Even if we agree that the figures posted by el-Rufai are wrong, cant the SSS simply give us the correct figures since they have now left their primary assignment and are now experts in the economy.

PoliticsRe: Atiku Says Violence May Be Inevitable by Boboribo: 9:37pm On Dec 15, 2010
Is it possible Atiku stumbled on the Bible passage where it says ", and the violent taketh it by force."
PoliticsRe: Atiku Says Violence May Be Inevitable by Boboribo: 8:59pm On Dec 15, 2010
This Atiku that is cooing round nigeria is desperate 4 power, his agenda 4 us is 'inevitable violence'.  Is the supreme constitutn of the F.R.N, Should the pdp miss the presidency what happens to zoning?  This reminds me of oct. 1, 2010 eagle square slaughter.
To answer the bolded, they are fighting you from all fronts.  I am sure you would have noticed that apart from GEJ, all other Presidential aspirants of note are northerners.  So if PDP losses, my guess is that the zoning champions will still be satisfied.  Just my guess.  I just wonder why the south has decided to put all its egg in one basket.  Seriously, deep down in the inner recesses of Ribadu and Buhari, they go with this zoning formular.  They just want southerners to feel good by not using it as a stepping stone to make us feel they are different.
PoliticsRe: Atiku Says Violence May Be Inevitable by Boboribo: 8:47pm On Dec 15, 2010
I was only trying to educate Atiku about Nigeria political history, and as the lawyer saying, that he who must come to equity must come with clean hands.

Fact: NORTH RULED NIGERIA  34 YEARS, SOUTH 16 YEARS.

If the North are crying of equity and fairness and using zoning as mechanism to get the fairness, then Power should remain in the south for the next 18 years, you will see that SW is not seeking Presidential power at this point, first SS who is the current President, then SE. then minorities
And why do you think the SW is not interested in the Presidency?  You still falling into the same zoning issue that you want me to believe you are against.  You seem to believe this thing should go round.

Wow, Nigerians are finished! lol. "Highest show of Solidarity"? lol. Who the hell is this fool? Never heard of him.

The way I understand it a Yoruba man won a Presidential Election fair and square. Instead of him being sworn in a President he was incarcerated and "Killed". The Hausas, seeing that the Country was about to disintegrate, handed over power to another Yoruba son. Is that a "sign of goodwill" as stated by this monkey? They had no fuxcking choice!!!!

If the Hausas truly seek reciprocity they should hand over, and allow, 1000 of their most brilliant and richest political leaders die like dogs in the hands of the Yorubas

Everybody should read and re-read the above. That was the true state of play for this nonsense talk by Athefku, a political love-peddler who cannot account for where he got his money from. A common Custom officer?

The North BORN TO RULE led by their godfather CIROMA has not tell Nigerians the full story, so they may start their violence. out of 50 years of Nigerian independence , The North ruled for 34 years, south barely 16 years, and they are talking about zonining of incompetent people. Once the south do another 18 years we can then start to zone left right to centre. In 2015, it will be the Igbo's, and minorities in the South then minorities in the North before Hausa/fulani and Kanuri's. YEYE MAN FULL OF DESPERATION
With the bolded, you sound like the zoning champions yourself.
PoliticsRe: Atiku Says Violence May Be Inevitable by Boboribo: 8:17pm On Dec 15, 2010
I am surprised people are surprised.  You mean you actually did not see it the coming?   I saw it months back the moment the speculation became rife that GEJ was going to throw his hat in the ring.

Now the roforofo begins.  Why is the 2011 project looking like a re-harsh of 1993?  Then it was North V. South.
PoliticsRe: Saharareporters: Dora Akunyili's Resignation Letter by Boboribo: 6:58pm On Dec 15, 2010
^^^ d former minister of state for finance, Remi Babalola resigned honourably.

@ all, I propose dt by next week she floats a Facebook campaign page, buys advert space on Nairaland and hires a Blogger for campaign manager on Nairaland. I may ) wrong bt Dts d new trend.
Did he announce we was leaving the PDP to join the opposition?  re you sure he was not forced out?  Were there no issue then of Babalola claiming NNPC was broke and the government strenuously denying that fact.
PoliticsRe: Saharareporters: Dora Akunyili's Resignation Letter by Boboribo: 6:52pm On Dec 15, 2010
And she isn't contesting for the Senate out of greed?
You people never cease to amaze me. Your excuse for her incompetence as an Information Minister was that she was a 'square peg in a round hole'. Is it now in the Senate where she will just be one voice in a gathering of thieves that she will be a 'round peg in a round hole'?

I'm shocked you're 'surprised' that she resigned now. It appears you're not aware that the elections are set for mid next year. if not now, when would you have her pick the nomination form? next year march? If anything, she left it too long sef, there are people in APGA that have put in more sweat and energy for the same position she's vying for.
I see I am up against people who hate her guts.  Can you have an Orubebe resigning now?  Do you know of any quarrel between GEJ and Akunyili?  Frankly, when it was rumoured that she'd be resigning this week, I dismissed it.  I am sure you also realise that in these climes it is difficult for people to quit.  I am not going to touch on her competence or otherwise as a Minister because you cant find that in my post.  You brought it up for a reason. You are just trying to drag me into a debate I am clearly not ready for.
PoliticsRe: Saharareporters: Dora Akunyili's Resignation Letter by Boboribo: 6:40pm On Dec 15, 2010
@kobo - please restrict yourself to this GEJ era.
PoliticsRe: Saharareporters: Dora Akunyili's Resignation Letter by Boboribo: 6:36pm On Dec 15, 2010
That is a lie! She is not the first to leave and certainly not the last. Just because, yet again, she has chosen to PUBLICIZE her leaving in this manner does not, I repeat, does not make her any hero or different from the others who silently walked out. Please DO SOME RESEARCH FOR YOUR OWN SAKE!
@ kobo - easy. I guess you dont fancy her generally. I am simply referring to the times we are currently in (campaigns and all) Help me out with the research. How long has GEJ been in power? How many Ministers have resigned under his watch. Its not a matter of Dora being a hero. I am just surprised that she could do it now. Believe me there are many Ministers and Special Advisers who would wish to toe the same line but out of greed or fear cant bring themselves to do it NOW.

You've been really drinking the Akunyili kool-Aid, haven't you?

While you're at it, why not also praise Akunyili for stopping global warming
Regardless of what you think of her, I am sure sure you will agree that its not easy in these days of sycophancy and a.s.s leaking for any body to look the the president in the face and "say I am leaving your party to the opposition" especially now that GEJ  needs everybody on board and on the same page.

That is were my amasement stops. It needs not be stretched further.
PoliticsRe: Saharareporters: Dora Akunyili's Resignation Letter by Boboribo: 5:02pm On Dec 15, 2010
Seriously this woman never ceases to amaze me. When MEN cannot look GEJ straight in the face and say I am leaving PDP, this woman does it. GEJ must now know that not all the Governors are with him. This woman has got b.a.l.l.s.

What Beaf has failed woefully to understand is that criticism of GEJ does not mean endorsement of Atiku. Its that simple
