For instance if your sponsor is your father and he intends to be sending you 200 euros every month for a year. The additional volume you should anticipate is €2400(that is 12*€200). This is where i am having problems. DB sent me a rejection mail yesterday in which they stated i have to fill that very column. I am self sponsored and i am not anticipating anything from anywhere. They got me so confused since yesterday. Can someone give me an insight? |

I just got a refusal mail from CIC.
Exactly 8 week today i suppose.
Only reason is purpose of visit.(it has been my worst fear cos i know i perfectly ticked all other boxes before applying).
I knew with my status at work they would expect me to apply for MBA and not PGC. I'm not so surprised.
Abi una sabi any school wey go give me MBA admission with HND? On a serious note, if any, let me know.
I will apply for Gcms, and see what the VO said and refire for the last time!
Best of Luck guys |

bosypumpin: Hello Nairalanders here is wishing all TRV hopefuls a grand testimony.
@errandboy, do not bother waiting forever. I was in your situation some weeks back. I used the medicals I did last year July for an application submitted February 9th, 2016. I saw medical passed on April 27th by April 29th, I saw medical request and I was bothered. Naturally, I went to IOM, where I did the test initially and I was informed that they cannot conduct another test since that one is valid for 12 months.
I mailed accraimmigrations and told them to better use that one cos IOM is not willing to do another test and to advise me further. Thanks to @hayqinxfb and others who I confided in, I went to do another test at Child's Practice the next day and it was submitted three days later. same day the hospital confimed the submission, accraimmigrations enlightened me via mail that I had better go for aother test- reason being that my resumption is September and my medicals will not be valid till September, it would have expired by June.
My 2kobo- you may do another test elsewhere if you have the money or you do accraimmigrations a mail- there are responses to the mails done to them if they find it worthy of reply. Don't keep silent and wait on presumptions. you have waited this long. pele That was spot on! One has to be proactive. A friend whose application is exactly 16week today and still refused to send a mail to those niggars?? These niggars are human being nah. |

iamnero: A pleasant afternoon to the GURUS in the house, the SEMI-GURUS, and the GURUS in the making. All protocols duely observed. I feel so honored being here. No doubt, I am new here. I have gone over previous parts as far as I can, but I still can't find the part that talked about the exact processing time for a Canadian study permit emanating from Nigeria and heads to Accra, Ghana. And then again, how long does it take for an applicant who didn't do an upfront medicals to be called for medicals after submission of applications at CVAC/VFS office situated at Manor Hall, Lekki Phase 1. Please candid response(s) will be highly appreciated. Much obliged On the cic website, it shows 14week processing time to process a Nigerian study permit and 66day for visitors visa. However, the information only shows how long it took cic to process 80% of the approved and rejected visa application in recent time. It doesnt determine the exact time your application will be approved or rejected as it can even take longer in some cases. |

tolfa: Is our international passport not needed for medicals? If you want to do medicals upfront, sure, you go with your original Int'l PP and make a copy of your bio data page as well. If you're doing your medicals after submission, i.e you are given medical instruction by CIC, your biodata page and medical instruction will be sent to you by CIC. Hope you find that useful? Regards |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by bolasie: 8:53am On May 10, 2016 |
Bamz: Can anyone please confirm this? I thought we need only copies of the biodata page for submission, after which the passport will be requested for, much later. You need to submit your passport along with other docs. |

ayooluwatoni: Now i don't know where you stand. If you already submitted your application before paying tuition, how do you show proof that you paid to CIC?
If your admission is conditional upon paying tuition, and the deadline for tuition fee payment is not close, then i see no reason why you should pay before applying for study permit. It will only be a problem if you didn't pay your tuition by the time you're at the point of entry. But if the deadline was close, then you'd just have to pay. For instance if the deadline was August and you submitted your application in may or June, I see no reason why you should pay. But if the deadline was may 1 and you're submitting your app on may 2nd, then you may want to show proof that you met that condition.
**Fact*** 1. CIC discourages making any financial commitment without a positive visa app outcome
2. CIC says, an Applicant with a conditional admission letter must show proof that s/he has or will meet the the admission conditions.
So if your deadline was July, and you submitted a SoA which holds the tuition fees when you submitted your app in May, then you would have successfully shown proof of meeting your admission condition.
My opinion though. You're spot on bruv! I appreciate that. Tnx guyz But can anyone still put me through other option of remmiting the fee if not through form A. What does guys at the bank told me wasnt encouraging as they claim some are yet to be approved by cbn since january! Quite alarming. Just being pro active though! |
