That's not strictly true. The first Nigerian to win an Olympic medal in Taekwondo was Emmanuel Peters Oghenejobo (that's why he is ahead of Chukwumerije on my list). He won the silver medal in Taekwondo at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona.
