To a large extent I green with your submission. We are NOT the same, not in values, beliefs or traditions. We have no business being together as a people.

But as it has happened, wisdom and tact can solve the problems. Every state must seek to develop the resources within its borders, as DECIDE what to sef to the centre as against the centre doling out monetary handouts to state for doing NOTHING.

Nations are created when people who share similar values and beliefs willingly come together to form a union designed for the growth and prosperity of its inhabitants. Nigeria doesn't fall in that category.

Dividing Nigeria is never the solution to our problem. I wish the leaders can see it with my eyes.


America is larger in size and population than Nigeria, yet they live peacefully. China is larger in size and population than Nigeria, yet they live peacefully.


Our leaders must look for the brain behind agitation for division and put an end to it once and for all. I don't mean by war/victimization. I mean at a round table. For me, what cannot be solved at a table can never be solved through the barrel of the gun.

Our problem in Nigeria is not about our Size or Population, our problem is in our Language. We will never be able to coexist peacefully until we all begin to speak the same language.

Take a look at the backlash the president is getting for appointing credible people, instead of people to look beyond ethnicity and take these people as Nigerians, no, they just won't all because their language seems to be different from theirs.

With 2.5million you can work into Nigerian Breweries plc and tell their manager that you wanna be a wholesale distributor of beera and they will make you a partner instantly. That is a huge business that rakes in profit on a daily business. Beer business is good business. I know cos that's what I'm into.

You're right but where I disagree with you is the bolded. Men of God are worshipped everywhere not just Nigeria. This is why a south african pastor could tell his followers to swallow snake and they did. An American pastor could convince his gullible followers to come to church stark naked and they did and lot more other examples I can give. It's not just Nigeria. It's sad.

These two people are extraordinary human beings. They are one of God's most beloved people on earth. God so richly bless them that even they are gone and no more, we'd still talk about them for generations.

I live in Abeokuta and I work in the same Ministry that demolished the structures that are causing obstructions to the free flow of traffic and pedestrian.. No regrets please because where what you believe your illegal rights ends is where the legal rights of others starts.. We can not continue to break laws just in the name of unemployment..

When you demolished those structures, what alternative structure or arrangement did the govt put in place for the affected people?. You demolish structures without compensations. Which responsible govt does that?

When a good's original price is 500#, they'll call it 2000#. I don't waste time I divide whatever the amount is into two.

Just like the OP said, these people hike prices to survive not to live extravagant lifestyles. Adding 200 or as little as 50naira to something is not much. I bought a wristwatch for 18k some months ago only to see the same wristwatch on Aliexpress selling for 7k when converted to Naira. Boutiques, supermarkets and all make big money from us and when it's time to enrich these petty traders, na then our bargaining instinct go dey sharp. All is well sha.
