Please, mr journalist jets dont hover; helicopters do. Tje only fixed wing jets that do hover are the Harrier Jump jet and the F35 lightning 2.

The V22 Osprey hovers too but its neither a fixed wing no jet; its a turboprop which uses tilt rotor for vertical take off and landing.

The jets i mentioned earlier use Thrust Vectoring for tjeir VTOL capabilities.
