Seems fitting and ironic, considering space itself is a hoax. Not many people know this.

Chaos in every sector, while leaders are on vacation. Not like they were doing much before the vacation. I hate to keep quoting John Bolton, but it is really the case that in Nigeria, the inmates are running the asylum.

It is always an increase. Just like the inflationary economy, passport fees hike etc. They continue to pile it up on Nigerians. An extra this or that, while they in public offices live in extravagance.

A joke of an administration.

The only party checkmating the actions of this federal government. No wonder they are under attack across the country by undemocratic elements.

Accountability. This is what we lack in our government in Nigeria because of the sham elections that put people in office.

It depends on the practice and guidelines of the institution. In the legal profession in Nigeria, it is the practice. So it varies.

A glaring attempt to intimidate and suppress opposition. Can we get serious in this country and focus on important issues? This is ridiculous.

Copy and paste syndrome without taking into consideration the peculiarities of our country. They are basically demanding for the creation of more problems. Some people do not critically evaluate things in these parts before taking a decision, especially those in positions of authority in Nigeria. They prefer to cry later. Always the same flawed reasoning from people avoiding the truth. Is this current action right or wrong? Your focus on El-Rufai is irrelevant. Unbridled sycophancy. Quick questions to uncover the reason behind this forecast: Are the majority of Nigerians happy with this government? Are we better off now than we were before, in terms of economy, security, infrastructure, healthcare, education, etc? The reality dictates otherwise and you can sample the opinions of Nigerians in the various parts of this country. This is a government of misery with most people struggling.

Imagine the audacity to make such a statement in an administration where hardship is the national anthem. Some of the questions also going through the mind of a reasonable person are, where does this kind of confidence displayed by Jibrin come from? Is this man living in a different country other than Nigeria? He is not living in a different country, and I'll tell you the source of his confidence.

If President Tinubu was doing well, it would have been a different thing, and I would have been cheering. We want to cheer. This is our country after all. However, only unpatriotic elements will cheer in the face of terrible governance.

If we had a functional democracy, it wouldn't even be a debate that President Tinubu would be booted out at the ballot box. This confidence from Jibrin stems from rigging and subverting the will of the Nigerian people. Unfortunately, this subvertion is the cause of our current problems in Nigeria.

We are yet to see any significant positive change in the lives of the majority of Nigerians. One of the ways to turn that around is to stop listening to people like Jibrin.

That is all they do. A country of endless, forever wars. The CIA is then used overseas to create conflicts, destabilise countries and cause regime change.

The current political space in Nigeria is a joke. Anti-party activities are the norm. PDP is in a jam and how they decide to get out of it is their business.

Is there genuinely a strong will and commitment to tackle insecurity? We recently saw how your Renewed Hope Agenda hiked passport fees.
We must stop looking at insecurity in isolation and rather address its root causes.

I am not an advocate of state police because it will cause more harm than good, given our peculiarities in Nigeria. If you want to imitate a country like the U.S., then don't do it in isolation.

Let us have free and fair elections. With that, you get leaders who are accountable to the people. Otherwise, Nigerian governors will turn this country into a war zone with their inordinate ambitions.

The current police structure we have can tackle insecurity if properly utilised. Adequate recruitment and provision of the resources they need on the ground. Not those things infused in budgets which do not materialise.

We often get complaints from the police about their welfare, has that been addressed? State police will just be a replication of the existing problems.

Greek gift. We must acknowledge what this portends for our democracy and the independence of our judiciary. Let us stop deceiving ourselves.

If I keep building houses for you and giving you cars, it might be difficult for you to decline my request, when I ask for a favour. It is implied.

Public perception is key in the administration of justice. Judges should be uncomfortable with things like this, unless they are in office for something else, other than justice delivery.

The judiciary should be financially autonomous.

This useless country is always seeking attention with this visa nonsense. Their lapdog U.K. will soon issue theirs. Yet they are in every continent causing mayhem. Perhaps, stop destabilising other countries for a change, and you may not have to worry too much about people coming into your country illegally or overstaying.

I only came here to comment about the atrocities being committed by this company. It is a good thing that the original post contains some of these pictures. Apparently, his company has a history of abandoning their accident victims. It is now a culture of the company. The impunity is too much.

There needs to be a class action suit against Dangote by the victims of this souless capitalist. Perhaps when the story makes it to international news media like CNN, it will break this evil cycle. Since they care more about their false image.

Still no probe into the activities of the defunct USAID here in Nigeria. Anyway, I welcome the defiance of Trump and the U.S., but we must match our words with actions.

It is certainly not in the useless "interest" of the U.S. for Nigeria to assume its full potential in Africa and the world. So we must acknowledge this reality and stop being delusional.
