The solution to this quagmire is to ignore such comments.

I think I am going to stir up alot of critics this afternoon, and that is going to be my joy if we can all look deep into this fast growing habits of young Nigerians reading and rushing to comment without understand the in-depth of the topic discussed.

And by the way, does the topic sounds like a new slang of nowadays, a habit of READING COMMENTS ONLY (RCO) . looks like a memory in computer. I laugh in Chinese. That memory must be a very corrupt one. Reading or making comments without have an in-depth knowledge of a topic of discussion

I will be very glad if the moderator can help me push this discussion into an appropriate section. Moreso, I will like to keep the analysis short as possible.

My observation is that most youth of nowadays don't read the full topic posted before making comments which is very bad and shameful. I think, it is better to keep mute than to comment on a post you don't have an in-depth knowledge.

How can one have an in-depth knowledge of a topic is by reading thoroughly through the post and understand the content before making comment. It just like an act of listening before talking.

I will encourage the youth to improve on reading habit. This will improve our research level and general thinking.

We are intelligent, we have the ability to direct our course to useful purposes, we have all what it takes to be great, but when we don't have in-depth knowledge, we will continue to live on hypothesis. We will continue to assume on fallacy while our precious time and resources is wasting away.

Aidejay:
The bible was overtly exaggerated. The narrative structure is in such context that it either over emphasised or deemphasized.
Now I'm not saying it's false but In new light modern facts such as these archeological find show that even though the events can be corroborated they are easily not 100% factual. So therefore using the bible as the only reference for history is a big mistake.
Even as a religious text for doctrine the Bible is open to multiple interpretations.
More things will be uncovered by gods grace.
You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free indeed. You may believe to have a point which your honest opinion. But believe me, the Bible is not just a book, but the word of God. Remember, none of the word of God shall go unfulfilled.

I actually feel sorry for this country, when last did you hear that Norway, Australia, switzerland spent millions of thier currency on fighter jet.

Economic wise, Nigeria is done already! A country facing massive unemployment, food scarcity and poor home technology development , massive illiteracy and widespread of diseases due to poor environmental sanitation is spending a large amount of his revenue on old tokunbo fighter jet for a homemade insurgency and insecurity.

I hope that by the time they kill almost half of thier illiterate outgrowing population up there, We will know peace in this nation

You have poor knowledge of economy.
Foreign debt is bad for economy of any country.
I accept that I have poor knowledge of Economy, but your response to my post shows that you are not getting my point

I was talking about the Nigeria currency denomination and you are talking about foreign debt. No problem, continue.

Baba Iyabo paid of the paris debt which we all hail him at that time, but what about the introduction of 4 different denomination within the period of 5years. Have you look at the impact.
Politics4 Nigeria Denomination in 5 years, is Chief Olusegun Obasanjo guilty? by BNLR(op):
May or May not is left for God to decide but as much as I perceive about the economic situation of this country can be traced to some of the atrocities committed financially by the former president of Nigeria.

The above paragraph will serve as a disclaimer to my opinion concerning the pandemic that fall massively to the inflation level of this country as at the time when Nigeria was freed from millitary Government in 1999.

Let me give you a quick remembrance of how 100,200,500 and 1000 naira note was introduced to the economy without consideration for the negative impact.

I am not an Economist, but it is very understandable to see how we find ourselves in this mess since the beginning of modern era Democracy in this country.........Have you ever noticed how inflation started. It is a natural cause for seller to be attracted to your big currency when you want to buy something.

For instance, this morning, I walked to a mini mart in my street to buy some items with my 1000 note. The comments that came out of the sellers shows that if he have the opportunity, she will not want me to collect any change from the money because it is big. A milk that is supposed to be 100 was immediately tagged to 120 with the lamentations that everything is now costly. I can explain again if you don't understand that little encounter with a typical market woman in the street.

It is understandable that many people don't patronize road side seller. Instead they will buy all thier needs from the supermarket with a fixed price that they don't change anyhow just like the market woman on the street.

Back to Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Baba Iyabo introduced 100 in 1999, 200 in 2000, 500 in 2001 and 1000 in 2005. Within the period of Obasanjo's tenure, he introduced 4 different naira denomination which has really help to skyrocket inflation, Money laundering and corruption.

A sane country don't introduce currency denomination anyhow based on political gains or because Awolowo is in 100 and you must put the rest of the Nigeria hero in another currency.

If I become the president of this country, I will scrap 200-1000 naira note and introduce 1 naira note. It will not reduce our image as a country while it will be a bedrock for economic balance.

The Director of the school, Mr Samuel Medahunsi stressed out the needs for parent and Guardians to encourage thier children and wards to participate in outdoors games and relaxing activities, after many hours and weeks of learning in classroom.

Yes! Finance can be a big factor to parent children participations in Tourism. But, the perspection of the parent to traveling have to be improved as parent can use a day like Children's day to relate with thier children.

