I am a worker in mthe church. Sometime last year, Someone called my attention to a lady that crossed her legs inside the church. My reaction was, "would you rather have her open her legs wide for worshipped to see through?" it was not up to 3 minutes before over 5 people told me the same thing. Of cause, I told them there is nothing wrong with that. I told them as a matter of fact, girls are advised to cross their legs to guard their vital areas. Since them, I have never been told that. Nobody also told me any reason it should not be done.

I advise you ask for the girl's (mother of his daughter) picture, so you can match it with the one being flaunted on Facebook. I believe as a smart girl, you must have saved the one on fbk. Dont be surprised if thr picture disappears from the 'radar' to cover up his ploy. Ask to see the other lady's photo. It must be in his album, laptop or somewhere.

Try it and let me know what you discovered.

You truly sounded like a good girl. You only need to move on with your life. I believe it is wrong to put up another woman's photo as profile picture for whatever reason. The reason should have also been discussed, but since he refused to talk about it, it must be something fishy, or something sinister. My dad was recently kidnapped. Those fools beat him up, slapped him, used knife on him, hit him with the butt of a gun, kicked him--that's a 70-year old man. They have no conscience, they don't care a hoot; One then imagines what they could do to a pretty 30-something like Nkeiru.

No, please! There is no need to offer such lxb acceptance advice. This is not the best kind of advice this guy needs now. There is nothing without a remedy. For her to realize she is doing something bad (let's assume your theory is right), it means she can easily come out of it. The problem with most people is that they indulge in something bad, yet do not have a feeling it is bad.

I tried to see if you talked about her age, her occupation/status but could see it throughout the first page I read. How old is she? Is she a student? These could help in deciphering what her problem could be. The advice for a teenager will be different from the one meant for a girl in her 20s, and also 30s etc.

But I can tell that more teenagers are suicidal than girls in older age range.

Anyway, you have to use wisdom. Let her know you, without necessarily referring to her diary, noticed her withdrawn behaviour. If she doesn't open up, you may then tell her about the diary. I don't know how close she is to you because that is what would determine the outcome of this exercise. tell her you love her sincerely. Time is of essence here, because a suicide doesn't say when it happens.

My greatest shocker was when the kidnapper asked me, "How much did you pay MTN to track us? You think you are smart eh? If you don't remove that tracking, you won't see your father again!"

Do you want to know why? Because the very pastor of that/those church(es) want and like it so. An Igbo saying goes, "a man is like his belongings". My church used to (past tense) send people out of the church for indecent dressing; even on wedding services, I'll-clad visitors were prevented from coming in. But today, because these ladies are the 'financiers', it appears things have changed. And like someone said on the first page here, the devil appears to be winning the war.

By the way, should a Christian dress well to church and go naked outside the church premises? Isn't that hypocrisy?

It is only in Nigeria, where the value system is deteriorating and skewed towards money and trumpet-blowing, that such is news. Sadly, your sermon is the same message today by churches including mine, which use Jesus (one modest, gentle, kind, compassionate man) as a cover up to consciously or unconsciously stir youths into stealing, corruption and concomitant show-offs. Money is NOT (now modified) the basis of existence. There is more to life than money. Life does not consist in material things you have or acquire. Ghana understands it, and that is why corruption is unmentionable in GH. God bless Nigeria and the youths, and let us know that vanity remains nothing but vanity.

I see many of such in interview sessions and even banks daily. That is what happens when attention shifts from foundational issues to materialism. This is just the beginning. So shameful that people are defending nonsense, fraud, criminality and wickedness exhibited by 'Men of God'.

These same pastors are the ones dragging the name of Jesus to the mud--a wonderful Jesus, who lived a modest life, never associated himself with the riches of this world, and never found frolicking with the powers that were; a man who chose to go to Jerusalem with the cheapest means of transportation in His time (a borrowed ass!); a man who never collected froml those who came to Him, but rather gave them free food. Will Jesus ever forgive the church of today?
