Politics › Some Disruptive Campaign Promises Which Our Leaders Are Finding Very Difficult by BluntCrazeMan(op): 9:12am On Jan 08, 2025
Good Morning Nairalanders...

I will be dropping some series of points here which I will tag #DisruptiveCampaignPromises#.
..

With these points, I will be suggesting some disruptive (change-bringing) campaign points for the Aspiring Presidential Candidates who really want a great change for our Country.

THESE PROMISES MAY NOT SIT WELL WITH A LOT OF READERS HERE.!!
BUT NEVERTHELESS, THEY ARE WRITTEN BY ME IN GOOD FAITH.

I MEAN GOOD FOR OUR COUNTRY.
I DON'T INTEND TO JUDGE ANYBODY, OR TO MAKE ANYBODY FEEL GUILTY.

1. Campaign about bringing about strict transparency and accountability in governance.
There should be undeterred and free online/realtime access to ALL supposedly PUBLIC Government Information.

CAN ANY OF THE CURRENT OR PAST PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANTS AND/OR CANDIDATES PROMISE THIS.??

2. Campaign about enabling unrestricted public Participation And Inputs in governance.

That-is, a promise to establish “E-Governance Platforms” where people can drop their opinions, reactions, criticisms, & feedbacks; and then, get these opinions, reactions, criticisms, & feedbacks promptly responded to and acted upon.

3. Campaign about developing institutionalized, automated, & automatic policies, which would create strong independent systems, minimize human interference, maximize outputs, and enhance prompt information availability to the public.

4. Campaign about amending the Constitution in such a way that all the arms and tiers of government shall statutorily publish & publicize their Audited Annual Financial Records, as well as their budget performance for each passing year.

5. Campaign about amending the Implementation of the items in the “Concurrent List” of the Constitution, such that harmonized legislative laws can be made at both the federal and state levels for the items on the concurrent list, in order to avoid conflicts of interests.

6. Campaign about amending some of the Laws which established some of the federal institutions & parastatals that are not on the “Exclusive List” of the Constitution, yet these federal institutions and parastatals are working in the various States without the input and proper liaison from these States, causing these institutions not to have adequate grassroot data and statistics for them to work with. Thus, these federal institutions and parastatals are supposed to properly harmonized with the state-governments where they are working - at the state-levels of such institutions and parastatals.

7. Campaign about putting in place systemic, instantaneous, automatic, adequate, and proportionate sanctions/punishments for wrongdoings, as well as adequate and proportionate rewards for good deeds.

That it is “systemic”, it means that the sanctions and/or rewards are already established, and are not easily thwarted.

8. Campaign about improving the GRASSROOTS INVOLVEMENT in security intelligence-gathering, and active public participation in the GDP-Growth.
(GDP-Growth is not achieved by the Government activities alone, but mainly by the activities of the people)

9. Campaign about Decentralized Community Policing, where the policing is partly-powered by the communities and their leaders.

This will make the Police Officers to have a high sense of RESPONSIBILITY and OBLIGATION to the People of the Communities.

10. Campaign about amending the Laws governing Policing in Nigeria, such that “Orders From Above” shall no longer be issued arbitrarily or informally or verbally.
It must be a written order.
Such “Orders from Above” shall not be Hidden from the persons who are involved or are affected by it.

11. Campaign about amending the Laws governing the police-communications in such a way that THE POLICE should have dedicated quick service-lines in all the States (+FCT) where the citizens can freely, quickly, and easily call-in and lodge their complaints and/or issues. The citizens can also call-in to dedicated EMERGENCY LINES where they can also Anonymously report urgent issues and emergency situations.

12. Campaign about amending the Laws governing the spending of the Security-Votes of the State Governors in such a way that the State Governments see to the procurement, operation and maintenance of Police Equipments, Apparatuses, and Gadgets in the State -- for the purposes of communications, gathering of intelligence, investigations, and security. This should give the State-Governments a high sense of responsibility towards the Police personnel in their States.

13. Campaign about installing a strict financial system where recklessness, unrecorded incomes & expenses, inappropriate & uncoordinated spendings are minimized & eliminated.

THUS, TO BUILD A SYSTEM WHERE “DATA AND STATISTICS” IS KEY.