Without sounding very arrongant or proud, childrens who travel at early age are more confident than thier counterparts who only live from home to classroom. This may sound like my research hypothesis, but it is just a fact from experience.

I think some of the activities to be included in the school syllabus for children at pre-school, Basic and Secondary level is Excursion and Tourism. At least, students should have access to one trip per term to broaden thier learning horizons.

It is very unfortunate that, most parent don't have enough time to travel with thier children either for leisure or Education purpose, which is very bad for our future generations in terms of exposure and understanding other people way of life. As Tourism encourage Tolerance and boost respect for other people culture.

There are many benefits when children are allow to travel to destinations within or outside the country to have a physical encounter with what they have been taught in class.

As Nigeria is celebrating Children's day tommorow, 27th May, 2021. It is very important to emphasize more on the right of children to travel and see the world beyond thier various home and classrooms.

Spiritual issue should be avoided, but the history and civic Education must be hammered well.

Not funny that the flag was not put at half mast for a young lady pilot who was crushed to death in the same Kaduna

Nigeria Coastal Tourism; Pros and Cons
By Olusegun Celestine Oni
Monday, 17th May, 2021.

Permit me start with a sad mood, by crying over the Atlantic with vast resources been wasted around the Coastal Area of Nigeria.

That statement above should not have been by introductory paragraph, as I suppose to start narrating the concept of coastal Tourism to novice or, design a sweet statement that will want you to park your bag and start exploring the vast coastline area of Nigeria.

I believe it is never a mistake to called Nigeria the giant of Africa, as this most populous black nation on the planet is really blessed with everything except good leadership. I repeat, Nigeria is blessed with almost every resources that God has created for human enjoyment and survival.

It is a great priviledge for Nigeria to have been positioned on the longitude and latitude that centered southward to the great Atlantic Ocean where costaline stretch from the center of excellence to the deep down creek of Port Harcourt in Rivers State.

Coastal Tourism should have been a great asset to Tourism industry in Nigeria, as the illiteracy of our leadership and bad gorvernance has made all road block for Tourism to strive in the country.

Majority of the Coastal Area community in Nigeria had been abadoned on thier own survival. Leaving the line to shanties and epidemic of waste and diseases due to poor sanitation.

Unfortunately, many of our leaders and well-to-do Nigerians travel to the caribbean on a daily basis to enjoy what we have here in abundance.

When are we going to identify our own prospects? When are we going to start developing them for our coming generations? Should we just allow the private sector to run this country better than the lies of our so called "Mixed Economy Scam"

Providing a sustainable Coastal Tourism in Nigeria is not all about sending and demolishing houses of the locales. But through strategic thinking, Nigeria can adopt a true african ways of Hospitality through the interaction of the tourist with the locales and ensuring that the original settings of the area is been managed properly.

To be continued

I am presently on a field work at one of the coastal area of Nigeria. And I hope my findings will help the government to provide a sustainable platform for coastal Tourism in Nigeria.

Life can be unpredictable to some certain extents. But Men decision can be very careless sometimes in breeding children.

Did anybody remember the days of our fathers, when having many children is a blessing for thier farming business. The more the children, the more the workforce.

Reverse is the case now, as technology is rendering many people useless and making them lazy on daily basis.

I am actually bringing this up from the perspective of farming. It is suicidal to raise many children in a city like Lagos. But can be a blessing to a farmer with a large Compund in the country side.

Never let your background lay your back on the ground. Snap out of poverty by either trace your root and be happy or end up miserable in the city.

My points though
PropertiesRe: Why Renting An Apartment In Lagos Is So Expensive by BNLR(m): 7:20pm On May 09, 2021
foreshore:
Your report did not touch the main reasons why renting an apartment in Lagos is expensive.
Rent is a determinant by forces of demand and supply. The dwindling the investment in the real estate sector by government and to a large extent private individuals is the major reason why this problem persist. During the civilian rule of former Lagos Governor Lateef Jakande, their was massive investment in this sector coupled with the availability of funds in the hands of private developers unlike what is prevalent currently. It's just natural that all the factors enumerated above will be eliminated if the existence of available properties exceed the demand.
Government are not interested in this country again. All there life savings is somewhere in the Middle East, most especially my Northern Brothers in politics

Very unfortunate that Lagos did not have more space than that. The remaining swamp area of ibeju Lekki is even attracting multi million dollars project like the Refinery and many more.

Very soon, Ibeju Lekki will be the most expensive place to live in Africa

Hi guys,

The last time I checked, this post was created 2016 and that is 5 years ago.

After 5 years, I had come in term that Nigeria is loosing focus on feeding the nation.

I hope we can join this conversation again to ignite the youth about the need for agriculture.
The law can be changed to foster a majority looking at Agriculture.
