you can apply for direct entry to Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry. I'm very sure of that. I don't know if other schools will accept, but FUTA will accept your OND in SLT
.You can't apply for MLS direct entry with OND in SLT.

To Begin with,Congratulations on your admission.

You won't know how lucky you are until you see aspirants with higher aggregates than yours who are as at presently have not been compensated with any course(no matter how unpopular it is).

To your question,Both courses(Sociology & Human Kinetics) are not under the same faculty and are not even inter-related whatsoever.So,you won't be able to change after your first year.

As Bobola will often say to people,It's advisable you gladly accept the course now and then re-take UTME this year and re-apply for your desired course in any institution of your choice.

The guy involved should just accept what he has at the moment. if he still desires his course, he should pick up 2018 UTME. Apply to another school.

but am also considering the admission hustle and facilities since Unimed is new, they should have better and the latest equipments and facilities than OAU.

consider the fact that OAU is a federal university while UNIMED is a state university.

if you are considering ease of admission, well, you might go for UNIMED.

i have not been to the teaching hospitals of both schools, so i can't attest to state of equipment.
maybe other bosses can contribute to this sha.

★The Course you changed to(Human Kinetics) is most likely the choice of course for Law and CLA rejectees with intimidating aggregates like 64,66,68 which further shrinks whatever feeble chance you might even hope for.

My humble and brotherly advice for you is to quickly register for the forthcoming UTME so you can have more than sufficient time to prepare ahead since your score has a stake in deciding your admission.

And I'm sorry if my response appears too hostile. . .I can't feign confidence in your admission when I know you stand no chance.

depends on the school. officially, some require a minimum of second class upper, while some accept second class lower.

however in reality, you need a very strong upper, if possible, a first class sef cos of d fierce competition.

Bro, I'll suggest you pick up 2018 utme form. You might not end up getting elect elect looking at your aggregate being 3 points behind cutoff for a course as competitive as that.

so as I said, pick up this form and start preparing ahead. if UI later gives you elect elect, then that's a win win situation for you. if you're offered another course, you might decide to accept or reject it and if peradventure you aren't admitted at all, you'll be able to forge ahead with good preparation for 2018 utme. This is just to keep you safe on all sides.

So, you can do some maths and set minimum targets that will give you nothing less than 65... cos we can't say how next year cutoff will be like. but targeting 65 aggregate will be very okay for physiotherapy. all d best

Direct entry is usually competitive, because of the number of aspirants involved and the limited spaces available. And since the modalities used to admit DE isn't made public, I'll advise you have nothing less than a very strong second class upper. Be informed that you will also be competing with those presenting A'Level certificates, and I heard UI gives more preference to them (I heard ni o).

Another piece of advice bro,

if you can, and if it is allowed, apply for both UTME and DE. Don't apply to the same school oh. you can choose another school of your choice for UTME. (If your current skul offers medicine, I'll advice you apply DE there, then apply UTME for UI)

It will boost your chances.
