No comments, cos, for sure, some of the ghosts are on NL! |
Freiburger: $3,000 each and life goes on. shebi the kids no get right to a good future abi? CORDROSS: The Super Eagles collected so much for playing for barely 3 weeks. They got so much by not dying. And those that died in active service received 500,000 naira = $3,000. Na wa o....Do we read at all? The state also gave them N1million each. These must be outside their their Normal entitlements. We are talking about $20,000 here. And, hey, remember where we are coming from; I mean the police. Compared to what obtained before, this is highly commendable. |
pompori king: Maybe d guy still dey with in babe for hotelThat''s not sensible to say, with all the kidnapping going on in Lagos! Try n put yourself in this position. |
Keneking: I thought stop and search operation by the Police has been banned. Are you a ritual killer? Which one be your own? |
Then, this place is for you: https://www.nairaland.com/1096607/dr-fireman-poster-all-hot Good luck to you! |
There are many like him that we sheepishly follow!!! |
timilehin007: Am I suppose to pity her..? I bet she must have been warned several times against the used of hard drug that eventually took her life...U r just wicked and heartless to speak this way d dead, young lady. You are not even sure of what killed her. Maybe, you should also lose a sister to feel the pain too. |
A welcome relief, though this will not make sense except the govts of SS and SE (the most ravaged by kidnapping) joins hands to sign the same into law. |
The average Nigerian boss will not like Osaze because we love ego, and like people that we can intimidate. The average Nigerian boss does not appreciate a subordinate that will point out his faults, tell him, "Sir, I don't think we are doing it the right way." The average Nigerian superordinate has that inflated feeling of pride, and would want to kill if he feels this ego is punctured or bruised. People like Osaze, brilliant players, will never work well with such bosses because he does not believe in sycophancy, arsse-licking, eye-service and cleaning of shoes. But, such people I respect, because they are the people that change the world, make inventions, and teach humble bosses how to do things better. I love Osaze anyday! |
wellmax: See OP, Americans don't allow their mad men roam the street! You hear!!!...And Americans cast their beggars in jail like Fashola, a SAN, just did??!!! ![]() |
Do you know that is exactly the teaching of Jesus Christ, as what would take people to heaven? (Matthew 25: 34-46). It is also likely to be what Mohammed preached. But sadly, Christians have left this noble teaching, thinking it is giving their tithes to rich pastors that will guarantee them a seat in heaven? I love the average Muslim, they are better than the average Christian. For your info, I am a Christian--to the core!!! You can say anything you like, the truth is bitter. |
I saw earlier a pix of Joseph Yobo presenting the trophy to Mike Adenuga. This obviously happened before the trophy was presented to Mr President. Is this proper? Shouldn't the president be the first to receive the cup in Nigeria. Just curious. |
NEPA equipment vandalisation, Kidnappings children & adults, ritual killings, armed robbery, police harassment/killing of innocent people, all on the increase in Lagos, while the 'wonderful' state govt headed by a SAN is busy pursuing Igbo traders about and throwing beggars into jail. A shame! What a failed state. Eko oni baje indeed! |
jackbauersballs: Up BiafraStop that crap! We are talking about 'innocent people' being killed and you are here raising unnecessary sentiments. Do you realize how many police officers that are killed in the North daily? What of Lagos & SW? Biafraland is still the safest place to stay in Nigeria. |
Fashola has failed...woefully. I never knew people can change this fast. Anyway, whether with Armoured Personal Carried (APC) or ACN, Tinubu has lost Lagos to PDP by share stupidity & irresponsibility. |
Freewilly: Frence police try sha that they even gave him escort cars and a convoy.Surely, u don't understand diplomatic issues. |
jackbauersballs: Up BiafraStop that crap! We are talking about 'innocent people' being killed and you are here raising unnecessary sentiments. Do you realize how many police officers that are killed in the North daily? What of Lagos & SW? Biafraland is still the safest place to stay in Nigeria. Check out this in the so-called safe Lagos, which happened last Sunday: http://www.punchng.com/news/robbers-kill-two-soldiers-injure-one-in-lagos/ |
People should try and get themselves educated about the accounts they run in whichever bank. Most Savings accounts have terms and conditions for which interest is paid monthly. Most savings products in most banks stipulate that you must NOT do more than 3 withdrawals in a month before you are paid any interest. But what happens is that bank customers in this category allow their accounts to run a diarrhea of cash outflow on a daily or weekly basis, and still expect their account to earn monthly interest. Banks need to plan with money. And no bank would want to pay any customer interest on a Non Earning Cash (cash that has not been deployed to use). Until cash gets to CBN (at times taking up to 2 - 3 weeks), or given out as loans etc, banks do not earn anything on this idle csh. It therefore explains why a business man who deposits daily cash and withdraws the same day, or weekly may not get interest. Please, visit your bank and let them properly explain to you the account plan you are running, and the T&Cs. |
Wadeoye: The same old rusty train and GEJ buutlickers are making noise. Is this the transformation he promised? Some people are just daft! So, a rail system that was abandoned for decades will just resurrect under 2 years? You try. For your information, even if you have all the billions in dollars to fix the rail system, 2 years is not enough to do that. |
N32Bn = 2 years jail term; N25,000 = 5 years ![]() Terrible! |
Built2last: There is one way out of this mess. Take a census of the tribes in the army and publish it for ! Nigerians to see. It will be clear which tribe has dominated the army for over 50 years. When someone arises to right wrongs people will wake to evil agitation. Obj came to power in 1999 and retired many generals and divided the armoury to all regions of Nigeria and they shouted that he was giving preference to Yoruba people.until we accept Merritt as a country, we may continue to be on auto reverse..Good point. But, You that because hates Census, simply because of the Igboman. |
The truth, does she still remains the same after the man marries her? Does she not do so because she wants to catch his attention and get proposal. Does she continue with these fake sacrifices that deceived the man in the first place. Just asking.... |
izuch: "2nd" they should not rest on their oars till the game is overWhich oars? Do they have one, let alone resting on them? They are the underdogs and u r here talking about oars! Abegi!! |
honeric01: Speechless, expelling a student for not paying school fees? what happened to holding unto the cert until he balances up?In our time in the university, Federal unis never expelled people, or prevented them to write exams for failing to pay their tuition. They only withheld their clearance after degree exams. That was in the 90s, up till early 2000s. It is a shame for the country. Meanwhile, the church that should help the poor Is busy flying private jets, buying properties worth billions but NEGLECTING THE WEIGHTIER MATTERS (Matthew 23:23) Tearful. ...But then, a kidnapper must suffer for his actions. No alibi, no defense can absolve him from responsibility. |
Big, old fool! Was Nigeria better when you were the president? Nonsense! |
He appears to be Buying time... |
The devil is gradually winning the war! |
Jonathan appears worse than the previous presidents/Heads of states because, today, we have the Freedom of Information in action. When the others were in power, worse things happened that we never got to hear about. That is Nigeria for you. And I still insist that the problem of Nigeria is not Jonathan, OBJ, IBB, not PDP (is ACN the better?) are we the better? After all, your Senates representatives, who are beneficiaries of these scandalous and bogus budgetary items, passed the budget through a 2nd reading. What stopped them from refusing to pass it? Leave Jonathan alone! |
Good attempt, Eagles!! |
Good save, Enyeama!!! |
