The chances are higher in SA. Even the time of processing is faster than Nigeria. Meanwhile I'm not the diplomat myself, I only have the diplomatic permit( being a dependant). I'm only bothered about the date I would be applying, which is April and the permit expiring by December, would it be an issue? tannystacey: Ok. Don't know about that tho. You can definitely apply from SA but the question would be why would a Nigerian diplomat want to apply for study visa to canada from SA and not from Nigeria..
Make sure you have all of the required valid documents to support your application in SA. The Canadian embassy will have to authenticate and validate your identity in SA before processing anything for you. |

I see you're a young man. Take time to learn a skill, very important, either for home or abroad. CCTV, DStv technician, furniture making, plumbing, big generator repair etc. Perfect it and you'll make it with God on your side. You can also gather more money and go into business in neighbouring African countries that's viable for business like Cameroon, Abidjan etc. My opinion LEGITCHUDDY: THEN WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST BRO?? I JUST ASSISTANCE PLEASE |

Yes ,I intend to apply for the Canadian study visa from SA, I think it should be easier from there than Nigeria. tannystacey: What kind of temporary permit? Work or study? Do you plan to apply from SA? That will put a lot of things in context. |

Nawa oh So you wanted to migrate to SA on a tourist visa? You still want to enter SA as an illegal immigrant! Bro, there's nothing worse than living in a foreign country without your papers. Exactly, almost all Nigerians I interacted with in SA where looking for a way out , even professionals. Abeg can you help in my question? tannystacey: Turkey. Offers you better opportunities to move around Europe and get jobs after studying.
SA Will not offer you anything o. Getting a pr or job after studying has now become extremely difficult, especially depending on the course you are coming to study. As a PR holder sef, I'm looking for a way out of SA.
Better to be in Europe than to be in this African continent. My 2 cents. |

People should be extraordinarily careful when listening to advisers like you. All the best as you make efforts to leave SA on a temporary residence permit for Canada. |

It depends. If you have enough money that can sustain you without depending on work, you'll enjoy your stay in SA. I said this because I've been there. The quality of life there is really good. Both SA and Turkey are not good to hustle in as a student. Turkey is better to study in, and it'll be easier to migrate to other better European countries like Germany, Poland,UK etc. If you are looking to pay your tuition and survive on part-time student jobs, I don't think it's a good idea in those countries. If you have enough money, Turkey should be your best bet! money1000: Hello House, please I need an honest answer to my question. South Africa or Turkey which is better to go to study and live, thank you |

No Yhamo: Hello House, Is BTA (Basic Travel Allowance) still required to travel to SA on a 3 months visiting visa ? Those years, where you will have to have some dollars at hand before the immigration officers allows you to pass. Is it still applicable? or there are other ways to proof you have sufficient available fund for your trip?
Thanks Guys. |

I still stand on my words that I said some months ago that people should forget about SA and pour your energy on other countries.
They don't want Nigerians coming in but they can't come out openly to say it, so this is the indirect way of saying it so as to discourage people from applying.
I could remember what the immigration officer who stamped me in March at OR Tambo airport said about Nigerians, he didn't know I was invited by a diplomat in the embassy, I would have reported him but I just let it slide.
There's a cold war between south Africans and Nigerians , they remain hostile to us for now. I still advise we save the stress for another country. A word is enough for the wise. |

Use probiotics nitt: You sound like a medical expert.
I'm having something similar but not identical.
Mine is not watery but mucus with a lot of farting. It comes with very little mucus though enough to soil my boxers.
It's faeces mixed with mucus.
I tried everything then and most hospitals didn't have a good diagnosis for me.
I took metronidazole and x the rest but it kept on, till I stumbled on "IBS - Irritable Bowel Syndrome " whilst doing some online research on my symptoms.
The advice was to stop taking caffeine, dairy products, milk and sweeteners (I switched to honey instead of sweeteners & I still take lipton tea)
I stopped them and I got some relief but the thing is this days it is getting frequent inspite of me cutting down on the dairy products etc
Can you advise further on this please. Is my case similar to the op, because I feel it is similar in a way.
Thanks and God bless. |

You are a mumu man They are owing doctors salary... the president is always flying out of the country receiving healthcare. If the country is good, who would want to leave.. idiot! They can't stop people from flying out, they can even fly from Cotonou or Ghana in the worst case scenario Fineman87: I hear that the emigrating doctors interview has been moved to the Saudi Embassy. Well, the FG needs to come out hard on the Saudi Embassy. We need to threaten to suspend ties with Saudi Arabia. Or expel its ambassador. YES, we must do that. Why, I would explain.
First, We are in the midst of medical outbreaks of many diseases. We need our doctors to fight the diseases and the pandemic.
Secondly, if Saudi Arabia needs doctors, she should take advantage of the Technical Aid Corps and ask the Nigerian government for skilled medical personnel. That is the correct route for any sensible nation. Coming into the country to recruit our skilled doctors during a pandemic is outright madness. The FG must not allow that, else other countries would follow.
Few questions for the Saudis.
(A) is the Saudi Embassy a job recruitment company? (B) Are diplomatic missions job resourcing centres? (B) is Visa interview the same as job interview.
If we allow this. Other countries would follow and it would become allowable. The FG and Foreign minister must tell the Saudis that we would sever ties should that nonsense continue. If they want doctors, they should contact the Technical Aid Corps like other African countries do. Or they should train their own citizens like we do here. Simple.
Please, Nigeria must not allow this insult that the Saudis want to dash us. We are far bigger. If they proceed, we should suspend diplomatic ties or expel their ambassador. Nonsense. Oh, I wish I was a minister. I don't take shit. |
