NwekeUG:
A man identified as Ibrahim Abubakar was on Thursday evening found hanging from the celing of his shop located along Zoo Road in Kano metropolis, IgbereTV reports.

The deceased also known as Iro, who sells car batteries and tires was discovered when the shop was broken open by police and neighbours.

According to eye witnesses, the deceased attended the 4pm Laasar prayers alongside other worshippers after which they all left for their respective shops. On his way to his shop, Iro stopped at a neighbour's shop where he collected a rope.

It was gathered that when Iro reached his shop, he sent away his biological son to buy food and another shopkeeper on another errand before locking himself up in the shop.

When his son returned with the food he found the shop locked and after waiting for a while, he became suspicious and alerted neighbours.

The neighbour whose rope the deceased collected also became suspicious and alerted the police.

The police officers arrived and upon breaking the shop, they found the deceased's lifeless body hanging from the rope.

A Facebook user, Muhammad Shehu spoke about the incident on the social media platform. According to him, he had an interview with Abubakar's neighbours who told him the deceased was suffering from mental illness.

FamilyRe: What Will You Do If You Have My Kind Of Parents? by bongo4real(m): 7:09pm On Sep 19, 2020
SecretSpy666:
Greetings Nairalanders,
I want to seek for you peoples opinions regarding my family challenges.

I'm from a broken home. My parents divorced when I was a child of two years. I'm the only child from their union. My father and mother abandoned me and remarried to other spouse each. I passed through hell growing up with relatives who insulted me with all kinds of names and I was treated like a slave to their own children.

Because of public outcry about my dehumanizing treatment, my father came to village and took me to the city. It was from fry pan to fire experience as my father's new wife was maltreating me. At a point, my father asked me to leave his house that since my arrival, he don't have peace with his wife.

I packed to the house of a relative and work in a block industry to help myself. Most times, I slept in a CAC church close to the relative house as the two-room apartment is not enough for his family. My mother never care if I was alive. She never call me nor reply to letter I sent through someone to her. I continued working in the block industry and started a part time programme. I completed the part time programme and did my NYSC and master degree. I got a job with University of Ado Ekiti with the help of a course mate, managing myself now and surprisingly my mother and father started calling me often.

Both of them have 6 children each with their respective second spouse. Mother want his son to come and live with me, I refused and my father too have been requesting for financial assistance which I also refused. I don't want to have anything to do with both of them. My father's daughter recently called me to help her with school fees, I bluntly told her to ask her mother what she did to me and caught the call. Since then, she never call.

I'm alone and have just two friends. I don't have family. All of them calling now are just looking for what to get from me, not that they care about me. My mother never call me once to ask about my welfare even when I sent my phone number to her through her relative. I wrote WAEC, completed degree course before she started calling me and it is only to request for one thing or other. I'm planning to get married without telling them and build a separate family.
So sorry bro this life just dey somehow.

My own parents never contributed 1kobo to my growth, was raised by my auntie and since then it has been solo race.
I haven't seen my mom for 23 years now and I'm 30 years now.

All I can remember my dad ever did for me was abuse upon abuse. Lemme just continue because story long.

Brother getting married and starting your own family should be your concern now, your children deserve better and that process she start now.

Please reach out to me for more advice, thank God we survived the terrible time our so called parents made us pass through.
InvestmentRe: Safe Betting: How I Lost N880,000 In 8 Minutes by bongo4real(m): 4:13pm On Jul 30, 2020
abujarealtor:
Good day, everyone.

Yesterday was one of the most confusing days for me. For a moment, I almost ran mad.

Two weeks ago, I didn't even know what betting was like. Never done it, never experienced it. I hardly knew what the numbers meant.

Fast forward to yesterday, Tuesday, 28 July, I was risking a client's money on a game I thought was 'a sure bet.'

It was an eSports game I've been following for a while. I knew the players involved were very skilled and could score for fun. They did so in over 10 successive matches last night. So I thought it was worthwhile betting they'd score at least 2 goals.

I tried to do so in three attempts, but didn't have the mind to follow through, only for the matches to end up with at least 3 goals or more.

Informed by this, I thought it was safe to go on ahead and play this one time. I did. Unfortunately, both matches didn't end like I had predicted.

Over 800k was gone in a flash. I couldn't believe it. Seeing the signs, I attempted a cash out while the match was still live but couldn't, as the option wasn't available.

You may wonder why I had to risk such a huge sum.

It's simple; think I got greedy. embarassed

However, my excuse was that I needed money to offset some bills. Faced with so much responsibilities, I thought winning over a million naira would go a long way in helping me take care of stuff since business hasn't been coming in so much. The tile money I used was my first business since March, before the lockdown.

But, of course, my greed overshadowed any excuse I could offer.

To all the young men out there, please, regardless of how sure you are, do not stake more money than you're willing to lose. I've been there. The allure of making it big sooner can be overwhelming, but don't risk it.

If you must, stake little sums and make future bets from your winnings.

cry cry cry

@I'm not sure whether this is the right place for this, but pls help push it to the front page so people can learn from my experience.
Never too late to recover, if you are interested in making back your money come join a free page on Telegram, you are not paying anyone anything and you will make cool cash from betting on inplay games.

