governance.
In a statement, Senator Isa Galaudu , chief of staff to Senate President Bukola Saraki, said the training is in line with Saraki’s promise to bring about a more representative legislature through use of technology and tools for an electronic parliament.

EternalTruths: You can easily reduce cost of production by establishing industrial areas and build special power stations for them to supply them electricity
In the case of interest rate and inflation rate, you can support the companies by not taxing them in their first 20 years of operation.
You might have a point. This is a long term approach but in the short run we can manage what we have at hand, only in the short run |

EternalTruths: You don't need to stop the importation of their products
Invite their companies to build factories here in Nigeria and send part of their profits to their home country in order to douse economic tension
I hope you understand the economic politics I want Nigeria to play.
Economic politics 101 I quite understand. Have they convinced China to stop artificial influence of their currency to encourage exportation? In an economy that has wealth without value like Nigeria I encourage this short term approach. Do not forget that we do not yet have the facilities to accommodate such industries. It is not enough to invite or for them to honor an invitation when cost of production is high, interest rate is high, and our inflation rate is almost hitting double digits. |

This technically means that man already understood the concept of good and evil (Life and death) even when he had not tasted of the fruit of the tree.
So what was the essence of the punishment meted on Adam and Eve?
What was the essence of the tree in there? Was it to test their inconsistency when it's obvious they were going to fail? What a dumb question. It's obvious the offence is disobedience. |

Sports › Re: 5 Reasons Why The Golden Eaglet Will Not Lift The Trophy In Chile. by Bluffly: 11:44am On Nov 07, 2015 |
Christmasdon: ,hey, friends, statistics or may be history is so vital when it comes to playing football. Now here are the three reasons why we (golden eaglet may not be able to win/won the trophy)
1. The malians are unbeaten in this competition. They have won 5 of their overall matches and drew one, while the eaglets won 5 and lost one. you see that the malians have high odds of beaten the eaglets.
2. Remember, the golden eaglets are the defending champions UAE 2013 ,so lifting the trophy back to back may as well witch haunt us, like that of the Uefa Champions league, no team club have lifted it back to back, you know what i mean,
3. The Golden eaglets and the Malian teams are two big rivals, remember when the pair met at the under17 African championship finale, they comfortably did beaten us hands down on a penalty shoot-out and hence won the Trophy. If care, is not taken such scenario may repeat itself.
4. This is the first time the Malians are getting their hands near a trophy on the international level, and they may not likely want to let it slip off their hands. Malians are very dangerous opponent, bring on any other team at this level, i would say yes, buh! Malians fear them.
5. The golden eaglets have won this trophy 4 times, the 4 trophies were mainly won on the ASIAN SOIL or continent, so, the golden eaglets have never won this competition outside Asia. So you see where the malians have their advantage over eaglets. So, with this stats you see that the malians will do better in this competition. So, as a Nigerian lets pray very well to make sure we beat the Malians, Meanwhile , defiling all odds of this stat. Thank you. Lets support the eaglets.

That's the only possible explanation I could give to all these depressing stories of corruption and misappropriation of public funds. Something is genetically wrong with blacks. Take a look at all the black countries both in African and in American continent or elsewhere as a nation, you would see the blood line of a consumer. There is corruption all over the world but black nations are not only corrupt but are like stagnates. I do not know why it's like this. |
