If truly PHCN was privatized, how come this is possible? How come bank workers and staff of other serious private organizations don't go on strike? What's the business of the new owners of the DISCOs with previous employees of PHCN owed by government? Why should private company employees be made to fight on issues concerning a defunct failed government institution? Are private universities staff on strike in support of their colleagues in public universities? Should the entrepreneurs that invested in the power sector now regret absorbing retrenched staff of PHCN? Are the leaders in government suffering the effect of this outage (when their generators could run till next year at public expense)? What exactly is this action supposed to achieve?
