Japan and the USA are like bread and tea. The World Bank being just another instrument of maintaining the USA's hegemony, its presence is no surprise. Historically, our presidents love attending these conferences overseas. Good things rarely emanate from that entity called the World Bank for developing nations.

Comical. Summoning them for what? When you guys chose to set a bad precedent with Kwam 1 or whatever he's called.

Even the Australian Government is not comfortable with the horrors being witnessed in Gaza. Expect different reactions to the genocide unfolding in Gaza. The U.K. Government, just like the notorious U.S. Government, has chosen to be complicit.

He and his cohorts destroyed our House of Assembly building for nothing. All for a fight they could never win.

I will always root for the success of this country, but this is just another statistics from an unserious government. It is unserious because it is failing to address critical issues affecting the country.

Don't tell us to contact the World Bank which might just look at numbers without understanding the peculiarities (corruption) of government disbursements in Nigeria. Are these monies actually getting to the people who need them? What percentage? When even supplies meant for IDPs are diverted.

I never supported this policy from the onset because it is unworkable. If the corruption in Nigeria doesn't render it useless, this inflationary economy will. The government should rather address the root causes of the problems necessitating the economic hardship.

What kind of shameful and reckless adminstration is Soludo running in Anambra State? I knew his unguarded remarks were the least of his problems. When people make sycophancy a part of their job, you know there is a deficiency somewhere. The perpetrators of these criminal acts must be brought to justice.

The Nigerian Government has no choice but to reciprocate, as any serious country would. It is a matter of international law and convention. Reciprocity is one of the hallmarks of diplomatic relations. It would be a gross betrayal of the Nigerian people for the FG to do nothing.

It would be very unwise of Putin to attend that event in Alaska. He should know better.

What was the result of the Presidential Elections? Amaechi led Buhari's campaign to two consecutive victories. Ask people in Rivers State about the so-called defeat Lere is talking about. Some people like to pretend in Nigeria. In one election, the state was termed "Rivers of blood." There is also a Sahara Reporters' tape on YouTube concerning an election where Fayose was praising someone and saying "kill everybody." Some people just choose to pretend.

Nigeria deserves a president who is all in. At every point, you know where Amaechi stands. That was true in 2015 and true now. Among all the potential contenders, he is the only one fully committed to ADC. Others are busy showcasing their lack of integrity with pride and unable to state where they truly belong.

No wonder the tickets are ridiculously expensive.

Elrufai don't bluff. He's not called the Game Changer for nothing. Whoever thinks he's bluffing should bookmark his tweet and come back to it by 2027. No time for too much talk.

Some of us study, observe and do analysis, not bookmarks. It is not about one man called El-Rufai. The stage is set for a shift in administration no doubt, as all the indices are against the FG. However, if the right steps are not taken, the desired results may not be achieved.

There must be clear messaging and the right leadership to take the people to the next destination. Making the right political calculation that also has the rotation of power between the North and South in mind is also important. APC sorted that out and defeated PDP in 2015. ADC must get their act together before the next election and there's still time for that.

The Oluwasegun fellow begging in the picture you attached is really unfortunate. Instead of telling the president to fix the economy. Continue begging. Even El Rufai can't save Tinubu.

What do you want to attract when there is massive insecurity, a high level of corruption, and no steady power supply? Be realistic.

It is up to the bank, but my advice would be to appeal. Why didn't the Magistrate decline jurisdiction? Whether right or wrong, the bank acted on an order of court and can't be penalised for it. It would have been different, if they acted in the absence of an order of court but that clearly wasn't the case here.