This is not scam but real, I'm not and admin just a follower. Ask for more detail if interested

In a nutshell, I believe it's just about the esteem. It's low. Build yours. Stop doing things to make people like you. What matters is your liking yourself.
.
I once worked in a hotel as a steward. I received insults from Dicks and Toms. I was even slapped by a lady for what she thought was right. I felt so bad then, but I discovered I had my own life to live. I built my self esteem. I needed not stalk anyone.

Bro, just save.
You have the right to change your destiny.
Nobody can make you sad without your permission.
Good point man.
I have done security job in Lagos to survive till better job come and at last it worked.

Also I did steward 2017 despite being a professional printer/graphic designer but I needed something to boost income.

Today the experience I gained from my 8 months as steward has made me a chef and still doing better far more than people who went for training. Soon my restaurant plan will be achieve.

So brother, no matter where we find ourselves we should learn every possible thing because no knowledge is waste.

Being a printer/graphic designer didn't stop me from learning then and today I'm being rewarded for my hard work.

Lastly, no matter what you do today believe that tomorrow will be better. Have bigger plans while surviving with mini job.

God bless our hustle.

Christianity EtcRe: Bishop Oyedepo: It's Wrong To Allow People In Market And Not In Church by bongo4real(m): 9:14am On May 07, 2020
emmasege:
There are alternatives to 'church gathering' as individuals can still meet at family or house fellowship level. But there is no alternative to going to market. People must feed.

Abi Bishop will feed his flock (tens of thousands) with physical food after feeding them with spiritual food? Jesus did it, Bishop should also do it.

Bishop Oyedepo should announce free lunch for all worshippers on Sunday with an additional #5000 pocket money for indingent worshippers every Sunday.

And let no pastor sermonise worshippers to give. The giving should be voluntary and the poor should not be made to feel as if they sinned by not giving or that they are blocking their source of blessings by not paying tithe.

The gospel has gone beyond the elementary doctrines of tithing, giving and prosperity.
True talk man.
A pastor made fun of me in church (RCCG VI) because I didn't stand during offering.
I was jobless and broke and I Respected myself when others are standing but he insisted that I stand pretending I have or leave the church.

Is this how Jesus thought as us to practice Christianity?

Stevecreativex:
Me if I remember I use to smile and swear for her with my smile smiley
She's grace, fondly called Gracey, I met this werey when I was serving at Abuja 2014, But with the way we met seems like God wanted us together.

She works where I did my PPA, The first day we met I was working on some files and she was kinda asking her colleague who Steve is when she walked up to my desk, she called my name I looked up and she lost it like I could remember we both lost at each other for like 60 seconds before the lady sitting beside me called her name loud( that one don grab watin dey sup)

To cut the past lost story short.. we started talking we exchange contact and weeks later we started dating... Later she came over to the apartment whey I rented, I could tell her reaction she does not like the place (it single room thou )

Months later our relationship became so close that people started noticing in the office, exactly August they paidsalary and to my surprise, as we were going home together she gave me her August salary asked me to add some few bucks to it I should move out of the one-room apartment am staying saying she doesn't want me sharing toilet and bathroom...

Like I was wow. To be very honest that night I was so happy to the extent I had to cut all my spouse contact off and focus on only her... Like that night I vowed not to cheat on her ever...

So I finished my NYSC in Abuja and luckily my PDTF scholarship application was successful I was preparing to move over to Greece for my masters...

I and Gracey parted ways but we still dating, we call each other text each other... Months later I started sending money to grace for our building project, all the money I sent was around £125,500+ (54,233,804.62 nairas)

During this process, grace sends me pictures of the land she brought and how the construction is going on.....

To round up this painful crab cry only for me to come back home to meet my wife, married with a kid...

I arrested her and all she could say was "she thought I was just joking with her" that she never thought I still love her... Out of 54m, she could only recover 2.5m...

I was hospitalized for two weeks then... I sort I almost died the shock and trauma almost killed me... But thank God later I just have to return to Greece and start all over again... But what she did then is still the reason why am single today...

The truth sef is I insult any Nigerian girls I see in Greece... Nigerian girls in Greece are all lonely so anyone of then that comes across Nigeria guys is always waiting to be loved but I can't stop hating them...

The trauma still lives.. sad embarassed
So sad for your painful experience bro but you just to let it go.

You need to love again, every woman can't be Grace same way every man not same.

Op, to be sincere, if you don't upgrade before you get married to that lady if eventually things is sorted. You would have issues in your home.

See, it's not a curse. Married folks can attest to this.

Her standard is much higher academically, financially etc than yours. You have been seen as a gold digger. She would want to reside in Lagos due to her job. Not mainland Lagos but on the island. Can you afford accommodation in Lekki or or VI.? She would have much say in the home because her income is much higher and her parents would be supportive. If you're not careful, your home would be dictated by her parents. Before you know, you would turn to their houseboy. At the long run, a hit or foul language on the lady will end the marriage.

Please, yoruba would say, ile ola niyonu. Another says, iyawo burku se fe, ano buruku o se ni (You can mange a bad wife but the in-law should not be harboured).

If you like yourself, make her your best friend and remain best of friends. She would love it that way and any request for support or assistance, she would be glad.

Marriage is not only about love o.
