MsTom:
I believe that point 2 would have worked in the generations of our parents. Women nowadays dont care if their partners cheat on them. Just be careful.

Funny, one can not prevent one from cheating except that one person. But you can help avoid it. Treat your woman good in front of all others. In the room, give it to her like no man has or will ever do. same goes for the women. Work him out!

Constantly say the three popular words " I love you". Most Nigerian men dont. Maybe they are shy or they feel it is not just african. If you see any thing you have doubts about, talk about it immediately. Do not delay. Delays plus suspence can actually kill relationships. I know it sounds fishy for a woman to have a secret phone with only 2 names and who happen to be men. But then, she could have a reason. Ask her!. I would ask my hubby if I saw a secret fone with women's names on there.

Thinking of divorce based on that? you never know how many secret phones the other woman could have. deal with what you have now
I agree with the highlighted (red). Today, most single girls (whether undergrads or not) have married men as lovers/bed-mates. I ve heard girls say they've never dated a single man al their lives. I keep wondering what kind of marital life such girls will lead when they get their husbands: Is is gonna be suspicion all thru, or free for all, or anything goes, or that of utmost full trust. I keep wondering. An 18 yr, even 16 yr old is dating a married man. When in her 20's (God will help them), they get married, what will be their view about husbands. Can they ever believe husbands can be trusted? Can thry roll up their sleeves and cross their legs? Ladies, u may have to anser this. I cant stop thinking about that.

Meanwhile,
ALL our ladies are scared to their marrow how seriously men take the case of wife infidelity. They're scared, they cant talk again. Not funny abi? Tnx MsTom though 4 taking d bull by the horn.

Christianity EtcRe: Is It Proper To Label Pastors As Crooks? by Bokoharam: 3:52am On Jan 25, 2010
Most ( I repeat & mean MOST) pastors are crooks. THey choose what favours them to preach and drop what Christ preached b/c it doesnt favour pastors. Christ NEVER emphasised money, tithe/tithing. Rather CHRIST encouraged PERSEVERANCE, LONGSUFFERING, LOVE, FORGIVENESS. Tell me where Christ preached Tithe in the Bible, except where he used it to criticise d pharisees & saducees?

Pastors choose what favours them. Do u know in that same law & old testaments, the Bible says a menstruating woman should NNOT come to the church? Why dont the pastors obey this one? Simply b/c half of d women population will miss church every Sunday; loss of money to the pastor. Why dont we buy goats & rams and burn them? Why?

Education is not for the poor.
Communications is not for the poor.
Healthcare is not for the poor.
Infrastructure (power, roads, water, etc) is not for the poor.
Food is not for the poor. . .

. . . etc, etc is not for the poor. So what are the poor left with? The opportunity to die like dogs?
Internet. lol

Anyway, I dont think d VC could have that. I don't think so.

Joagbaje:
I dont believe this post. I dont think a pastor will demand firstfruit for his pocket.Whatever you give to God through the Pastor in Churrch is for the church. What belongs to the pastors pocket is his salary or allowance and whatever individuals are led to give him according to the bible
U dont believe b/c u re nt in Nigeria(?); or u ve nt been 2 such churches. In some churches, it s all abt money & donations & sowing of seed. And d pastor keeps riding excellent cars, wearing the most expensive clothes, having many properties, while d members beg bread.
Christianity EtcRe: Should Our First Fruit Go To The Pastor's Pocket? by Bokoharam: 2:08pm On Jan 20, 2010
Let us beware of these money-money-money pastors. They are NOT from God & NOT Christians. They're just fraudsters. If your pastor talks about money every time, you've got to watch it. He's an antichrist. Christ also warned us before hand about them.

Fraud: Pastor, 4 others jailed 71years
By Our reporter
Tuesday, January 5, 2010

The saying that whatever a man sows he reaps, rightly captures the conviction of Pastor Michael Spring Inyang and four others whose hope of enjoying the proceeds of crime was dashed as they were made to spend Christmas and begin the New Year in prison after the courts handed them various jail terms shortly before 2009 came to an end.

[b]Inyang, the proprietor of Christian Millionaire Club is to spend the next four years behind the bar after Justice Olubunmi Oyewole of the Lagos High Court found him guilty on all 17-count charge filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The pastor, who used the name of God to defraud hundreds of his followers began his scam in 2006, when he registered an organisation known as Christian Millionaires Club through which he persuaded victims to part with their resources with an assurance that bountiful rewards await them here on earth and in heaven.

The convict also told his victims that his club was affiliated to a popular Christian body in U.S.A and as such whatever they contribute would be rewarded in manifold at the end of the year. This led many of the victims to sell their properties, while some borrowed money from the banks to invest in the club.

Almost immediately, Pastor Inyang’s life changed for the better, he moved from one room apartment in Egbeda to a duplex in a choice area in Lagos while he bought state of the art cars to complement his new status. But their hope was dashed when at the end of the year, Inyang was no where to be found. So in 2007, the case was reported to the EFCC and he was later arrested. After the completion of investigation, he was arraigned before Justice Olubunmi Oyewole of Ikeja High Court where he was eventually convicted.

platinumnk:
so what exactly are u saying? undecided
He is saying exactly what I meant when I said thus:

Bokoharam:
I hate when the Church (Christians) leave Christ and begin to preach Abraham, David, Solomon, Ezekiel & Malachi. I believe we know how much Christ orchestrated mammon and worshipped money. We tend not to know the difference b/w Judaism and Christianity.

Probably we call Jesus a fool. Satan is truly at work. May God forgive us for Christ's sake.
Living under the law means 99% success is equal to 0% accomplished. That's what the Bible says.

Christ never emphasised money. He never asked anybody to bring money to him. He never preached tithe and tithing; the only place He mentioned it was sarcastic, when He was referring to Pharisees and Saducees. And that is why He warned us that on the last day, many pastors who "performed wonders on earth" will be asking Him to come and deliver them. That's what He meant when He said that many are called but few are chosen.

Ultrame:
@ Engineer96

What exactly are these parameters sir?

I'm not really sure you know anything about this issue on ground and if you do, you conviniently forgot to mention that:

1. UNITY BANK posted a loss of 8bn in third quater while your 'healthy' southern Oceanic posted more than 400bn loss in the same quarter.

2. UNITY Bank is very solvent (has no liquidity broblems) which means it does not need any bailoout fund from CBN, while your 'southern' intercontinental had to suckle on CBN's bailout unmentionable to pay its customers.

My guy, banking is more than beautiful buildings and attractive CSOs. Sanusi is doing the right thing.
Tnx Ultrame.

Sadly, most commentators on banking & economy issues do not hv d faintest idea of how these sectors run. They tend to see d external - big buildings, fine cars, smart-looking employees & skimpy-dressed girls. What an ignorance!
