Maryam was inaugurated as Special Adviser on Inter-Governmental Affairs, while Halilu Yahaya, Aminu Ibrahim and Rabi’u Ruma were inaugurated as Special Advisers, Special Duties, Environment and Resources Development respectively.

Speaking of inheritance, the Rabiu guy is a sibling of the Former Water Resources minister and member of the "Cabal", Alh. Abba Ruma.

Joy, Joy, Joy, there is JOY in my heart

See SADC tearing up right before my eyes, i thought its only 9ja that gets in such tight situations grin. If Zimbabwe votes for their own and the impossible happens, we have a new powerful ally in S.A, and Munya STILL gets out next time he's up, and guys, this is the WORST case scenario grin. I'm lovin it.

Basically, as to the reason for last night's breakdown, it's because he didn't like the person he was becoming, and he's been trying to change and the house was changing him back to his old ways. . . or something. <rolls eyes>

Education / Re: Which Course/subject Do You Like Most? Why? by BluMalam(m): 1:31pm On Jul 31, 2010
Jaytee67:

I read Accountancy at the University of Ilorin (1991/92 graduate). My favorite courses then were Business Law and Company Law. The reason being that those courses made one read wide and the case therein were very interesting. It got to a point that we nick-named one another in the class by some important jurists name such as Lord Dennys and co.
Though am a chartered accountant today and have no regret, but if I have my way (that is to say if I am less occupied) I will like to read Law in the years coming.

I loved Coy Law too. I'm also an accountant, working on being chartered (biz keeps gettin in d way). It gave me practical insight into company registration, Winding up, partnership etc. I was about registering a company then, so it was invaluable information on-time. I hated the fact that sections of CAMA 1990 had to be in my head, word for word. On that note, i don't envy law students.

_Abeg abeg abeg abeg  The house is so much fun right now. Hanningtons army (Meryl, Mwisho, Jen) are throwin everyone into the pool, then ending up in the warm jacuzzi. Hanny & Paloma wrestled to throw one another in the pool with mama paloma losing twice. Wherever Uti goes, fun goes (he wuz first in tha jacuzzi) but the guy is playing safe, all those guyz on d sms strap are so intimidated by anythin naija, its lyk dey think we gonna colonize Africa, to make mattaers worse, pretty Jen wuz sportin a naija-statement tshirt, Go Uti!_
Politics / Re: Bankole Gives Conditions For New States ! by BluMalam(m): 11:56pm On Jul 29, 2010
You don't have to prove any point to me my friend. What i would like though, are honest answers to the following questions.

1. If the yoruba were the majority (like 19 states), would you be doing what you are doing now?

2. You make the Yoruba sound like the victim, do you really think the Yoruba are the most marginalized ethnic group in the country?

I admire your consistency and resolve, but think through your ideology, you are sure to find some blank spaces.

Despicable. That killer cop deserves to hang.
MrPrsdent:

"Before we got here, the damage has been done. A policeman was in the pool of his own blood, and the hoodlums were using dangerous weapons to fight us. Initially, our men were shooting to stop the hoodlums, because some of them were using AK47 guns, machetes, and other weapons to attack us. All the DPO in and around Egbeda have been deployed to the scene, and more officers were deployed from Ikeja Division, to assist," he said.

Oh really, i guess the hoodlums also had their own helicopter hovering too.

The NPF i know would have massacred that area in the name of self-defence. AK47 ke, Catapult ni
