Best option for me is to persuade Ronaldo to renew for one more season rather than spending heavily on a striker when we have more pressing issues to take of. We could actually start next season without a striker. Cavani is already gone, Greenwood is likely never going to wear a united shirt again, Martial wants to leave and Ronaldo might go as well. I really hope he stays cause I see him thriving under Ten Hagg system.

Ballon D'or was the Nobel of football and FIFA attached the Ballon D'OR name to their award to give it prestige. Fifa forced french football to accept a combined award. The FIFA officials felt none took their award seriously. Ronaldinho for example was in tears when he won Ballon D'or despite that he had won FIFA award the previous year (but lost on Ballon D'or to Shevchenko).

I don't think the current FIFA best award holds more prestige or power than the Balon dor. Everyone talks about the Balon dor unlike the Wpoty. If I remember correctly It was FIFA who paid France football to merge with their Balon dor to gain relevance.

You can't be scoring alone yet say you're carrying the team. Scoring alone means your teamates are working for you hence carrying you.

Kpendu may have good number of goals this season but how about assists and chances creation? He's nowhere to be found in those departments.

They are many examples. Chelsea under Avb was lost and demotivated then di Matteo came in, gingered the team to win champions league and fa cup. Bayern under kovac was terrible and looked lost until flick came in. Even small Ole was able to motivate a team that looked dead under Mourinho. I can bring out various clips of Ferdinand getting dirty. I repeat only brainless defenders gets disgraced and gets dribbled regularly. Sensible defenders like Ferdinand know when to get dirty and when to stay on their feet. Ferdinand was successful without Vidic so the point you are trying to push has no leg to stand on.

In the five months he's been here, he's failed to achieve his basic task of top 4, failed to instill a basic playing style, and failed to keep standards up in regards to training, fitness and coaching. We had an easy run of games to secure top 4 when he came, he fecked most of the games up tactically. There was even no near manager bounce, nothing. What a failure he has been.
