We had no style of play last season , don't just even go there. Everyone was complaining on how it was individual brilliance that was carrying us. Greenwood was called out for being Stingy as well even last season. We played the same disjointed football with no attacking cohesiveness, constantly relying on individual ability to win us games and that did not changed with Ronaldo under Ole earlier in the season.

Nah this is just cheap excuse. If Dybala had gone back to his 30 goal contribution you wouldn't hesitate to use it to further your agenda. if you look at Juve this season now he's gone, there has not been some sudden resurgence of goal scoring from other players which proves your theory wrong.

First thing I saw after a few matches with Ronaldo. Players like Greenwood were being called out for being stingy. Ronaldo and Bruno were running into the same spaces. Shaw and Rashford used to combine effectively at that left wing but now, when the attack starts, Ronaldo is mostly drifting from that left wing.



Btwn how Dybala went from 27 goal contributions the season before Ronaldo joined to 9 goal contributions the season he joined needs to be studied.

And now without Ronaldo how many goals contribution does Dybala have?

They are always on Social media as well. Go and follow City/Liverpool/Chelsea players on Twitter and Instagram and you will see they post alot before and after games. You don't just hear about it because they are not United Players.

I stand by it that Messi would be struggling to get more than 2 Balon dor if he had played in England or any other league. La Liga tax helped his career to win more individual awards than he actually deserved. My post is not even limited to Messi. Balon dor/FIFA Wpoty has always been biased towards la Liga way before even Messi.

Best option for me is to persuade Ronaldo to renew for one more season rather than spending heavily on a striker when we have more pressing issues to take of. We could actually start next season without a striker. Cavani is already gone, Greenwood is likely never going to wear a united shirt again, Martial wants to leave and Ronaldo might go as well. I really hope he stays cause I see him thriving under Ten Hagg system.

Ballon D'or was the Nobel of football and FIFA attached the Ballon D'OR name to their award to give it prestige. Fifa forced french football to accept a combined award. The FIFA officials felt none took their award seriously. Ronaldinho for example was in tears when he won Ballon D'or despite that he had won FIFA award the previous year (but lost on Ballon D'or to Shevchenko).

I don't think the current FIFA best award holds more prestige or power than the Balon dor. Everyone talks about the Balon dor unlike the Wpoty. If I remember correctly It was FIFA who paid France football to merge with their Balon dor to gain relevance.
