My people oh, una well done. So, my sister's IELTS results came out today:
R - 8.5 L - 9 W - 6.5 S - 7.5
I'm advising her to remark writing as I am positive for a change there, but for better respite (and refund perhaps), do you advise she adds another section to remark? Which would it be? Thank you. |

Yes oh. Adunnee: @boco2126, I pray the lines will fall unto you in pleasant places. Don't worry. Your set time of favour is near. Hope you have all your docs ready. AOR shouldn't exceed a week after ITA o. Wishing you Godspeed. |

Thanks for this! But, lol...I also want to be at the other side of the divide and give people in the pool hope too jare I remember when you were also in the dilemma of waiting for ITA and had to go the CBT route to increase your scores. You did, made the next draw and got ITA. We didn't, as we were still on 450 then (since feb actually). Same day of that draw and summoning strength from your bold step, I encouraged the Boo to write IELTS CBT (booked same day the 450 draw and nov 2018 tie breaking rule came out, wrote, waited for results and updated our profile 14th May) and we moved to 460...we were so certain of ITA the next day; 15th May and then FST draw happened from nowhere . Then the 4 week hiatus and boom! 470 now. When will it reach 460 again? Or back to the days of 438 and co? We were just shattered and had a heart to heart yesterday (when we both were done sulking on last wednesday's draw) we have decided to take our minds off and not be too expectant. There's really nothing we can do at this point than to WAIT and keep living our lives. No pressure on when we are planning to leave Naija. No deadlines...just LIVING till God's time for us. It will end in praise jare. Scandinavian02: As a member of this group, I can state some facts which may heal some people’s anxiety. Stop stressing about 470 score. Even applicants with 460 crs are panicking. Consider these points before having anxiety. 1. FSW draw happened after one month and three IELTS test results released within one month and you don’t know how many haves scored CLB 9 and updated periodically. 2. The government of Canada has a budget to hit annually and they know better than us when to lower down the CRS. If draw will stay at 470 or 460 and if they will invite 3000 instead of 3690, then budget not hit which results in loss of revenue. 3. From the last 3 years, IRCC is not hitting their budgets because with more ITA, rejection rate increases and currently, the rejection rate is 12-14% 4.Canadian economy stands on 1.65 Trillion dollars GDP and IRCC alone contributes 31 billion $ into GDP. I don’t know when immigration will stop or lower down but not this time because if they will pull out all immigration budget that will cause in losing at least 1,00,000 jobs in a year and Canada cannot afford it. 5. Garnish your mind by reading government plans or good immigration articles instead of exploring conflicting information. 6. Please do not stress about elections. No one knows what will happen. If conservatives will come, it will be good like Liberals. DO NOT FORGET Conservatives introduced express entry in 2015, not liberals which ease the whole immigration game.

LMAO! You guys should wait and see my ITA story I have already written down...just waiting on that mail first. True, we cannot force you to share...we don't even know you, but if you must, please give us something to read. Even if you had a smooth journey, let us know what you did differently so that the tappers of your timeline can tap in peace. Someone shared stories on what happens at VFS, Q-Life or Alagbon etc and it was added to page 1 for the benefit of those coming behind us. It doesn't have to be PPR stories alone. Let us celebrate the ''small'' wins too, it's one for the team (all of us).
And stop the annoying comparison with other forums or nationalities. People do stuff because they are who they are. If the other forum serves you so well, I doubt you'll be here. |

Good advice. Though we are 450, we have also began to consider spouse writing CBT to boost the scores. A quick question please...how many days did it take to get your results after the CBT? Scandinavian02: This is specifically for those in the pool with CRS of less than 450. Honestly, no one knows when it will come down and most of us are only saying it will come down by faith. Please if you need to learn French to boost it, please go ahead (This Canada waka now na street gist, E dey mouth of every Nigerian wey sabi read).
I made the above post when I was almost getting frustrated with the consistent CRS of 450+ every fortnight, I decided to register for the CBT with BC in less than a week. I scored an overall bad of 6.5 and boosted our CRS to 460. We are hopeful of the next ITA after 3 months.
Please explore all avenues to boost your scores cos afraid dey catch me with the kind CRS wey boys dey carry enter pool sef. recently, i see 475, I come tell my wife say we no get hope again ooo with our 448.
All the best bros and sis' on this journey. it would end in praise for us all. |

So my spirit has been down because of this. Team 450. Two months in the pool. So indecisive about my current bills, it's making everything scattered one kine but I'm keeping faith. Surrendering to God's ways and not mine. Thanks Johnnybravo1990 for this. Congratulations to everyone smashing one hurdle or the other. johnnybravo1990: After a long while, the first sub-450 draw soup coming today. If you believe it by faith, like this post. |

PM me for a contact for law school transcript if you haven't gotten any. MumofTwins2017: It’s great to be here. I have been a silent reader since Part 5 . Coming out to the light! Still gathering documents against entering the pool. Transcript from Law school has been a headache for over 1 month now to send to WES. Hence, my status has been on hold since February. Thankfully i am also using IQAS and so far there is hope for my ECA report in April/May. CRS is at 449 with IQAS evaluation on my side (as a professional degree). IELTS was done since Dec 2018 with LRSW 8.5,8.5,7,7. I have and still learning a whole lot from everyone here. Congratulations to all PPR clinchers. We are all hopeful. |

I feel you too. Team 450 and waiting. #Kashamadupe is my state of mind youngRx: All through 2018, even when just 3000 ITAs were issued, scores only went above 450 twice.
The very week i smashed IELTS and finally jumped into the pool with 450, cutoff jumped to 457 and refused to drop below 450 for 7 weeks and after 3 consecutive draws now. i mean, what are the odds??
My village people, una welldone ooo. make una free me nau.
Congrats to all ITA clinchers...really missed those days when every draw Wednesday comes alive with different people dancing and rejoicing in an ITA rain. Now it's jst a drizzle, with one or two drops here and there like a draw never even held in the first place. |
