Yar Adua is the only to tell us whether GEJ was loyal or not. Sadly he is no more and you think you have said anything? |
His children school in Nigeria because up until recently he was a nobody. Are all his accusations crimes? |
What does he mean by being loyal to his wife? Wont he have more wives if he were a Muslim? |
I suppose those of you who dont believe Atiku will keep his word know that GEJ also said he'll do just 1 term too. So? |
@Marfnaira - Its Plea Bargain and NOT PLEAD Bargain |
@Missy85 - Sheik Maman Tahir |
She is in IBB's house since IBB is the root of ALL problems in Nigeria. BTW are his sins blotted now he's no more vying? |
@BoboriboIn about 3 times that you have responded to my posts, you have cleverly refused, failed and/or neglected to touch on the issues I raised just like you accuse IBB of doing in the interview. Are GEJ people trained to dodge issues and raise new issues. If my posts do not merit any response, you'd do better to ignore them. |
Remember OBJ will not live to see Atiku enter Aso rock. The Aboki has failed already. Is it OBJ that determines who "enters" Aso Rock? |
So typical of Nigerians not to give anybody his due. The blame game just has to continue - IBB killed and maimed, Atiku looted, Saraki is greedy and Gasau is a greenhorn. So convenient to heap all the atrocities of an administration on the deputy or vice when it suits us. After the Military coup of 1983, Ekwueme was the villain and Shagari, the saint and for 8 years while Atiku was supposedly looting, OBJ was sleeping. How come in GEJ's case the reverse is not the case to blame him while exculpating Alamiesigha? |
this thing sef is just a bunch of media lies.PM news had to cook that up to sell its evening edition and you've fallen for it. |
So now that IBB has lost out are his sins blotted out because in typical Nigerian fashion those who shouted the most will just conveniently forget the alleged atrocities until he resurfaces maybe in 4 years time and the blame game will continue. |
Now that IBB is out, let's start fabricating something to knock Atiku out. First stop Ota, then EFCC office. Now what? ![]() |
@Koruji 3. Yes, 40 years from now, we will still complain about him as the greatest evil to befall Nigeria. A despot with no conscience. He would sacrifice anybody for his ambitions, including his closest friends, with animalistic unfeelingness, although he is guilty of even worse crimes. The singular problem I have with IBB bashers is that you sound as though all had been well with Nigeria before 1985 when be became Head of State and EVER since everything has gone gaga and will not be put right except the man suddenly drops dead. How can you in all honesty still complain about the man 40 years from now when you'd have had at least 10 different Presidents from 1993 till then. IBB bashers are simply his Chroniclers and have simply refused to Chronicle Nigeria which is bigger than the man himself. It was very fashionable for Obama when he ascended the Presidency to heap all the ills of America on Bush until the American people somewhat spoke in the last mid-term elections. My point is simple. Move on. The blame game is not catching on anymore. |
@Boboribo@ Kuruji - I only used Fort Knox (thanks for the correction) to create a scenario and the morals there is that when someone does anything no matter how stupid, if he is intelligent, you simply give it to him without sentiments. Your like will still be complaining down the line 40 years from now about IBB. What has happened in the intervening period of 17 years, you can't tell us. You want us to believe that all has been well with Nigeria since the past 17 years and all will be probably well from 2011 when your GEJ will spin straw into gold. Is it because of IBB that you spend 12 hours commuting between Lagos and Benin? Find out from an elderly person the time it took to connect lagos and Benin by road in 1993 when he left. I suppose that is an insignificant point too. |
All the questions IBB asked Nigerians are the same questions I use in informal discussions to silence his critics. Simple question here again. After 17 years why have successive governments not been able to right the wrong allegedly committed by IBB. I am sure that if IBB is not contesting come 2011 and is SOLIDLY behind candidate GEJ all this barage of criticism against him wont be heard of. Funny enough those who did not bother to read the full interview are the ones shouting the most. Put this man on a debate with your GEJ and you will know that GEJ is incurably a mediocre. Hear this. You know what Americans will call someone who is able to break into Fox Knox - Intelligent before being called a thief. Yeah the fact that the person is a thief does not make him unintelligent. The fact that IBB is whatever you choose to call him does not make him unintelligent. The man is simply intelligent. Period. Why is it that it is only when IBB puts himself up for election that people cry blue mother? The sentiment running here has blinded our judgment. The way we carry on, you'd think the man just left Aso Rock 2 years ago. How many of us making comments here were even up to age 10 when he left in 1993? After the Holocaust, the Germans and the Jews are friends today. Mind you I wont vote for him come 2011 but we've go to move on. Its a shame that the alleged rot committed 17 years ago has not and it seems cannot be corrected until the man is no more. Shame on us. |
You no go fit find BEAF for this kind matter because he knows his guy is talking TRASSSSSSSSSSH. |
I am really surprised that this thread did not deviate to and ethnic issue between the Igbos and the Yorubas as usual with one insulting Akunyili as Igbo and the other saying "hey you, leave my sister alone" Shows we all love NAIJA abi ![]() |
I just noticed that the bashing of IBB on NL has abated. Is he no longer a force to be reckoned with or the "bashers" have realised that the tirades were misplaced. |
