Motun03: This Nigeria ehh. God have mercy!
In other words, the trauma of rape is enough not to add the consequences of unwanted pregnancy.
Every girlchild should be properly educated in that in the case of sexual abuse one should seek medical attention asap.
I mean, prevent unwanted pregnancy and STDs
Dont just sit there and cry after the incident
I feel for the girl sha The funny thing is, one or all of them could be innocent because there is no rape kit. Normally, if a man or woman is raped, you are adviced to go to a hospital after calling the police so they can create a rape kit for you. Without this, it will be impossible to prove that you were raped. Especially in a country like Nigeria where if you want to kill someone you don't like just yell " THIEF". |
Christianity Etc › Re: Imagine If Blood Money Was Real by Bollinger(m): 12:20pm On Sep 30, 2016 |
HardMirror: Imagine if blood money was real, we could have used it to get out of economy recession. All we would have done is pay kidnappers to kidnap Ghanians or people from Benin, Niger or cameroon With like 1000 people we shld be able to generate enough Dollars to finance 2016 budget. Lol But blood money aint real.
Only poor ignorant people waste their time with such fables. The rich are busy networking and investing in businesses. Some fools are busy looking for human private parts
Added* In modern times this would be wrong on many levels but about 200 years ago, nations and kingdoms disregarded each others rights and this would have been a perfect way of generating wealth. So the big question is has any nation ever attempted this to becom richer than other countries? Afterall they invade each others lands in selfish wars.
Some people are not getting it. Why do kingdoms wage war on resources when they can instead use those killed in war to do blood money?
It means OYO kingdom or any other kingdom could become immensely rich through this means.
What I am pointing out is, these things are not real. They have no place in solving real life problems.
Why are countries armies not using african bullet proof (odechi and ayeta)
why are we wasting Billions on aviation when we could sell "OFE" the teleporting charm that people claim makes drivers disappear from their vehicle to their houses?
If Blood money was real no need for oil money again. Lol. DLondonboiy: Ogbeni...blood money is real oo promise10: DON'T JUST MIND THE GUY!
You know he is an atheist, so he is trying to shake off every form of spirituality. And make himself to believe there is nothing spiritual. That's an absolute SELF-DECEIT. If you want to know about how a country's people think, just go to that country's most popular indigenous blog or forum. It will tell you all you need to know. The African/Nigerian mentality is amazing to say the least. In 2016, people are talking about "blood money". And they wonder why the country is phucked. A great country is meant for normal thinking human beings. This is why Nigeria can never be great. They have little or no normal human beings living in Nigeria. |

But please can you say for a fact that you read this thread very well or you just chose to disgrace yourself on the most populous on-line interactive forum in Africa.
Please stop trolling and start making sense or take the other option of shushing. I'll be honest. I did not bother to read the nonsense you wrote because knowing you and the way you think, it will always be about the same thing. The subjugation of the female gender. It is never different. My husband cannot tell me to sleep with his friend & you expect me to submit fully I honestly believe say dem take woman swear for Toks2008. There is something inherently wrong with his mentality. That and the fact that he does not choose his words wisely. The African definition of submission as regards women is pure slavery and i think he gets a hard on just thinking about things like this. See how quickly he used religion to justify his phucked up way of thinking? Ignorance is the bane of religion. Which man in his right minds would want a robot for a wife in this day and age? Onyiridike: Up till now you still more time arguing about prize instead of trying to understand the point people are trying to make here.
There are a lot of young men on the street who smoke marijuana and have nonchalant attitude towards education because Timaya is more respected in Nigeria than a Prof.
In the future, and even presently many youths who have the potential to become great engineers are no longer interested in Education because MTN would rather use P-Square to advertise their products and pay him millions instead of Professor of Electrical Engineer.
Diamond bank would prefer Mikel to renowned Prof. in banking and pay him millions.
Do you expect the younger ones to take education serious in a country like ours?
Talking about using your knowledge to generate wealth, GEJ donated billions to Nollywood while our Research Institutes are in comatose.
How do you come up with new inventions in a country like ours?
You pay a football coach N5000,000 monthly and pay a doctor N150,000.
Where is the motivation?
In developed country, education is their first priority.
Even if I've the knowledge to develop the cure for HIV and Government didn't employ me and even if I am employed, the place where I work does not have the equipment that I can use to transform my knowledge into physical reality.
What is the use of the knowledge?
Germany donate $24m to ABU, Zaria as a research grant and soon they will make a breakthrough.
How much has your Government ever invested into research?
People are already dieing from common malaria in Nigeria because Nigerian Government would rather award Omotola with the title of OFR than recognizing a Doctor who spent years in school.
Many Nigerians would rather be Mr. Ibu than being a Doctor.
Mikel's father was abducted and Nigerian Government swoop into action immediately and rescued him. Can they do the same to even a V.C? And you don't understand that knowledge is the reward for graduating. Everything else is secondary. With that knowledge you can achieve the incredible. It is only in Nigeria things like what you are advocating for happens. I have never heard or seen anything like this in all my years and i have been to plenty of countries. Nigerians don't think like normal human beings hence the reason the country is completely and utterly phucked up. The abnormal is normal for you. Everything is about money and justifying the weird way of getting it. Why na? |