14. Campaign about maintaining a robust holistic multi-purpose and multi-functional Citizens Data.

This “Citizens Data” takes record of the productivity, incomes, expenses and the movements and migratory patterns of the citizens, including Identification Purposes too.

15. Campaign about curbing corruption through the re-orientation of the citizens and their mindsets towards appreciating “having true value”, “being enterprising”, “generating wealth” rather than “just getting rich” & “spending money”.

16. Campaign about developing policies that would get the citizens to go into primary and secondary agricultural production, especially the primary farming, and processing of harvested agricultural products.

There are very many numerous untapped potentials in agriculture.

17. Campaign about making all the 36-States (+FCT) to look inwards within themselves and find out all those agricultural & mineral value-chains which they are naturally blessed with, and then help the States to harness these value-chains and make the best revenues out of them.

18. Campaign about amending the Laws governing the extraction of naturally existing minerals (whether they are solid, liquid, or gaseous minerals) in such a way that its extraction is decentralized and well monitored, so that many entities (both private and public) can be LICENSED to partake in it.
The Laws should be amended in such a way that the Licenses are supposed to be issued by the State Governments (+FCT).

19. Campaign about amending the Agricultural Laws in such a way that the State-Governments would give low-interest loans to LICENSED Large-Scale farmers under them, and then, keep accurate data of their inputs and outputs.

20. Campaign about enabling the State-Governments to encourage large-scale private-sector farming, and this would be achieved by subsidizing the agricultural inputs, and then, recovering these subsidies by applying adequate taxes on the Agricultural Outputs.

21. Campaign about amending the laws governing the generation of electricity (from any possible source), and the transmission and distribution of electricity -- in such a way that it is decentralized & monitored.
With this, many entities (both private and public entities) can be LICENSED to partake in it.

22. Campaign about amending the Laws governing Electricity in such a way that it is at the State-Governments (+FCT) who issue LICENSES to the Generators, Transmitters, & Distributors of Electricity, and not the Federal Government. Institutions like NERC are supposed to be properly harmonized in such a way that the State Governments can have their stakes at the State Level of such institutions.
Thank You So Much For Reading Up To This Point..
I so much appreciate.

How possible? cool

1day =24hrs =1440mins
So each of the 1000men will have just 1.4mins (84 secs) to sleep with her.

Which is practically less than 60secs because of the time delay between each man.

So all the 1000men must be 40secs men. grin
For that 24 hours, her body will become a tank filled to the brim with cum

Funny reading a statement by Governor Fubara that the Red Biro is still with him.

Technically, Fubara is not meant to use a Red Biro but a Green one according to Chapter 13, Section 34 of the Revised Civil Service Handbook (2010)

Wike as a Minister makes use of a Red Pen.

Please see attached.
Ok..

But we cannot start now to change it,, just because FUBARA and WIIKE were being petty and childish.
Travel › Re: Differences I Noticed Between Lagos And Anambra Lifestyles (Opinion) by BluntCrazeMan: 3:27pm On Jan 03, 2025
bigpicture001:
Having lived all my young to mid adult life in Lagos and then being transferred by my firm to it's Anambra branch , I have now lived here for over two years... These are the differences in life style I noticed

1. Business are late to open in the morning in Anambra compared to Lagos

2. There very few or non existent road side mechanics, most mechanics are in a street inside a compound and fenced unlike Lagos

3. There is still high sense of morality and believe in God in this part of Nigeria by majority of of the people bar the student areas where culturi and believes are imported from various part of Nigeria unlike Lagos

4. There is low level of northern population throughout the state unlike Lagos

5. Most nysc corpers are southwestern and igbos

6. Inside the public transport a new entrant greets the old sittight ones... Unlike Lagos

7. In Anambra, keke driver or bike rider would give u the money to go look for change in cases of no change btw him and customer while he waits for ur return , reverse is the case in Lagos

8. In Anambra , both driver and persongers will reject money to the floor in cases of incorrect disputed price of fare... All allowing ur conscience judge u... In Lagos it results to fight...

9. In Anambra, house rents are very high just like Lagos.. but transport is cheap

10. In Anambra there is a few major fuel marketers mostly filled with unknown names

11. U hardly see anyone criticize a preist of a catholic or Anglican church...

12. In Anambra, student decision of department to follow in senior secondary Begins from SS2 rather than in SS1 in Lagos

13. The senior secondary skls in Anambra are divided to just science or art, while in Lagos it is science, commercial and art.

