SmartPolician: Before 2021, the CBN used to sell $10k to registered BDC operators around the country every week or so just to improve FX liquidity in the country, but they discontinued the policy because they realised that those people would still sell it at exorbitant rates to merchants (importers) who were the primary target of the policy.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/breaking-cbn-stops-forex-sales-to-bureau-de-change-operators/%3famp
Now, the CBN gives the foreign currency to banks to release to business people. However, the terms and conditions for accessing dollars in commercial banks are very tough. Walk into any commercial bank and tell them that you want to buy dollars and hear their response.
Due to these harsh T&Cs, these business people are compelled to go back to black market in search of dollars for importing goods into the country. This further puts pressure on the scarce USD in the FX market. I also think the banks secretly sells to the BDC operators, but it's illegal.
So, the blame shouldn't go to CBN alone. The typical Nigerian mind is evil and it affects everything we do both in Nigeria and outside the country. It's a pity. Meanwhile,, Peter Obi, for instance, knows that these CBN regulators are the ones to be majorly blamed for this abnormality. But, being that he doesn't want to start off with blaming anybody, he looked beyond them, and tried finding solutions in seeking for how to diversify the source of foreign currencies from extensive Agricultural Exports, so that the so-called “short supply” of foreign currencies (which was the main reason the black-market was booming in the first place) can now be in good supply, and thus, stabilize the currency, and bridge the gap between the CBN rates and the market rates. |

Well what you don't know is that INEC just introduced new polling unit accross Nigeria

Even if there are 300-million Polling-Units across Nigeria, the exact votes that go in should the exact votes that were counted..
NO MORE,, NO LESS.Any other thing apart from this basic principle is fake and fraudulent. |

This Government is too shameless and wicked at the same time They would create a hole in the system, and still be the very persons playing inside the hole. And therefore, they are not ready to cover such a shameful hole. And they would be thinking that Nigerians are not aware. |
Politics › Some Undisputable Truths About The New Electoral Law 2022. by BluntCrazeMan(op): 4:06am On Oct 10, 2022 |
THE TRUTH ABOUT THE NEW ELECTORAL LAW:
1. No manual accreditation.
2. No use of incident forms.
3. All accreditation is fully electronic.
4. Accreditation is Bimodal, meaning facial recognition and finger printing.
5. No pre-election cases after conclusion of Elections..
6. No election cases after swearing into office of the winner.
7. All results must be uploaded to INEC official website at the polling units before taking it to ward, constituency, LGA or state collation centers.
8. If the number of votes cast is more than the accredited voters in the polling unit, the result is cancelled.
9. The number of accredited voters is strictly determined as captured by the BVAS machine.
10. No more agreement between parties to share the remaining ballot papers that were not used.
11. No more massive thump printing and stuffing of ballot boxes. If you like go and steal ballot boxes you are wasting your time. You cannot change the result.
The people's votes are going be fully counting now.
If you didn't serve the people well when in public office, or you are not popular in your political locality, it is advisable to save your money. Because the people will collect your money, and still vote against you.
The End of ballots-snatching has come to stay in Nigeria.
With the amendment of Nigeria Electoral Act, our votes now counts.

Before I go into the whole details of explaining the various terms, let me just hit my point straight. There is a big-time fraud going on with the whole foreign exchange black-market system in Nigeria, and the CBN cannot say that they are not aware of it (because they themselves are gaining from such fraud too)
The CBN “insiders” would sell the foreign currencies at the official CBN price to some fraudulent BDC operators who were claiming to be buying the currencies for some supposedly appropriate use. (That is, trying to fall in line with the CBN restrictions - and thereby telling lies that such foreign currencies are going into some other uses, whereas they are heading straight to the parallel market).
But these BDC operators would sell the same foreign currencies to the black-market agents at a price somehow lower than the prevailing Parallel-market price, so that these black-market agents can sell at a gain. Now, these fraudulent BDC operators would get back to these CBN insiders and deliver their share of the profit to them, in order to keep the source open for them to buy more currencies at the official CBN rates for reselling.
The major danger of this fraudulent practice is that, it would always cause a great disparity in the foreign-exchange statistics. That is, the data which the CBN published as the exchange rates that were sold (or purchased) by them for some certain purposes, are totally different and non-conforming with the data which the other Government Institutions are releasing based on the amount of foreign exchanges that went into the same purposes which the CBN reported.
With this fraudulent system in place, the Value of Naira continues to depreciate.
(These Fraudulent BDC Operators are in tight partnership with these CBN insiders, and thus, they are sort-of protected.)What causes the black-markets in the first place? It is caused by the poor management of the multiple exchange rate system which Nigeria is currently practicing. Nigeria runs a multiple foreign exchange system because the CBN restricts the amount of foreign exchange that can be bought or sold for some particular transactions (for instance, the Importation of some certain goods and services, in order to control them), and thus, such restrictions would be causing the excesses of the demand and/or supply for the currency to spill over into the parallel market - where the forces of demand and supply for the foreign currencies and the international prices of such goods and services in question determine the exchange rate, and no more the CBN. Where things are going on fine, there wouldn't be any problem with the parallel market system, and it is not supposed to be illegal, though unofficial; being that the demand and/or supply for the foreign currency would naturally balance itself out, which now determines a price-range for the currency. But in the Nigerian system, the restrictions are unnecessarily too tight, and these restrictions created a very high demand. But then, these same regulators are now the same ones creating a fake unofficial supply through the fraudulent BDC Operators to the black-market agents. The illegal supply of foreign currencies had affected natural parallel market, and thus, these black-market agents are now the ones that are majorly in charge of the Parallel-market. They are now basically the ones who now determine the Parallel-market prices for foreign currencies. Can an individual walk into CBN and buy Foreign Currency?
NO.
The present policy does not allow individuals to walk into CBN and buy foreign currency. The CBN only sells Foreign currency to Banks and Bureaux de Change.