Our attitude towards education in Nigeria is laughable. Please tell me you are joking. Really? Our attitude towards education in Nigeria is laughable not because they don't give cash gifts to students but because you all are too money conscious. It is laughable because you still use the syllabus meant for the 70's. It's laughable because students are expected to buy handouts and sometimes give lecturers bribes. Onyiridike: I don't want to believe that you hate education. Probably, you could not make good grades in school and you now vent your anger on those who have achieved what you couldnot achieve.
Well a prize means a reward for hardwork. It serves to encourage others. If you can reward a model with millions simply because she is beautiful, how much are you supposed to reward a brilliant graduate who sacrificed a lot and put in so much time to achieve academic excellence.
The food you eat, the phone you are using, the house you live in, the drug you take, the medical treatment you receive, the television, your clothes, your cream, the pure water, the good roads, electricity, the money you spend, among others are products of education (science and technology).
How do you reward people who are making effort to improve our standard of living by generating ideas and concepts?
This your mind-set is why Nigeria will never move forward.
For your information, the money USA budget for scientific research is more than the budget of ALL African countries put together. However, in Nigeria, N14,000,000 will be given to 2-Face for performing say during independence while N20,000 is given to professors. You think that live is all about money? Did you design a drug with money or knowlege?
Does a doctor treat you with money or knowledge?
Do mechanical engineers design car with money or knowlege?
If all the scientist in the world refuse to work, 40% of the world will die in a matter of months even if you break world bank. It is not about hating education. It is about hating the way Nigerians think. The problem is they think mostly based of their stomach. If it was a competition and it was announced in the beginning of the school year that a prize would be given to the best students it would be a different story entirely. But, since they aren't expected to receive gifts for graduating, you shouldn't complain about it. Why would you complain about a gift. Were you expecting it? If anyone is expecting a gift for graduating, then that person needs their heads examined. I remember back in my day, it was with pride we would receive plaques for doing well in school. Now, because of poverty, it is all about the money. And you wonder why the Nigerian society is money crazed and corrupt. I tire for una i swear. |

Looks like u studied psychology but your argument looks awful. You are thinking like someone that needs to go back to school. I don't have time. Am done with you. 50k 4 your level. Am more than that. Yes i use " thought process" in all my arguments with Nigerians. You know why? Because that is the major problem in the country. Most of you don't think like normal human beings. Your thought process is flawed. What is unheard of in normal countries is absolutely normal in Nigeria. This is why most of you think it is normal to dump refuse in the gutter, or burn a suspect in the streets, or a policeman confidently and unashamedly collecting bribe publicly. You all think it is normal and business as usual. This is why you think it is normal to get a prize for graduating. And MSU would disagree with you that i need to go back to school. |