14. Girls in Anambra are strongly money incited...they judge u by how much u show off..maybe same with Lagos sha

15. Banks are the highest paying private jobs in Anambra unlike Lagos where unknown companies pay huge surprise wages.

16. In Anambra the predominant jobs of the yorubas is tailoring, they are better trusted by the clients than indigenous tailors...
This No.16 shaa..

Glimpsetv:
A yet-to-be-identified man was caught on CCTV stealing an SUV parked by its owner at Otta Village, Anambra State.

According to reports, the SUV owner had parked the car in an open space while attending the usual Otta meeting in Oraukwu.

In the footage, another unidentified man driving a Toyota Camry (commonly referred to as the "pencil" model) was seen driving past the parked SUV. Meanwhile, the thief loitered around the area, walking up and down near the vehicle. A few minutes later, the driver of the Camry returned to the scene and stopped to speak briefly with the thief, who was standing a short distance from the SUV. After their conversation, the Camry driver left, and the thief walked straight to the SUV, entered the vehicle, and drove off immediately.

What remains unclear and puzzling is how effortlessly the thief gained access to the SUV and drove it away, sparking questions about whether the car had been properly locked by its owner.

The SUV owner is appealing to the public for any useful information that could help identify and apprehend the culprits.

Watch the video and share your thoughts in the comments.

If the plate-number is visible,, we could have suggested that you take the number to Vehicle-Registration office in order to get further information about the owner of the Camry.
Maybe you can start from there..

GistMedia0:
Nigerian businesswoman Oluwatofarati has stirred up conversations online with her strong opinion on DNA tests after childbirth. In a recent statement, she made it clear that if she found out her husband had secretly conducted a DNA test on their newborn, she would not hesitate to take drastic action.

“If I find out my husband had a DNA test done after I just pushed a baby out, immediately I leave the hospital, I’m leaving with my child and serving divorce papers,” Oluwatofarati boldly stated. Her remarks highlight the deep sense of betrayal and lack of trust she would feel in such a situation. shocked

The businesswoman's comments have sparked a heated debate online, with many supporting her view that trust should be paramount in marriage, while others question whether DNA tests are justified in today’s world.
Don't worry..

DNA tests would become very cheap in the future.
And it becomes ONE OF THE COMPULSORY TESTS at birth..

zero8zero:
Lauretta Onochie, a Nigerian presidential aide, has reacted to a video showing Canadians queuing for palliatives.

In the video, a large crowd of Canadians can be seen waiting in line to receive palliatives. The scene is reminiscent of similar scenes often seen in developing countries, where citizens may queue for essential items.

Onochie's reaction to the video highlights the unexpected nature of the scene, with many Nigerians expressing surprise that a developed country like Canada would experience such a situation.

The video has sparked a wider conversation about the impact of economic conditions and the importance of social welfare programs. Many have praised the Canadian government's efforts to provide support to its citizens, while others have criticized the perceived inefficiencies in the distribution process.

The reaction from Onochie and other Nigerians underscores the global nature of economic challenges and the need for effective social safety nets.

Romance › Re: I Caught My Father Cheating On My Mother by BluntCrazeMan: 5:37pm On Dec 28, 2024
purples25:
See what men are saying about a cheating man, unlike what they want for a cheating woman in the other thread.

Somebody even said men's cheating does not destroy the family unlike women's 😂

Same people wey attack me die because I said the man in the other thread should handle the female cheat calmly.
Nobody is saying that the cheating was good.
And nobody is saying that only men can cheat.

The main wahalla here is this...
Once you cheat and you got caught (whether you are a man or a woman),, then the repercussions are severe.. Either it leads to an unhappy home, or to a divorce, or to something in-between these two options..

That is why most commenters are trying to let the guy know that he can make his father to stop this nonsense and save the family..
Or expose the man and let the consequences start already..

The woman will definitely not take things lightly if she was never aware that her husband used to be that carefree with his sexuality and lifestyle. She may even have HBP sef join.

It's up to the guy though..
If it was his mom that he caught,, and his father was not aware,, I will still tell him to go and talk to the mom and let understand that she's doing wrong..
Because, if he rushes to report the mom to the dad,, the family will never be the same again.
And that's not wise too..

It's not about gender.
It's about handling things in such a way that it wouldn't burst and scatter.

The mistake is there already.
