Who pays for IKEDC/ EKEDC bill?
Who pays for security bills in estate?

VISTIN: Nobody talks about Honda Tie Rod, but the Ball Joint. Let's be honest, it peculiar to Honda products, though I feel they're correcting that disaster in these newer models.
I deal on Honda parts, but don't compare Honda with Toyota. They're no match, Toyota is far ahead. It is not that Toyota is far ahead but rather than each brand trying to be unique. Do you know why the joints pull. Honda's lower arm ball joint has its nuts unde wh Toyota has its up. Honda pulls more frequently because the there s pressure on the ball joint than that of Toyota |

Op. Honda tie rod don't pull often but rather the lower arm ball joint and upper arm ball joint. Every vehicle has equal tendencies when it comes to the tie rod and cv joint |

Boeing777pilot: Well OP said they deal with complex financial theories so I presume the applicants should have some form of maths knowledge. Well that is right but you cannot know everything. The Op should have used parameters that will determine if they are trainable because if they do not have the skills they won't have gotten to that stage. |

Marxxx: I spent all my time in the university studying fish ponds...you see if the trainees feel they are not sound numerically why do they want to become financial experts? don't shield mediocrity. I studied Fishries and had guys that studied Economics and Finance, but I wasn't daunted. The position requires excellent numerical ability...... In every job as a trainee what you consider is are you trainable. Let me tell you that the lady that solved the question could be the dullest going forward. I am a hr person and I can tell you that that was not well done. |
Career › Re: Why I Refused To Confirm Four Trainees After Their Assessment Centre. by Bluffly: 9:09pm On Feb 03, 2016 |
Marxxx: I received a call from the Hr unit that they are sending 5 Trainees to me for confirmation. I was surprised because they didn't give me a prior notice. When I Queried the lady from the Hr unit she said the Senior Partner (HOD) contacted them that he will travelling to the UK that I can go ahead with the confirmation.
I was a bit nervous because I find it difficult relating with people, what do I ask them? Moreover I have too much on my hands already. I told Hr to give me an hour so that I can coordinate myself ....The truth is if you confirm a trainee and He/she under performs, it tells badly on your record. Here I am always striving to maintain a spotless record now this challenge doesn't look good.
Exactly an hour later Hr unit called again that they are on their way, I told her to take them to the conference room.....30mins later I joined them Lo and Behold I saw 5 well dressed gentlemen and ladies 3 guys and 2 ladies. I stared at them and they were looking back at me (which kind witch be this I said to myself) They thought I was testing them truth is I don't even know what to say or ask....."tell me your names I started".....after all the blah blah.....i went through their cv's it was good. 3 had first class. it was B.A trainee, I looked at their aptitude test performances read their essays great; yet I didn't know what further qstns to ask. So I wrote down a simple arithmetic on the board and I gave them 90s to solve. Only one got it right within the time frame (A lady!!!!; she bagged First class from Reading University UK). I thanked them for their interest in joining us. I sent my remarks to Hr and they were shocked. Hr Manager had to call me explaining that they have spent so such on the recruitment exercise and approving just one means they have to continue the exercise. I simply told him Mr ***a** you can confirm the rest.
This was the simple problem I wrote on the board.
€/€ - €/6 = €/12......what is the value of €?
So I am asking you, how good are you with basic reasoning? But Op, may I know what position you occupy in this organization? But either way you took a cheap route out. You used an hour to prepare for confirmation and ask such a question that actually can't depict your ability to give an on the spot solution to issues. For me you only covered up your weakness. What is wrong if you take a brief chat with each of them to find out about their relativeness to the company's goals and objectives. You should have cared to learn what they've learnt in the while, have a quick chat with their direct supervises if any, see if they are trainable For me I am disappointed |

Boeing777pilot: OP you did very well by confirming only one.
I'm very sure that the op wouldn't have set the question if it wasn't relevant.
And in case you didn't notice, if he confirms them and they mess up, it's on him.
If you made a 2.1 or first class, then prove it. Is it all discipline that had maths integrated. |

Business › Re: See Why The Naira May Fall To The Dollar At #1000/$ by Bluffly: 8:36pm On Jan 31, 2016 |
From my point of view, I do not see the fall in crude oil price as our major problem and neither as our major source of income. In as much as we have crude for income generating purpose, what has happened to all the tax we have been generating in this country that even comes in foreign currency. Nigeria is not a country where tax is as relaxed as Saudi Arabia. Our corporate Tax is not less than 30%, where are all the revenue being generated by FIRS, Customs, FRSC, in fact, we have quite a number of Departments that collects revenue in foreign currency but they will not remit the foreign currency but rather converts to Naira, keeps the difference and remit the Naira equivalent.
Our problem is artificial and man-made. Yes, Nigeria is not doing well in terms of local production to exportation but yet we are not meant to be in this mess. We are greedy and want to be rich over night. Can someone tells me what determined dollar to be as high as 305 in the parallel market? Can someone tells me while banks rate result to as high as 305 and they buy from CBN at 199.
I believe that we are in the dark and some people are just making money from all this bullshit. In as much as I understand what balance of trade is and the relationship with exchange rate, I have come to realize that some economic theories if not most does not exist in reality but on paper.
Why is US$ still our base currency, let us look for how other currencies too will chase Naira and not US$ in the name of base currency.
In fact, one can go crazy in analyzing the situation of this country becuase of the wrong individuals we have overseeing our affairs. Lets us look for how our Naira will be cased as well.

Op, I understand you. But I do not understand the issue of space. In marriage men appreciate reasonable thinking and respect a lot as much as women appreciate love and care. There can be arguments but must be an healthy one, both parties should learn to keep quiet at crucial times and think instead of ranting. In this case both you and your wife are to share the blame of the event. When there are arguments, if the wife think of submissiveness and reverence while the man thinks of understanding, it will never result to this. I am not in support of you buying her gifts to calm her and she should forget that space thing though both of you need it to review your actions and be remorseful. Just talk to her. Afterwards if she keeps using it to react to you going forward then she has never been your wife.
I can see you are good man and husband that I why you hate yourself so much for this but both of you just have to let go and focus on building a more focused marital life.
This has happened to me once too and was so bitter with myself after which my wife said somethings and I countered it immediately as well to erase such from her mind with points. I thank God because she is my wife and she is learning. Its not that she does not behave in a way that requires slap at times but I have resolve to always stand on my ground with on point line of argument.
Once you understand that no matter how you love and care for a woman she will still get on your nerves the better you will learn to always drop your fist and turn a teacher instead.
Note that most women think after talking or not think at all. Get understanding as it is your duty now to always make your arguments an healthy one by making sure that you silent all forms if noise in your communication.