Properties › Re: I Reported My Landlord Today by BluntCrazeMan: 2:12am On Oct 10, 2022 |
Anonymoususher: I am a yearly tenant and do not owe my landlord. The man decided to be greed and I had no option but to report him to office of public offender.
It happened that his negligence almost cost me my life and destroyed my properties, AC, TV, Shelve, speaker etc.
When it happened people told me to claim damages but I refused citing that I didn't want to take advantage of the situation, being alive is enough for me. The landlord was even begging me not to report the matter than he will compensate me. I told him I have no intention of reporting it, that he should just fixed his house back.
This man didn't fix the house, I called and called but he refused. I had to fix it myself and moved in because searching for a house is too expensive. I needed more time to search and get a better place. For two months I was out of my house because of the job going on. But when I moved in, I was surprised that this same landlord that begged me to be calm came and started disturbing me to pay his rent.
I was surprised, my rent hasn't expired, for two months I didn't stay in the house because of your negligence, my properties got damaged and I am not asking for compensation, I just moved in, yet to settle and you are pressuring me for a rent that hasn't expired.
I told him I will pay when my rent expires but will remove the money I spent doing work he wasn't supposed to do. This man refused and started shouting. I didn't expect him to behave the way he did after every thing that happened so I told him, I will be packing out of the house instead when my rent expires.
To my surprise the man brought a quit notice and asked me to leave his house the following month. Now that action got me angry and I decided to ask for compensation for my damaged properties.
Today, I filed a formal petition costing everything that got damaged and everything amounts to one million. The person handling the case after narrating the story to him and showed him video and picture evidence he became so angry and further extended the case to Lagos State Building agency which means the house will be surveyed for structural integrity and if it fails the test, demolish will follow.
I didn't want to toe this part but the landlord allowed greed to blind him. You caused someone damages worth millions, he didn't request for pay back, his rent is still running yet you are pressuring him to pay days after he moved in.
Let him face the consequences of his greed Please remember to give the updates on this abbeegg |

efelicity: I noticed a drastic change in my wife's behaviours lately. She doesn't cook, doesn't prepare our two kids for school, always citing body pains. I took the responsibility of cooking and preparing our kids. That is just by the way, she stopped having sex with me always saying she doesn't have the feelings to have sex. I suspect her of cheating because few weeks ago i heard her listening to WhatsApp voice note, a chat between her and another man. I demanded to have the phone but she refused. My wife answers calls at odd hours of the night but if i query her she would claim it's a friend or her boss at her work place. It's morethan a month when last i had sex with my wife.
I'm not harsh and I provide for my family. But my wife's behaviour ir burning me deep in my heart. I sometimes cry when alone in office or at home. Please advse me on what to do as iam pained and confused. One thing that is very bad about women whenever they cheat... Their main love-life suffers in the cheating. She pays more attention to the cheating love-life |

Those who are innocent of the atrocities being committed, even though they know the perpetrators, keep silent , like Makinde etal, or speak out as Ortom and Akeredolu do.
Only those who are abetting the atrocities, like Obi, sponsor public advertisement for 'information' even a child knows is Taqiyaah to hide their complicity.
Even in far away USA they can give you DNA evidence of Nwafors killings. Yet Obi is sponsoring stupid and decietful adverts. Goodluck to you guys.
After Obi loses next year you all should work for regional governance and make him the prime Minister of the SE. I can bet any money he will pardon and rehabilitate Nwafor to make him IG of your regional police force. .. . YOU WERE SAYING SOMETHING??.. .
