Malaria IS natural. The only reason why malaria needed a cure was because of its undesirable effects on those affected. If malaria had no negative effects, there would be no need to find a cure. By the way, where on earth did you hear that scientists are looking for a cure for homosexuality?

Basic Secondary school biology is being taught in secondary schools and I seem to remember a particular topic called genetics and variations(my fav then) eye colors and ability to write with either or both hands(ambidextrousity) is as a result of genetical diversities or phenotypes if you will. Once upon a time, the scientific explanation of these things you mentioned were not known. What's to say science won't properly explain this one in the future?

Internet penetration rate is not that low anymore, the main issue has to do with maintenance of infrastructure to run e commerce


2. Trust issues with Nigerians

The legal process in most African countries are very slow. Apart from this there is little or o consumer protection in place hence consumers are usually hesitant when engaging in e-commerce.


3. Low Purchasing Power

Blame this on the poor state of most economies in Africa. Most people here can't even afford 2 meals in a day

There is also the problem of poor access to credit facilities


4. Unfavorable Business Climate/Government Regulations

Government policies in most African countries change as frequently as the wind changes direction.

In some instances adverse government policies are used to settle political scores so as to frustrate a perceived political foe


5. Poor Infrastructure

Infrastructure are non-existent.

Are you serious? What if someone drinks too much or uses too much drugs, goes driving and causes a massive accident that claims several lives? Is that still your "mama and papa's" problem. People abuse drugs and alcohol, get sick and then turn to the public to help them. The list of reasons why it's not just a "mama and papa" thing (as you said) are practically endless. If there were no societal risks to drug abuse and alcoholism, nobody would even bat an eyelid about them. But society is tired of dealing with what individuals could have prevented. That's why it preemptively prevents such situations from happening by taking a strong stance against alcoholism and drug abuse.

The govt should have looked for a way to increase the efficiency of the existing system. An adage says you don't throw away the bath water with the baby.

Wasn't this the same way people complained about BRTs all through initial deployment and then the transition to Primero handling the BRT corridors. Now Primero has scaled to cover more of the demand and the complaints have died down. Why not you guys wait and see how Visonscape performs.over the next few months before complaining.

We all know we have some private solid waste evacuators before now and they are doing pretty well. Now ambode av sent them off the metropolis to the Peri urban area and replace them with vision scope that has less than 30 trucks.

If Lagos want to be better we need a competitive economy not monopoly.

Doing which well? Is it the PSP operators whose trucks breakdown as regularly as their irregularity in coming around to evacuate refuse? Just imagine the stench from a dump truck parked outside your compound for two weeks! Sometimes for three weeks to a month or even more, you wouldn't see them. Refuse would pile up and cars would be jostling for space with mounds of refuse. Yet they would be sending bills on a regular. If this is what counts as doing well in your books, then you don't deserve to live in civilized society.
