CrimeRe: 80-Year-Old Japanese Woman Scammed By 'Astronaut Stranded In Space' by BondRiv: 6:42pm On Sep 05, 2025
Seems fitting and ironic, considering space itself is a hoax. Not many people know this.
PoliticsRe: Fuel Scarcity Imminent As NUPENG, Dangote Refinery Face-Off Festers by BondRiv: 5:52pm On Sep 05, 2025
Chaos in every sector, while leaders are on vacation. Not like they were doing much before the vacation. I hate to keep quoting John Bolton, but it is really the case that in Nigeria, the inmates are running the asylum.
PoliticsRe: Nigerians To Pay Extra ₦45 Per Litre Of Petrol From 2026 Under New Tax Law by BondRiv: 5:36pm On Sep 05, 2025
Courtesy of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

It is always an increase. Just like the inflationary economy, passport fees hike etc. They continue to pile it up on Nigerians. An extra this or that, while they in public offices live in extravagance.

A joke of an administration.
PoliticsRe: ADC To Remi Tinubu: National Library Completion Is FG’s Duty by BondRiv: 5:30pm On Sep 05, 2025
The only party checkmating the actions of this federal government. No wonder they are under attack across the country by undemocratic elements.
Foreign AffairsRe: UK's Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner Resigns by BondRiv: 5:21pm On Sep 05, 2025
Accountability. This is what we lack in our government in Nigeria because of the sham elections that put people in office.
PoliticsRe: Criminal conspiracy, mischief?: Kaduna Police summon El-Rufai, top ADC leaders by BondRiv: 2:46pm On Sep 05, 2025
Hmmmmm2024:
How can you send a letter to someone, and you have your stamp on the letter ? Hahahaha...the recipient is suppose to acknowledge and not the sender. Your letter headed paper and signature of the signee are enough. Incompetence
It depends on the practice and guidelines of the institution. In the legal profession in Nigeria, it is the practice. So it varies.
PoliticsRe: Criminal conspiracy, mischief?: Kaduna Police summon El-Rufai, top ADC leaders by BondRiv: 2:42pm On Sep 05, 2025
A glaring attempt to intimidate and suppress opposition. Can we get serious in this country and focus on important issues? This is ridiculous.
PoliticsRe: Afenifere, Northern Leaders Demand State Police Amid Delays by BondRiv:
Copy and paste syndrome without taking into consideration the peculiarities of our country. They are basically demanding for the creation of more problems. Some people do not critically evaluate things in these parts before taking a decision, especially those in positions of authority in Nigeria. They prefer to cry later. Ensure free and fair elections first.
PoliticsRe: Police Takes Over ADC Secretariat In Kaduna (Photos) by BondRiv: 2:30pm On Sep 05, 2025
osuofia2:
ELrufai, you see your life, Power is transient , you were lording over Kaduna few years ago. you publicly claimed to be paying bandits so as not to unalive southern Kaduna people, they cried to God and Tinubu won. You have been rightly placed where you belong.
Price you pay when you are a Bigotttssss
Always the same flawed reasoning from people avoiding the truth. Is this current action right or wrong? Your focus on El-Rufai is irrelevant. When similar actions are meted on you or those you support tomorrow, you will start wailing and the cycle continues. This is not how we are going to change this country. Two wrongs don't make a right.
CrimeRe: Olasijibomi Of Sujimoto Luxury Construction Declared Wanted By The EFCC by BondRiv: 2:07pm On Sep 05, 2025
Doesn't look like someone who knows anything about luxury or construction. EFCC is definitely on to something.
PoliticsRe: Ibadan Becoming A State Is Long Overdue - Olubadan-designate, Ladoja by BondRiv: 2:03pm On Sep 05, 2025
Are you guys done running the existing one efficiently? Just busy creating more problems instead of solutions.
PoliticsRe: FG Seeks Fresh $1.75 Billion World Bank Loan by BondRiv:
The relationship with this U.S. controlled financial institution and similar ones is never going to amount to anything good, nor lead to our development as a country.

If the U.S. seeks domination in all spheres (which it does), then it cannot be true that they are genuinely interested in our development. This leads me to question the intention of the so-called leaders of this country, who keep plunging it into a cycle of debt to our enemies.
PoliticsRe: Police Halts planned ADC Meeting In Kaduna, El-Rufai reacts by BondRiv: 1:22pm On Sep 05, 2025
The ruling party is focused on stifling opposition. No surprise that the police are the usual tools deployed for this undemocratic assignment. It is also allegedly sanctioned by the court. What a shame. The police should focus on their primary duty and stop chasing shadows.
CrimeRe: Dismissed Police Officer Promotes Self, Resumes Duty At Lagos State Command by BondRiv: 1:12pm On Sep 05, 2025
Are we supposed to be surprised? It is the country of the likes of Kwam 1.

The inmates are running the asylum.

- John Bolton.
PoliticsRe: 2027: Nothing Can Stop Tinubu’s Re-Election - Abdulmumin Jibrin by BondRiv: 12:59pm On Sep 05, 2025
Unbridled sycophancy. Quick questions to uncover the reason behind this forecast: Are the majority of Nigerians happy with this government? Are we better off now than we were before, in terms of economy, security, infrastructure, healthcare, education, etc? The reality dictates otherwise and you can sample the opinions of Nigerians in the various parts of this country. This is a government of misery with most people struggling.

