Atheists live their lives just like you do. The only reason atheists talk about God is because it it's the name in which ignorant religious people like you use to commit atrocities against atheists and other religions

2. Since there is no need to go to church as an atheist, no pastor will force you to;

*eat grass

3. No need to travel to Mecca for pilgrimage (or Jerusalem) since government no longer pays for it.

4. All those hours wasted praying for Nigeria to be better will now be used for something better

5. No more money spent on transport fare to church. Imagine going from lagos to otta or lagos to ibadan expressway and spending 3 hrs on the road

6. You won't miss your favourite sunday shows because of church eg premier league matches, telemundo full series etc

7. You will now be able to laugh whenever Lalasticlala pushes a thread about crazy pastors and ridiculous things in religion to the frontpage

8. You can now feel free blocking all those boring religious channels on DSTV

9. No more running on from office to mosque on Fridays for prayers

10. No more hunger games aka Fasting

First and foremost, production budget of a movie is the costs incurred in producing, making or creating a movie.

It is different and separate from marketing / promotional cost. It's also different from distribution cost.

These are the reasons why box office financial experts coined the movie rule : a movie should make 3x times it's production budget to be termed successful.

That 3x times gross covers all expenses including actual production cost, marketing and distribution. Any added earnings after that is pure PROFIT.
Note: a movies total box office gross is not entirely for the studios but shared between the cinemas and studios and other distribution partners in percentages. Hence, the 3x times box office proceeds tries it's possible best to cover all this expenses and leaves some tangible earnings for the production studio.

So, rather than adding the marketing costs, you feel it is sensible to multiply the production costs by 3 to get the total costs and estimate profitability.

So while suicide squad is a box office success, it is barely a success.

1. True Harley Quinn is not the central figure of Birds of Prey, it's Batgirl's team. The movie is centred on her because she IS a bankable Character, Fans love her / Margot Robbie.

Besides she is the most popular character amongst the Characters to be portrayed in the film. I'd say it's smart business using her as focal point for marketing.

2. Sexuality isn't a secondary trait for Harley Quinn, it goes hand in hand with her craziness.
Mera is sexy but sexuality is not her thing. She is more or less the Underwater Wonder Woman equivalent of strong and powerful women.

Sex appeal is the in-thing for Characters like Harley Quinn, Catwoman and Poison Ivy. Infact fans will protest if any of these characters is portrayed by someone they feel not "sexy enough".

I've read enough Harley Quinn comics to know what I'm talking about.

Of course every movie is produced to make cash.

It might look like a cash grab but WB needs to put up more Harley Quinn content as fans loves Margot Robbie. Even more Harley Quinn centred content are coming up or in development.
There is not much team up movie which involves Harley Quinn coming up even the Batman, so BoP is a way of not wasting her potential idling.

Besides, Harley Quinn was the ONLY POSITIVE thing to come out of critically panned Suicide Squad. So common sense dictates she be the Focal point of marketing.

She is already familiar with casual moviegoers and fans alike, other BoP members are not yet known by the public except CB fans, so Harley Quinn is the Centre of Marketing. Other members are just making their debut in the DCEU.

This your epistle will mean nothing when the movie flops.