where exactly did he say this? oh, in a "private" audience with the candidate in question. hmmmmm, no quotes, no mention of any of the candidates, no nada. Are you the only one in Nigeria who does not know that GEJ is a "candidate"? Which other candidate do you expect him to mention? |
Are they gonna help us vote or help us rig? |
By Daniel Idonor - www.vanguardngr.com ABUJA — Former British Prime Minister, Mr Tony Blair, Wednesday, declared that world leaders and the international community were fully behind the re-emergence of President Goodluck Jonathan as Nigeria’s next President come 2011. Speaking during an audience with President Jonathan, the visiting Tony Blair and the Chief Executive Officer of JP Morgan Bank of the United States (US), Mr Jamie Dimon, disclosed that it was the confidence of the international community on the ability of the Jonathan-led government that the famous JP Morgan Bank had decided to do business in the country. According to Blair, there was a huge amount of goodwill in the international community towards supporting his President Jonathan’s efforts to achieve rapid socio-economic development in Nigeria. He noted that the decision by JP Morgan, one of the world’s largest banks, to upgrade its representative office in Nigeria to a full-scale branch was a vote of confidence in Nigeria and the Jonathan administration. 2011: Everyone expressing great deal of interest Blair in a chat with newsmen at the end of the visit, said everyone, including the international community, was expressing great deal of interest, great deal of excitement for the elections and everyone is anxious for the elections to be conducted in the best possible way expects. “I think all the preparations are there and there is a lot of expectations and home around Nigeria which is a great thing. Back in the West, things are pretty difficult politically, difficult economically. There is a hugely enhanced interest in Africa and in Nigeria, so everyone is kind of working and rating. There is a lot of hope and excitement,” he said. Nigeria to generate 20,000MW of electricity Jonathan, in his respond, said Nigeria should be generating 20,000 mega watts of electricity by 2014, enough for use in homes, offices and commercial enterprises. He projected that by April next year if the administration’s plans for the sector are fully implemented, Nigeria would begin to witness power stability. To achieve this feat, the president said the Federal Government was tackling challenges in the area of power transmission, stressing that government intended to move as quickly as possible on the construction of a new National Power Transmission Super-Grid to replace the existing grid which can no longer meet the nation’s power transmission needs. He told the visitors that Nigeria would welcome support from international finance organisations and global banks such as JP Morgan through long-term financing for the super-grid project which is critical to assuring the sustainability of stable power supply in the country. Jonathan stressed his administration’s efforts to boosting agricultural production in the country through large scale commercial farming as well as measures being taken to sustain peace in the Niger Delta. Russian on bilateral agreement Meanwhile, also yesterday, Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, Mr Sergey Lavrov, came calling on President Jonathan to follow up on the implementation of bilateral agreements signed during President Dmitry Medvedev’s official visit to Nigeria last year. Jonathan assured the foreign minister of his administration’s willingness to facilitate the implementation of the agreements and the expansion of areas of economic cooperation between Nigeria and the Russian Federation. Lavrov told the President that Russia was very keen on “enriching” its relations with Nigeria through large scale economic projects |
It has just occured to me that in a relationship understanding the person should come first before loving the person. I feel if you love first it wont aid you to understand the person but if you understand the person first you will be able to know whether to even fall in love at all. I know there is something called love at first sight but shouldn't we try and and patient enough to understand the person first? |
A girl ( or guy) is either SINGLE or MARRIED. Period. All this ~in a relation with bla bla bla or married to ba bla bla means absolutely nothing. Once your profile says you are married it should convey a message to the reasonable man out there. The fact that your profile says you are single is not an invitation to treat for the whole world. |
Both - misguided and foolish. He should aspire to be a Senator first. Must everybody having a first shot at politics be the President? |
Tell this 2 the marines. Waiting for a group that will say it was carried out by Atiku & another by Gasau and by Buhari |
Those who mouth this "Rimi and Germade contested against Obasanjo" rubbish should be reminded that the duo were not sitting public officials who could rail road everybody into submission as GEJ is currently doing. |
There will even be more problems in future if we continue a zoing policy without clear time frames on who should take turns when. Please I need someone to tell me why NO CREDIBLE CANDIDATE from the South West, South East and South South has shown interest (IN THE PDP) |
If there is no zoning in the PDP why are there no CREDIBLE CANDIDATES from the South West? and non from the South East? an only GEJ from the South South? (from the PDP, I mean). My guess is that they feel and know it is not their turn yet. The wahala to come is better imagine. Those of us wishing the zoning thing away should have a rethink. |
Me, You, Them. Rubbish. Dressing is in the heart. |
Same old strategy that will affect the credibility of the process. Does it man corrupt governors who support zoning can go on with their looting spree? |
