Also, I am yet to hear about any case of reject because of a stale wassce result.

This subject combination is absolutely wrong. Psychology is a social science based course in UI so Lit-In-Eng is out of context here cos it's an Art subject. And besides, Biology is mandatory.
Please, kindly advise him to register for this year's JAMB before it closes incase his hope is still alive due to his high score. He should as well be extra-careful in his choice of subject combo.

i recommend the coloured too

economics

govt

as psalmiel posited, the subject combo is wrong. however u didnt state weda thats his o level or utme combo.

that biology factor cost a lot of psychology aspirants their admission in 2016.

Hi chief,
No one said it was connection free in fact, getting admitted to a tertiary institution in Nigeria "man know man" is usually involved. what we are saying is that UI will not deny you admission if you hit the cut-off or probably just a mark below. UI's admission ish was the easiest I've ever done.

anyone admitted for BDS here?
I salute everyone.
how is the admission hustle going?

Yes. BDS
You're welcome.

No be today Pple dey use connection enter school na. But as someone else posited, if you meet your own cutoff, You won't be denied admission. Admission is every man for his head. Anyway u can follow to get admission, follow it. If u do ur work and u merit tour admission, e dey. if you were close or not, and u were admitted based on connections.. e dey also.

hy everyone!!! i'd really need someone's advice... i'm currently a student of unizik studying applied biochemistry (100l) but it has always been my dream to study medicine and i'd really like to change my course. here in unizik u can only change to medicine from 200l nd u are not even certain of getting it so i was thinking of taking another jamb but am scared dat it might clash with my 1st semester exams because its also starting in march... i'm really confused and would really need someone's assistance. tanks

Hello. I understand your fears perfectly well cos I've been in that shoe. it wasn't even in 100L. It was 2016. I was in 400L, biochemistry and I took jamb form that year only for me to have it on a date I was to have a departmental paper too. I couldn't get the jamb center in my school. I was posted to OAU to write my exam.(2hrs from my school).
I took the risk, didn't spend much tym on the UTME but I answered all my questions, but I missed my exam before I could return back to school. so I had to do d course again in 500L together with my normal courses.

I didn't gain admission in that 2016 tho.

Bro, I believe its part of the sacrifices you have to make to get hold of our dream.

Its a risk worth taking. if it clashes with your exam, do your best if you can appeal for modification on the timetable (That might not be easy tho cos you're in 100L and u should be doing borrowed courses for now).

and who knows... it might not clash.

its better you don't regret your inaction by then.

In conclusion : my advice- Take jamb form now. when your date is released and it clashes with your exam, you can take a more concrete decision by then. If it doesn't, then you can proceed

If its MBBS in the north, I recommend Usman danfodio university Sokoto. They are very transparent in admission process.

I second this recommendation. The school publishes its cutoff publicly so you get to know your stand. I think they used only jamb last year, and MBBS cutoff was 290..

Hey docs,am a jambite aspiring for mbbs but i later heard one must pass through remedial program before admission for mbbs.pls is that so ?

which school are u applying to?

anyways, remedial isn't compulsory to get admission. for skuls that offer it, its not a guarantee to admission, unless you have a very good score in it.

for you, just pass ur jamb nd postume excellently, beat cutoff, nd u are in.
