Nihilist: This article is so wrong I dont even know where to begin
1. The average employee typically works a 5 day week or roughly 20 days in month. I completely disgree with the premise of the OP's dubious calculations, but even if the calculations were grounded in some sort of logic, shouldn't the OP be dividing by 20 instead of 30?
2. The OP also misses the point by comparing an employee and his steady income to Hawkers, Truckers etc with their irregular cash flow. Again I doubt the veracity of his stats with regards to the earnings of hawkers, truckers and co, but even if the stats were true, The OP still fails to consider that even though the Hawker could earn 2000 Naira in a day, he/she is not guaranteed an income of 120k per month unlike the Banker
The crux of the OP's assertion is Business Owners have the potential to earn more than employees. The OP fails to consider the level of risk that these entrepreneurs are exposed to.
For the vast majority of people, it is better to go to work and be guaranteed your 300k monthly salary jejely, than to go and out hustle with no true knowledge of when the next paycheck is coming. I was about saying this as well. In as much as I rep business, this analysis is not so true. The Hawkers he mentioned is relative as we do not know the types of hawker he is talking about. He also forgot that even if the hawker makes 2000 per day, the same hawker might not make more than 500 for the next 3 days. I do not conform to your last line. To move our economy forward, we need to move away from being salary dependent and seek for greener approaches which will stimulate development, technologically and socially which will eventually boost the economy. |

Confessng: Marriage is not the ultimate, the wrong man or woman will destroy even the greatest person. Modified Some people are quoting me saying stuff, saying marriage isn't the ultimate isn't saying marriage is bad
What am simply saying is the greatest decision a person can make is in the choice of a partner and if you haven't found the right person you are better off single ,does this mean Mr right must be Mr Perfect ? No Many of us have seen two people come together and their world changes for good or 2 people come together and one person starts to go down..... Can you imagine what could have happened to Bill Gates if he married the wrong woman ? He won't be Bill Gates or if Oprah Winfrey was with the wrong Partner....
The deep will understand what I have said and haven't said as for the shallow ,am sorry my words are not directed at you If you stay out of marriage for the fear of marrying the wrong person simply means you are also a wrong choice to anyone. Those who stay out of marriage for the fear of a wrong partner simply believes marriage is a very smooth ride hence making them a wrong option for any one too. Marriage works because you are ready for possible compromises, so if you are not ready you are wrong. We only comment on beautiful pictures of couples but never knew that both of them compromise in one area or the other. Marriage is for the wise. You cannot pass if you are afraid to fail. How possible is it to look for the Mr right for the entirety if ones life, that simply means that person has a problem too. Its either he or she is proud, mixing in the wrong company, building in the wrong orientation, bla bla bla |

If it won't help eradicate poverty,
If it won't help bring stable electricity,
If it won't help bring down the price of petrol,
then ... It doesn't benefit me. Our banks have been surviving on government funds all this while which have made them loose focus on the economy responsibilities. To cushion the effect on them, CBN has reduced lending rate to the banks as well as cash reserve ratio to hold in with CBN thereby making the banks lend to SME at a lower rate as well and have enough money to lend. On the long term this will have a positive effect on the economy as well as its citizens. Banks should start lending SMEs and not the Dangotes and Otedolas |

collinspro: I am messed up right now and I need your advice. I work in a company where I report directly to a lady. My woe started when I went to her office one day to pick up a file. As I entered her office, my phone rang so I decided to take the call. The call was a bit long so she decided to get the file for me from one of the file cabinets. As she bent for the bottom drawer her skirt tore terribly exposing her panties. The phone almost dropped from my hand. I tried to hurry out of the office but she called me back to help her go across the street to stitch it. I was almost frozen. Ever since then she has been disturbing me to sleep with her.
She said she gave me the job because she love me. I just got married and don't want to cheat. Yesterday, she called me and and dropped the bombshell " if you don't sleep with me I will fire you". What do I do? I don't want to lose that job. I am considering reporting her to my general manager but I am afraid of the consequence. Simple. Ensure you always secretly record your conversations with her as regards the issue at hand. As someone as earlier advised, keep rejecting her with wisdom and if it wants to get out of hand, report her with the evidence you have. if you report her without evidence can be an issue. |

Contacted efcc icpc who I no contact yet no meaningful response. The truth is the business can be made secured by you. All you need is not to be too profit conscious. When a request comes in as such, request for Identification documents preferably International passport data page and a passport photograph and must be verified. Ensure that a signed letter of authority of transaction should also follow likewise making sure that the account which money is coming from some with the international passport and the PM account. In fact, the clients' bank must sign the letter of authority of transaction. The business is not bad, its just that you guys do not have a measure of securing the business. Politics › Re: Treasury Single Account Is A Fraud, Says Fayose by Bluffly: 6:05pm On Nov 15, 2015 |
centvin008: Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state on Sunday declared he was not attending the meeting called by the Federal Government with state governors on the Treasury Single Account, TSA.
Fayose said his decision stems from his belief that the Ekiti state government was not interested in the TSA policy introduced by President Muhammadu Buhari, which, according to him, is a fraud against Nigeria and its people.
The governor said this in a press statement issued by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka.
Fayose asked the Federal Government to rather remove the veil on the face of REMITA, the alleged firm handling the TSA contract, “so that Nigerians can know the real owners, through whom the All Progressives Congress (APC) is siphoning Nigeria money to fund Kogi and Bayelsa states governorship election.”
“From all intent and purposes, this TSA policy is aimed at recouping money spent on the last general elections by the APC, as well as raise money for future elections, especially the Kogi and Bayelsa States gubernatorial poll.
“It is also meant to enrich some individuals for doing virtually nothing and that can be seen from the discovery of N25 billion that already accrued to just a single company in one month!
“How can the Federal Government justify a transaction in which a single company gets one percent, amounting to N25 billion in one month?
“In this economic situation that Nigeria is, shouldn’t the one percent commission have been negotiated downward to like 0.1 percent which would have reduced the N25 billion to N2.5 billion? Even manufacturing companies, with thousands of employees don’t make N25 billion profit in one month.
“Therefore, what Nigerians are expecting from the Federal Government is explanation on the alleged N25 billion scam already associated with the operation of the TSA, instead of calling state governors to a meeting that is aimed at imposing the TSA policy on the states.”
Governor Fayose said the Federal Government cannot force its policies on states that are federating units in the Nigeria federation.
“Ekiti State is entitled to its own policies and it is not under any obligation to accept Federal Government policies, especially the TSA that is already robed in the garment of fraud.
“I therefore wish to state categorically that Ekiti State is not interested in the TSA policy and since the State is not interested, I, as the custodian of the popular mandate of the entire people of the state will not attend any meeting called by the Federal Government on the TSA,” he said.
But a recent report which supposedly emanated from the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, may have rubbished Fayose’s belief as it was stated that the parent body of REMITA had existed for about 20 years while REMITA, which is not even a company, has been in existence for about 10 years.
The report also showed that REMITA is not solely entitled to the one percent. Other participating banks are to share from the amount.