Imagine the audacity to make such a statement in an administration where hardship is the national anthem. Some of the questions also going through the mind of a reasonable person are, where does this kind of confidence displayed by Jibrin come from? Is this man living in a different country other than Nigeria? He is not living in a different country, and I'll tell you the source of his confidence.

If President Tinubu was doing well, it would have been a different thing, and I would have been cheering. We want to cheer. This is our country after all. However, only unpatriotic elements will cheer in the face of terrible governance.

If we had a functional democracy, it wouldn't even be a debate that President Tinubu would be booted out at the ballot box. This confidence from Jibrin stems from rigging and subverting the will of the Nigerian people. Unfortunately, this subvertion is the cause of our current problems in Nigeria.

We are yet to see any significant positive change in the lives of the majority of Nigerians. One of the ways to turn that around is to stop listening to people like Jibrin.
Foreign AffairsRe: Trump To Rename US Department Of Defense To 'Department Of War' by BondRiv: 12:00pm On Sep 05, 2025
That is all they do. A country of endless, forever wars. The CIA is then used overseas to create conflicts, destabilise countries and cause regime change.

PoliticsRe: Sokoto Residents Protest Bandits’ Grip On Several Lgas by BondRiv: 12:43pm On Sep 03, 2025
Lots of hopelessness in an administration with a Renewed Hope Agenda.
PoliticsRe: PDP: Wike, Ortom, Fayose, Ikpeazu, Others Issue Six-point Demand (video) by BondRiv:
The current political space in Nigeria is a joke. Anti-party activities are the norm. PDP is in a jam and how they decide to get out of it is their business.
PoliticsRe: Banditry: I Have To Create State Police, Says Tinubu by BondRiv:
Is there genuinely a strong will and commitment to tackle insecurity? We recently saw how your Renewed Hope Agenda hiked passport fees.
We must stop looking at insecurity in isolation and rather address its root causes.

I am not an advocate of state police because it will cause more harm than good, given our peculiarities in Nigeria. If you want to imitate a country like the U.S., then don't do it in isolation.

Let us have free and fair elections. With that, you get leaders who are accountable to the people. Otherwise, Nigerian governors will turn this country into a war zone with their inordinate ambitions.

The current police structure we have can tackle insecurity if properly utilised. Adequate recruitment and provision of the resources they need on the ground. Not those things infused in budgets which do not materialise.

We often get complaints from the police about their welfare, has that been addressed? State police will just be a replication of the existing problems.
PoliticsRe: Nyesom Wike Pledges Duplexes For FCT Judges by BondRiv:
Greek gift. We must acknowledge what this portends for our democracy and the independence of our judiciary. Let us stop deceiving ourselves.

If I keep building houses for you and giving you cars, it might be difficult for you to decline my request, when I ask for a favour. It is implied.

Public perception is key in the administration of justice. Judges should be uncomfortable with things like this, unless they are in office for something else, other than justice delivery.

The judiciary should be financially autonomous.
TravelRe: US Explains Visa Cancellation For Nigerians, Others by BondRiv: 11:13am On Sep 03, 2025
This useless country is always seeking attention with this visa nonsense. Their lapdog U.K. will soon issue theirs. Yet they are in every continent causing mayhem. Perhaps, stop destabilising other countries for a change, and you may not have to worry too much about people coming into your country illegally or overstaying.
PoliticsRe: Dangote Refinery Exports First Gasoline Cargo To U.S. by BondRiv: 11:01am On Sep 03, 2025
I only came here to comment about the atrocities being committed by this company. It is a good thing that the original post contains some of these pictures. Apparently, his company has a history of abandoning their accident victims. It is now a culture of the company. The impunity is too much.

There needs to be a class action suit against Dangote by the victims of this souless capitalist. Perhaps when the story makes it to international news media like CNN, it will break this evil cycle. Since they care more about their false image.

This is where the NBA needs to come in. It is not about organising conferences with fancy themes, while gross injustice is being perpetrated on the helpless by the powerful. Enough is enough.
PoliticsRe: You are incompetent, politicising National security - El-Rufai Replies Ribadu by BondRiv: 10:08pm On Sep 02, 2025
NSA that is yet to tell Nigerians what USAID was up to in this country. Do we actually expect to win this fight against terrorism or is it hopeless?

There is no concern whatsoever about important things. I would question your competence too, as well as that of our intelligence services.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Makes U-Turn, Reinstate Dembos As NTA DG, Terminates Recent Appointments by BondRiv: 9:59pm On Sep 02, 2025

PoliticsRe: Dollar No Longer King But Atiku, El-rufai, Obi Won’t Celebrate - Onanuga by BondRiv: 9:52pm On Sep 02, 2025
The level of pettiness. Why was President Tinubu elected and what did he tell the electorates while campaigning for the office? You guys should better wake up from your slumber.

I didn't. I reacted to your comment as I'm entitled to, highlighting your usual practice of asking 21 questions. There is a difference.

you have not answered the questions.

1. if tinubu and his kitchen cabinet are competent, do you need to pray for them to succeed?

2. do you pray for mtn glo or airtel to give you network or you depend on their competence for network?

3. do you depend on your prayer for your mechanic to fix your car or you depend on his competence?
You must be a bot. Those questions weren't directed at me. I'm not a cheerleader of this government.

Still no probe into the activities of the defunct USAID here in Nigeria. Anyway, I welcome the defiance of Trump and the U.S., but we must match our words with actions.

It is certainly not in the useless "interest" of the U.S. for Nigeria to assume its full potential in Africa and the world. So we must acknowledge this reality and stop being delusional.
