BabaO2: Obasanjo never wanted anything good for Nigeria. He never wanted state police He never wanted independent power plants He destroyed banking sector He never wanted MKO He destroyed Nigerian Airway Get your facts right. He instituted the NIPP project before Yaradua and Jonathan. He's not a saint but has done more than any other president since democracy. |

Believe what you want but the westerners set the stage and narrative. Braiding of hair and wearing of gowns is native to Africa and African men. And it isn't crossdressing. Homosexuality does not exist in yoruba mythology. This is what we get for not documenting our own history as we have allowed "Ajoojis" (foreigners) do it for us. This is a fallout of our oral mode of transmitting history. The proponents of this fallacy risk the wrath of the deities. Even the Benin kingdom have similar traditional attires. I dare them to accuse the Benin kingdom of same. |

alignacademy: Thank you for sharing
Have you noticed how Apostle Paul spread the Gospel?
Several times in Scripture, you'll see:
"And he REASONED with them"
The famed Bereans were open-minded enough to give the apostles a hearing and that's when they became believers.
The dogmatic attempt to divorce the Gospel from reasoning laid the foundation for falsehood.
Christ Himself didn't force doctrines down people's throats but appealed to their minds with stories and parables.
Not with threats
This is not even about Daddy Freeze.
The Bible is there for anyone open-minded enough to study. And sharing of ideas is welcome.
Let Scripture interpret Scripture
Thanks again Flesh and blood did not reveal that to you......Bless your heart! |

Neither did you my dear SIR generaliy: You are yet to prove by any means that paying tithes is wrong, you didn't give any "fact and figure" whatsoever, so what exactly are you saying?
The time you folks use in attacking the church, if spent towards capacity building and self improvement, Nigeria would be a better place! |

The Backfire Effect. The Misconception: When your beliefs are challenged with facts, you alter your opinions and incorporate the new information into your thinking. The Truth: When your deepest convictions are challenged by contradictory evidence, your beliefs get stronger. |

Is it now that the government has come for his church that he wants to lead a revolution in democracy by asking congregants to join political parties?
It didn't occur to him over the years to enlighten church goers that they have the power to change their own fates thru elections until the FRCN law was enacted by a northern president?
He sat by and watched all these monsters pillage the entire existence of Nigeria, welcomed them to his church, prayed for them etc.
My memory of MEN OF GOD in the bible speaks different. They all spoke up "very loud" against nepotism. Some cursed leaders who wouldn't heed the word of GOD. |

It could be bad money management or the house. Salvage your situation from both ends.
So many arm-chair critics are quick to throw their opinions around with absolutely no idea what it is you're talking about.
My personal experience still has me reeling: I've been there!
I was of the opinion that "Aiye" only existed in nollywood until they came......started in a house I rented. The neighbors only started to talk after all four tenants in the house were clearly seen to be struggling.
I also believed no one born of a woman, with blood and water flowing in their veins could touch me; as long as I did good and was at peace with all men. WRONG!
The full story would come across as something out of a typical nollywood movie script.
You don't need any "Daddy in the Lord". Find a good christian - not from any of these new generations business centres. And it shouldn't cost you a dime. You have a whole of praying to do.
Find a new place and get it together. |

Chukzyfcb: Do you know that the old system of praticing tithe, indicates - You should eat your tithe @ some point - Give to the widows & needy
Also do you know that abraham didt tithe from his property but from the spoils of war?
Also you cannot say Jacob tithe, Jacob made a request to God(made a vow) in return for 10% if granted. That's no tithe!
Do you know that the only priest required to collect tithe are Levite priest. Christ is from the judah tribe. Even if we were to pay tithe, christ is not ALLOWED to accept tithe!
I remember Pastor chrisoyahkilome once said, He never believed in tithe, he said he was strongly an Opposition until he got into the ministry....I.e Pastor chris embraced tithe coz he was now into Pastoral duties where it'll be favourable to accept tithes....... Gbam!!! Great work! Never looked at it from these angles. |

Sanchez01: Lol. Most can't see it. The height of dogma is just too much. Most churches have done too much damages that only Christ can restore to factory setting. The ace up their sleave is "Touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm". The congregation is led to believe their is propitiation of sorts in active church activities, better still, in paying obeisance to the so-called man of God. Last i heard anybody preach the story of Ananias and Saphira - a classic example of what present day fellowship should be, was over 30 years ago. I once stood up,dusted my bible and walked out of a popular church in the Oregun axis 'cos the crap from the pulpit stank on that day. Oh yeah, that was my last day. |

Basic knowledge to send this person on his or her way would do - be kind enough to share. @ Ehinmowo, spend more time on the internet and you'll find loads of material. I started out farming Cucumber the same way and Voila! TheUnbeatable: Hmmn, as much as I understand you, I must tell you the truth. A consultant is someone that has paid the price and known a lot of things ahead of you. You will do yourself a favor by consulting anyone nearest to you. Whether you like it or not that money you don't want to pay directly, you will loose indirectly. I was someone like you before and I had to change my orientation. Some people have been doing what you want to do before you. Be humble and kind enough to pay whatever is requested and enjoy the ease and speed that comes with the ride.
Irrespective of what I know, if I want to do tomatoes, I will have to call jethro2 and ask for guidance and if she demand a fee, the best I can do is plead for a slash if I don't have the amount or plead for instantental payment. And that's if she will agree. With her guidance, I will scale the walls that fell many and she will market for me where my strength and connection fails.
This the reality of consultants. They are just like medical doctors. Skip them? Suffer for it.
@ Jetro # winks# Good Job sis. I am encouraged whenever I come across your work. God bless your hustle.
Sincerely,
|
