wa gbayii..seun Like the op mention,nigerian atheist needs to come outta that shy-shell and spill it boldly..atheists aren't particularly noted for the door-to-door canvassing, forcing pamphlets on people at bus stop , witnessing the call of jehovah or strapping explosives to ourselves like our brothers up north....nah we don't ... The religious folks have long been running things. lets speak up and stand our ground "enough is enough, keep religion and all separate, don't force your unwanted religion upon us , STOP BIASING EVERYTHING AGAINST THOSE OF US WHO DON'T SHARE YOUR BELIEFS .religion is slowly dying everywhere ,but before that we need to educate them,it will become more radical and more intrusive if we dont .waiting out the death of religion is likely to be a drawn out pain in the neck. OP your comments assume that each theological argument is unique and requires a unique set of knowledge and skills to refute.in fact, they all rely on the same set of fundamental errors, and they are all refuted by the same set of facts and observations, So it ends up being a bit like asking which argument in favor of jesus being a variety of God strongest and the most difficult to refute. either of kingebukasblog or winners01 or any general christains argument are always one lane, whether they explain it simple as *they have faith that jesus is God * or *Someone told them that jesus is God * or *they read in thier so called bible that jesus is God * or as complicated as a philosophical treatise involving appeals to thier contradiction or an extensive crank thesis that gets the assertation all wrong. Those arguments are all refuted by the same argument demonstrating that jesus is not, in fact, the sky daddy , there are no better or stronger arguments for wrong ideas. Some arguments may be more complex and more grandiose than others, but none is really more challenging than any other,theist will never have any strong evidence to prove all their arguments to be true. .. [b] Yea am not yet 100% but what's gonna hold me? ..despite the impossible odd of you being a full atheist in a society where you'll be tagged as a devil or an occult is slim been fully 100%.Have been on this since my secondary schl days..dunno what prompt it out but I just kinda see it odd why would some preacher tell me how to a sinner is gonna end up in hell and the righteous in heaven..have always been on that curious tale since then..always skip religious gathering for one or two silly excuses..it all changes in my early twenties, I had a last fling with religion in a desperate attempt to hold on to something that had been very important to me which is questioning the exisstence of God.bla bla bla ,being an atheist is a privilege, curiously I have more freedom about questioning about myself, and our existence. and It is a path to swap religion for philosophy. Wisdom without the divine filter. It takes out of the equation stress from thinking about pleasing a deity. I redeem my life better knowing I have the advantage to die together with my consciousness. That my afterlife would only exist if my actions impact life after me. And REINCARNATION would be only possible if my body get decomposed naturally so I become a nutrient for another living being.wasn't easy being an athiest. I still do attend religious gathering till date just to sum up their waspy tales and folklores to have more insight on their contradicting books and novel.. Fully blooded Nigerian [/b] 3 Likes |

If you have a particular faith or religion, that is good. But you can survive without it The funny thing is 89.9% theist know this miracle will eventually fail..but theyre so cleaved to that FAITH thingy..I'm astounded to that man who want to 'HEAL AN AMPUTEE ' when it's hard enough for t.b Joshua,adeboye and rest to do such at random without taggin faith on it..c'mon ah dey wait.. Why not Democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.if he/she's is capable of doing the rightful, will surely cast my vote for them..even regardless of thier religious background any candidate who's a good LEADER will have my vote..
